00:00More movement this way.
00:03Whoa!
00:07On this episode of Expedition X,
00:10my team takes a trip into Massachusetts Bridgewater Triangle,
00:14a 200-square-mile mecca for all things unexplained,
00:19from Bigfoot...
00:20It just went boom, boom, boom!
00:23That tree came down.
00:26...to UFOs...
00:27Do you believe this energy has some type of sentience?
00:30I think so.
00:31I think it's been here forever,
00:33and it's going to be here long after we are.
00:36...to the supernatural.
00:37What is going on in the Bridgewater Triangle?
00:40Death.
00:41Death?
00:42Overwhelmed by paranormal activity,
00:44my team and their equipment are pushed to the breaking point.
00:48What the f***?
00:49I brought compasses.
00:50Whoa!
00:51Showing completely different directions.
00:53As they reveal shocking secrets...
00:56Heather, there's something moving.
00:57It's going at you right now.
00:59Look to your left.
01:00Did you see it?
01:01Oh, my God.
01:02...of the terrors of the triangle.
01:05I'm coming to you.
01:16Now, you guys know that I was born and raised in Massachusetts, right?
01:20And so was I.
01:21I was born in Boston, only for my first year, but still.
01:24Wikipissa.
01:24A what?
01:25You're not one of us, Phil.
01:26But you could be, and you're going to get a chance to go back to your roots.
01:30Heather, you are aware of Massachusetts' infamous paranormal reputation?
01:34Yeah.
01:34We're talking the Salem Witch Trials, H.P. Lovecraft stories.
01:37It's got a seriously creepy history.
01:38And I have to say, my whole life growing up there, there was one place that people would always talk
01:44about that's creepier than any other.
01:46It is known as the Bridgewater Triangle.
01:48If you're from Massachusetts, you know this place.
01:51And reportedly, it has everything.
01:54Spirits, Bigfoot sightings, UFOs, hukwudgies.
01:58Hukwudgies?
01:59Exactly.
02:00And people are constantly messaging me, sharing evidence, creepy stories, saying that we have to visit this place.
02:06So, enough.
02:07It is high time that Expedition X gets to the great state of Massachusetts and enters the Bridgewater Triangle.
02:18Drive through southeastern Massachusetts and you'll see New England at its most charming.
02:23White church steeples and colonial-era homes surrounded by dense farmland and forests.
02:29You'd be forgiven for not realizing this is reportedly one of the most paranormally active areas in America.
02:36The Bridgewater Triangle.
02:39Godfather of the Unexplained, Loren Coleman, first shined a spotlight on the region in the 1980s.
02:45While mapping paranormal occurrences, he discovered an unusually high concentration of claims in a triangular zone between the towns of
02:54Abington, Freetown, and Rehoboth.
02:56Today, most researchers believe the triangle is even larger and that almost every aspect of the occult can be found
03:03within it.
03:04There's the cryptids.
03:05The Native American tribes in the area told tales of Pukwudgies, woodland creatures known for their malevolent mischief-making, sometimes
03:14even luring people to their deaths.
03:16But the most common beast supposedly lurking in these woods is Bigfoot.
03:21Reports exploded in the 1970s and haven't stopped since.
03:25The triangle also has a long history of UFO activity.
03:29A dozen witnesses in 1976 reported seeing a football field-sized triangular craft moving silently over the city of Bridgewater.
03:39And then there's the hauntings.
03:41Properties throughout the region, particularly historic homes, are regularly sites of supernatural reports.
03:47Disembodied voices, inexplicable temperature drops, and sinister apparitions.
03:54What could possibly explain all this strange activity?
03:58Some whisper that a powerful energy exists hidden beneath the triangle,
04:03saying the area's unique geology is somehow creating a portal between our world and other dimensions.
04:11Locals are overwhelmed, desperate for us to map the many mysteries of the Bridgewater Triangle.
04:22Pretty creepy.
04:24Yeah, and what's so interesting here is that they have such a variety of unexplained activity.
04:29It reminds me of our investigation in Utah, Utah.
04:32Where you saw a skinwalker.
04:34I don't know what that thing was.
