00:07Hello everyone, welcome! I'm Katzber from Artificer and we're making Minos. I'm recording
00:14this because Danny from Devolver told me to. He said that you said that the game looks
00:19cool but seems a bit complex. So Minos goes like this. There is a Minotaur in a maze.
00:26That's you. Heroes and adventurers come from across the land to slay the famous monster
00:33for glory and gold and fame and stuff. And you design a maze. And you put in traps so
00:40that the traps, the maze and the Minotaur eliminate everyone. No survivors allowed.
00:46So here's how this works. From the get-go you'll see a preview of where your labyrinth leads
00:52the enemies. You shape the labyrinth in any way you like. Straight up or long and windy
00:58or anything in between. You can set a sequence of traps matching the order of incoming enemies.
01:05You can split the enemy groups down separate paths. You can use traps that affect the whole
01:12groups of enemies. You can link traps with pressure plates so that the right trap hits the right
01:18dude. Or a mix of all the above. And if all else fails, you can send the Minotaur to fight.
01:27All that being said, it's better to eliminate enemies using traps. This way you gather more
01:33blood, which you offer to labyrinthos. And it will reward you with even more traps. Minos
01:42is a roguelite game. This means defeat isn't the end. You'll keep your progress and upgrades.
01:51But you'll also get a fresh start on your toolset of traps and artifacts to discover new player
01:57styles, synergies and combos. And if you look closely, you'll also discover secrets. Hidden
02:03trap combinations, secret levels, secret puzzles, secret keys that open secret doors leading to
02:09secret corners of this underground world. So, this should give you a clear overview. I hope Danny
02:16likes it. And I hope you like it too. Now, please go and check out the Minos demo. I honestly
02:21think
02:21it's the best game I've ever worked on. So, thank you. Bye!
