Marcos inspects equipment designed to boost relief production for disaster-hit areas
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Feb. 26, 2026 inspects the newly installed mechanized production system at the Visayas Disaster Resource Center in Mandaue City, checking both the equipment and the contents of the food packs produced at the facility. During the visit, Marcos examined the machines designed to speed up the packing process and looked into the quality of goods placed inside the family food packs to ensure they meet standards before distribution. He was joined by Rex Gatchalian at the VDRC compound along B. Suico Street in Barangay Tingub. The upgraded system is expected to significantly boost relief production for disaster-hit communities in the Visayas.