04:36And we saw a spectrum of things we could not explain there.
04:40And these places really fascinated me.
04:42These places of convergence, where the only theme is, there is no theme.
04:46So I would love to try to connect the dots here and maybe bring some method to the madness.
04:50What do you make of the madness here?
04:52Well, what's so fascinating and creepy about the Bridgewater Triangle is there is no historical reason for all this activity.
04:59There's no infamous battles.
05:00There's no abandoned disane asylum.
05:03There's no extreme tragedy.
05:04It just seems like this place is paranormally charged.
05:07And so since it doesn't have this obvious history, what do you think could be causing all that activity?
05:12Well, maybe there's something to these claims about strange energy.
05:16Or it's coming from the land itself.
05:18But the one thing I do know, we're not going to learn anything sitting here yapping in your office.
05:22We've got to get out there and figure out what's going on.
05:23I couldn't agree more.
05:24So I've leaned into my local contacts.
05:26I've organized some eyewitnesses for the two of you to meet right out of the gate.
05:30So your Massachusetts mission is to get to the bottom of Bridgewater.
05:34See if you can figure out the truth inside the triangle.
05:38Sounds pizzer?
05:40Just keep working on it.
05:41Oh, my gosh.
05:42Good luck, guys.
05:43A four-hour drive takes Heather and Phil from New York City to Bridgewater, Massachusetts,
05:48where a large group of locals are already gathered for a chance to tell their strange stories.
05:57So you're back in your motherland.
05:59That's right.
06:00You know, one could say I'm on a pilgrimage.
06:02Oh, my gosh.
06:03That's so bad.
06:04But I did some homework, and I found another slang word for you.
06:07Yeah?
06:08What do you call someone that's from Massachusetts?
06:12A Massachusettsite?
06:13A masshole.
06:14Wow.
06:15Did you just call Josh Gates a masshole?
06:17I mean, technically he is, right?
06:19You said it.
06:20And you're calling me essentially a masshole, too.
06:24You think Massachusetts would claim you?
06:25Well, I guess we'll find out real quick, won't we?
06:32Let's park the car.
06:37Hello.
06:38Hi, everyone.
06:39Hi.
06:39Thanks for joining us out here.
06:41See ya.
06:42Love to see so many faces here.
06:44So, first of all, thank you for meeting us here in the Bridgewater Triangle.
06:49This is an area we have heard countless stories about.
06:53Show of hands.
06:54Is there something odd going on in this region?
06:59Everybody.
06:59Oh, yeah.
07:00Yes.
07:01All right.
07:02Then we got to hear these stories.
07:03Who wants to go first?
07:06All right.
07:07I'm a law enforcement officer here in the Commonwealth.
07:09I was out in the forest one morning, and I hear a woman's voice clear as day.
07:14And it says, we're here, too.
07:17I look around, and there's nobody there.
07:20And off about 100 yards to my left, I see a white birch.
07:23And all of a sudden, it snapped in half, like a matchstick.
07:26Me being a law enforcement, I need tangible, factual evidence for most things.
07:30I have no explanation for this.
07:33I've been a hunter all my life.
07:35I don't get scared that easy.
07:37This, this is scary.
07:39There's something big going on in the back of these woods that I believe is bigfoot.
07:44I dealt with a creature walking around my property out back.
07:48One night, you could hear something bipedal walk up through the trees.
07:52I couldn't see it.
07:54And it goes, ah, like that.
07:56It just growled at me, like, ah, ah.
07:59And just started beating on a tree.
08:00It just went boom, boom, boom.
08:04That right there freaked me out, because it seemed aggressive.
08:06And that tree came down, like, fast.
08:11All I keep coming back to is that I have a family of bigfoots living in my backyard.
08:15I'm the owner of one of the oldest homes in the Bridgewater Triangle.
08:19People have had their hair pulled in the house, objects thrown.
08:22I have had disembodied voices, almost everything under the sun.
08:27It's not just in the house.
08:28It's outside the house.
08:29What are we talking about?
08:30I've got UFO activity.
08:33One night, I saw three objects in a triangular formation coming from the south.
08:38And when they reached the zenith, they disappeared one at a time.
08:43No red and green lights, which you would assume with an aircraft.
08:47I mean, that's pretty weird.
08:49Unnerving sometimes.
08:52One of the most freakiest things I've experienced inside the triangle is I saw lights in the woods, bouncing around.
09:01You instinctively follow them.
09:03You don't know where it's going to lead.
09:05I've heard stories that people get lured into the woods.
09:09They jump off bridges and rock walls and fall to their death.
09:14You felt like you were being drawn to a dangerous situation.
09:17Mm-hmm.
09:19I would say if you're going to investigate in the Bridgewater Triangle, you have to visit the Hockmock Swamp.
09:24I experienced everything from disembodied voices, strange lights, cryptid activity.
09:30There's something out there.
09:31I don't know exactly what it is, but you can feel it when you enter the swamp.
09:35Does anyone else think that?
09:36Yes.
09:37Oh, yeah.
09:37Yes.
09:37Everybody knows the Hockmock Swamp here.
09:40All right.
09:41Add it to the list.
09:45With so many stories to look into, Phil and I start by splitting up.
09:50He heads east to the Taunton River, where the majority of Bigfoot encounters took place.
09:55I head west to the Josiah Keith House in Southeastern, one of the oldest buildings in the triangle.
10:02Built in 1717, it once welcomed weary travelers as an inn.
10:06But today, it's said to host something else entirely.
10:10The undead.
10:12Hey, come on in.
10:13Good to see you again.
10:14Good to see you again.
10:15Justin Lewinter bought the house five years ago and has experienced a variety of frightening activity ever since.
10:24Thanks so much for letting me investigate your house.
10:26Yeah, absolutely.
10:27Sounds like this property has such varied activity.
10:30Yeah.
10:31I moved to this house because I love the history of the town.
10:34It never occurred to me this place could be so haunted, have such paranormal activity.
10:39Like what?
10:41I've had friends that have had their hair pulled.
10:43I've had footsteps in the middle of the night.
10:46I've watched the latch lifting up in my bedroom and door opening and closing and opening and closing.
10:53Why do you think that's happening here?
10:55We don't know.
10:56We've got 300 years of people living and dying here, but that doesn't explain what's going on outside, the phenomenon
11:02that are going on above the house, the UFOs.
11:07I've had voices telling my friends to come into the woods.
11:12You've had people lured into the woods?
11:14Yeah.
11:15Right by the swamp where plenty of people have gone disappearing.
11:19Did you believe in all this stuff before you came to the Bridgewater Triangle?
11:22I was a skeptic, but after living here for almost five years, I can certainly tell you I am now
11:27a believer.
11:28There are spirits here.
11:31With such a spectrum of unexplained activity to tackle, my first step is setting up cameras both inside and outside
11:37Justin's home.
11:38A DAP cam gives us an eye on the sky, while a trail cam facing the woods will catch anything
11:43coming from the infamous Hockamuck Swamp.
11:46With those set, I begin my investigation of the house itself.
11:52Indoors, this is an active haunting that is interacting with guests.
11:57To me, that means this is going to be a wild night.
12:07While Heather's investigating the historic haunted house, I've been hiking the woods east of the Hockamuck Swamp,
12:13searching for any signs that could back up the reports of what people say is Bigfoot.
12:19So, my best tool tonight is going to be the fleer.
12:28Some of the reports from people in this area, that they see trees get knocked over,
12:32the grunts, the knocks, the seemingly aggressive behavior.
12:37If you were to believe them, it seems like whatever is out here is not afraid of people.
12:42So, aside from a thermal signature, I'm also looking for any claw marks on trees that could tell us bears
12:49are around here.
12:49I'm looking for scat, anything that could hint at what large animal is living out here and terrify the locals.
12:59See if there's anything else out here with us.
13:03Let's move.
13:17Okay.
13:20This is the master bedroom.
13:23This is the room where Justin saw that door open and close several times.
13:30He even saw the latch being lifted.
13:33That takes a lot of energy.
13:36My question is, is that energy part of this house, or is it part of the Bridgewater Triangle?
13:43I'm going to try communicating with the spirit box and see if anything can get through.
13:51Starting my audio recorder.
13:56Turn on my spirit box.
14:05My name is Heather.
14:08You can use this device to communicate with me.
14:12Is there anyone here with me right now?
14:18Yes?
14:19Why are you here?
14:23Bad?
14:25What's bad?
14:28What the f**k?
14:30Hold on.
14:31Hold on.
14:32I have never f**king got that before on this thing.
14:36Start again and see what happens.
14:42Can you tell me your name?
14:49What the f**k?
14:51Can you stop making that noise?
14:55He just stopped.
14:58That's...
14:59That's insane.
15:12This place is definitely creepy.
15:17Creepy.
15:24What the f**k was that?
15:29Something was just moving.
15:36There's not a lot of cover.
15:40What the f**k was that?
15:47Right over here.
15:48Right over here.
15:55I just started knocking.
15:59Shoot.
16:01Flare just died.
16:03It just froze.
16:05I don't know what's going on with it.
16:12I've been in much colder conditions.
16:14Never had any issues with this equipment.
16:17I'm telling you, this is the first time this has ever happened.
16:26I want to investigate another room in the house
16:28and see if I get the same strange interference.
16:33Start this recorder.
16:35This is Heather.
16:36I'm in the Josiah Keith house.
16:39You can use this audio recorder to say something to me.
16:43I've already had interference.
16:44I'm going to try again to communicate using my spirit box.
16:52Is there anyone here with me right now?
17:00Hello.
17:02Who's here with me?
17:08What do you need help with?
17:10What is going on in the Bridgewater Triangle?
17:15Death.
17:16Death?
17:18Who died?
17:23What do you want?
17:27Walk?
17:28Where do you want me to walk to?
17:33You want me to go outside?
17:40Is there danger outside?
17:43Ah.
17:47What the f*** was that?
17:48Is someone running around?
17:50No.
17:50We're all here.
17:53No one ran through the house.
17:55No one shut a door.
17:56No.
17:56That sounded like footsteps that just ran through the house
17:59and slammed a door.
18:01I've got to check one.
18:06Oh.
18:07Oh.
18:10Oh.
18:11Oh.
18:14Oh.
18:14Oh.
18:15Oh.
18:18Oh.
18:18Do I hear anything?
18:22Do I see anything?
18:24Something just ran out here.
18:31Holy s***.
18:32What the f*** was that?
18:34There's something in the woods.
18:37Something just flashed in the woods.
18:39I just saw a flashing light and we heard a lot of stories about people being led into the woods.
18:50And what am I doing?
18:52What am I doing?
18:57Let me see if I can use my K-2 and get a reading on this.
19:00Let me see if I can use my K-2 and get a reading on this.
19:20Did you run outside of the house?
19:22Did you run outside of the house into the forest?
19:25Yes.
19:26Okay.
19:28Are you leading me somewhere?
19:31Yep.
19:33You're leading me somewhere.
19:37Am I going the right way?
19:47I heard one large noise.
19:50It sounded like something knocking.
19:54Just because I know this is what Heather would want me to do.
20:00I'm going to try to knock back.
20:20More movement this way.
20:43This tree just fell.
20:50Yeah, that would hurt.
20:51Way too close for comfort.
20:54How did that just...
20:57Happened.
21:01Looks like it came out of right here.
21:03You can see the hole that it was in.
21:07It feels like this thing was just pushed at me.
21:13If this was pushed over,
21:15nearest escape route,
21:17not do that.
21:19Probably right back through here.
21:27Look at this.
21:29Look at this.
21:31Something large walks right through here.
21:34I'm not saying that's Bigfoot size,
21:37but those are the biggest feet I've seen all night.
21:39So I think our best bet
21:41is leave a trail cam.
21:43I'm also going to grab some photos of these prints
21:45and try to figure out what made them.
22:04The vegetation has definitely changed.
22:07The ground is softer.
22:12Whoa, that's water.
22:13That's water.
22:14That's water right there.
22:15This must be Hockamock Swamp.
22:17Is this what you wanted me to find?
22:20Big spike.
22:22This thing's going crazy.
22:25Everyone says this is the beating heart
22:27of the Bridgewater Triangle.
22:30K2 meter's going crazy.
22:31Might as well be a rim pod with the way it's acting.
22:35This is definitely creepy.
22:38I walk along the swamp's edge
22:39for the better part of an hour.
22:41But with the sun about to rise,
22:43I reconnect with Phil.
22:44We decide to update Gates on our findings.
22:51Hey there.
22:52How was your first night
22:53amidst the wonderful weird
22:55of the Bridgewater Triangle?
22:57Both of us had very interesting nights.
22:59Okay, what happened?
23:00Well, a tree almost fell on me.
23:02Hold on.
23:02Did Bigfoot push a tree on you?
23:05I mean, listen, 99% of my brain
23:08is certain that it was all just a coincidence.
23:11But then there's that 1%
23:12that says there's the tree,
23:15there was the knocking we heard,
23:17and the fleer malfunctioned
23:18all at the same time.
23:20Which is interesting
23:21because I had some unusual activity
23:22on my instruments as well.
23:23I got this shrieking interference
23:25on my spirit box.
23:26You think this could all be connected somehow?
23:29Maybe.
23:29And not only that,
23:31I was told on the spirit box
23:33to go outside.
23:34I did,
23:35and then I ended up seeing
23:36these weird lights
23:37that led me directly
23:39to Hawkamauk Swamp.
23:40There's something very strange
23:42about the energy here.
23:43Strange lights certainly sounds interesting,
23:45and interesting that you bring up energy, Heather.
23:47I've been talking to these two local journalists,
23:50Tim Weisberg and Matt Moniz.
23:51Now, these guys have been studying
23:53the Bridgewater Triangle
23:54for like 20 years,
23:55and they have really interesting theories
23:57about its latent energy
23:59that they say is concentrated
24:01in Hawkamauk Swamp.
24:03And we heard a lot about
24:04the Hawkamauk Swamp
24:05at our town hall.
24:06So, Heather,
24:07how about you track down
24:08those journalists
24:08and I'll follow up with witnesses
24:10who had a lot of experiences
24:11at the swamp.
24:12All right, and Phil,
24:13jump in the car,
24:14bang a Yui.
24:15Go pick up some donkeys, will ya?
24:16Then frickin' get to work.
24:18Say something positive.
24:19I'm not there yet.
24:23Now head out to the edge
24:24of the Hawkamauk Swamp
24:25to meet with Gates' contacts.
24:27Hey, y'all must be Matt and Tim.
24:30So glad to meet y'all.
24:31Likewise.
24:32Matt Moniz and Tim Weisberg
24:34are arguably the leading researchers
24:37of the Bridgewater Triangle,
24:38sharing their findings
24:39on a radio show
24:40dedicated to its mysteries.
24:42So tell me about y'all's background.
24:44How did y'all get into this?
24:46I'm a scientist by trade.
24:47Background in analytical chemistry.
24:50And I work as a journalist.
24:52I want the story.
24:53He wants the data.
24:54So what do you think is here?
24:57To me, I think it's all energy.
25:00People who come out here
25:00and investigate,
25:01they're looking for
25:02individual experiences.
25:03But what we're experiencing
25:04is just different manifestations
25:05of that same energy.
25:07Do you believe this energy
25:08has some type of sentience?
25:10I think so.
25:11I think it's been here forever,
25:13and it's gonna be here
25:14long after we are.
25:15What makes y'all think
25:16it's so old?
25:18We got our hands
25:19on a U.S. Geological Survey map
25:21of the area once,
25:22and it's all just
25:23one big granite shelf.
25:25And all of that granite
25:26is so rich in quartz.
25:28We're sitting on top
25:29of one giant crystal.
25:30We are on a giant
25:31paranormal battery.
25:32Wow, that's incredible.
25:34On the south side
25:35of the swamp,
25:36I'm following up
25:37with one of our most
25:38intriguing town hall witnesses.
25:40Hey, Harry.
25:41Hey, thanks for
25:42meeting up with me.
25:43Harry Green Jr.
25:45claims he had
25:45a terrifying encounter
25:46in the heart
25:47of the Hockamock,
25:48one so disturbing
25:50that he says
25:51it blurred the boundaries
25:52between spirit and beast.
25:54What can you tell me
25:55about the swamp?
25:56I was out one night
25:57deep in the Hockamock,
25:58and one particular area
26:01I smelled this musky smell,
26:03the same scent
26:04that people get a whiff of
26:06right before a Sasquatch sighting.
26:08The temperature
26:09started to decrease.
26:11Then, believe it or not,
26:12I saw this bluish face
26:15hovering above the trees,
26:16and it evaporated
26:18into this misty lightning.
26:19Bluish face?
26:20Yes.
26:21The hairs on my arms
26:22stood up.
26:24What's so interesting to me
26:26is any of those things
26:28happened singularly.
26:29You may kind of shrug it off.
26:31Okay, it's cold right here.
26:32Okay, there's a weird
26:33smell over there.
26:33But it seems like
26:34all of those happen
26:35at the same time
26:37in the same place.
26:39Yes.
26:39Where exactly
26:40did you see this?
26:41Right near the Skim Milk Bridge.
26:43Skim Milk Bridge.
26:44Yes.
26:45Given y'all's experience,
26:46if we want to understand
26:47more about the Bridgewater Triangle,
26:49where should we look?
26:50Well, my suggestion would be
26:52start at Skim Milk Bridge,
26:54because that's where
26:55a number of paranormal things,
26:57UFOs,
26:58as well as cryptids,
27:00have occurred.
27:01Okay, so we have a destination.
27:03But bear in mind,
27:04what you go looking for
27:06in the triangle
27:07is not necessarily
27:08what finds you.
27:10So we need to be careful.
27:11Be very careful.
27:13With an ominous warning
27:14from Matt and Tim,
27:15I meet back up with Phil.
27:17It's clear where we're headed tonight,
27:19the Hockamock Swamp.
27:21So it seems like
27:22everyone agrees
27:23Skim Milk Bridge
27:24is where we got to go.
27:26Yeah,
27:26and I've been thinking about this.
27:28Some people believe bridges
27:29are liminal spaces,
27:30places of connection.
27:31Right.
27:32And there's this theory
27:33that water can be
27:35a paranormal conduit.
27:36So essentially,
27:37we're at a spiritual crossroads
27:39with an ancient bridge
27:40and this water
27:41leading directly to the swamp.
27:42So water,
27:44ancient bridge,
27:46X marks the swamp.
27:47Exactly.
27:48The Skim Milk Bridge
27:49is a dry stone slab bridge,
27:51which means it was made
27:52without any mortar.
27:54No one knows exactly when
27:55or how it was built,
27:56but it likely dates back
27:58to the late 18th century.
28:00Historians believe
28:01the name comes from stories
28:03that the water turned milky
28:04during its construction
28:05due to disturbed white clay.
28:08But bigger than the mystery
28:09of its creation
28:10is the mystery of its purpose.
28:12Why does it sit at the center
28:14of so many supernatural reports?
28:16Could this mysterious structure
28:18somehow be a conduit
28:19for the strange energy
28:20in the bedrock below?
28:24Okay.
28:29We are here.
28:31Bridge is there.
28:33Let's head in.
28:35Copy that.
28:52Where is this bridge?
28:54I don't know.
28:56We should have been there by now.
28:57Yeah.
29:01Oh, no.
29:02What?
29:03Uh, bad news.
29:06GPS is dead.
29:08What do you mean, dead?
29:09It's not turning on.
29:11Completely dead.
29:12Listen, I'm telling you,
29:13I fully charged this thing
29:14before we came out.
29:15This should be able
29:16to stay on for days.
29:18For once,
29:18I'm not going to blame you.
29:19I'm going to blame
29:20the Bridgewater Triangle.
29:22I have no idea
29:22where we are, honestly.
29:25Oh, we can't even see the stars
29:27to figure out
29:27what direction we're going.
29:29Well, everyone kept warning us
29:31about how easy it was
29:32to get lost in here,
29:33so I brought compasses.
29:35Oh.
29:36Oh.
29:37Which are?
29:38Showing completely
29:39different directions.
29:40What?
29:44That's crazy.
29:45Something is making
29:46our equipment go haywire.
29:56I don't get it.
29:58Maybe the energy
29:59in the Bridgewater Triangle
30:00can mess with compasses.
30:02What?
30:03They're moving back?
30:05Now they're aligned.
30:06Now they're aligned.
30:08Let's hope that
30:09they're both correct now
30:10and that north is this way.
30:14We know the stream
30:15was east of us
30:16and we haven't
30:17crossed the stream yet,
30:18so we head east.
30:19If we find the stream,
30:21we can find the bridge.
30:22Okay, you take one.
30:25And hopefully
30:26they stay matched up.
30:28Okay.
30:29Just keep it down.
30:30Okay.
30:45You hear that?
30:47Yeah.
30:49Is that the stream?
30:50I think it's the stream.
30:51Right up here.
30:53There it is.
30:56All right.
30:57We found the stream.
30:59Next,
31:00let's find the scheme of bridge.
31:01Okay.
31:01I think it's gonna be
31:02downstream in here,
31:03so that way.
31:04All right.
31:05Steal on the bank.
31:10Bridge!
31:12Bridge!
31:13Yes!
31:14Wow.
31:14Oh, my gosh.
31:17Look at this thing.
31:19These stones are massive.
31:23How the heck
31:24did they build this?
31:25I have no idea.
31:27Okay.
31:28Skim Milk Bridge.
31:29Not the best name,
31:31but pretty cool bridge.
31:33If Skim Milk Bridge
31:34truly is the nexus
31:35of the Bridgewater Triangle,
31:37then we're going all in,
31:39covering land,
31:40air,
31:40and water
31:41with everything we've got.
31:43I rig EMF tripwires
31:45across the bridge
31:46to catch any energy spikes
31:47and plant multiple rim pods
31:50on both sides of the river
31:51and on the structure itself.
31:53Meanwhile,
31:54Phil sets up trail cams
31:56and gets eyes on the sky.
32:03So you're making yourself
32:04ride at home
32:05and did a little bit
32:05of decorating.
32:06I did.
32:07Well, I have a camera set up.
32:09Keep an eye out
32:09to night vision binoculars
32:10and have the thermal drone
32:11on standby.
32:12I'm going to do
32:12a call and response session
32:13with a rim pod
32:14in the center of the bridge.
32:15So you've got the surroundings,
32:17I've got the bridge.
32:18Okay.
32:19Be careful.
32:20Stay on walking.
32:21Copy.
32:24Copy.
32:25Copy.
32:29I mean,
32:30if this bridge
32:30has been here
32:31for hundreds of years
32:32and this old trail
32:33has also probably been here
32:35for hundreds of years.
32:38I'm going to record
32:39this as Bo.
32:43This is Heather.
32:44I'm on the Skim Milk Bridge.
32:47Is there anyone here with me?
32:49You can touch this rim pod.
32:52You can touch the tripwires.
32:54I'll know.
32:55I'll see it.
32:57I'm trying to understand
32:59this energy here.
33:02People have said
33:04that whatever is in
33:06the Bridgewater Triangle
33:07is sentient.
33:10Let me know you're here.
33:16Oh my gosh.
33:18Okay.
33:19You're here.
33:21Are you a spirit?
33:27Are you an ancient energy?
33:33Do you manifest
33:35in multiple ways?
33:39Yes.
33:40I knew it.
33:44This riverbank's
33:45probably my best vantage point.
33:47I'm going to keep an eye out
33:48for movement
33:48along the tree line
33:49and see if anything
33:50is moving towards us.
33:53Were you watching us
33:55earlier tonight?
34:05Yeah, there's getting
34:06a lot of activity.
34:08Do you harm people?
34:14Yes.
34:15Yes?
34:16Multiple yeses.
34:26There's a lot of movement
34:28happening.
34:29My visibility
34:30is just completely
34:31shot by the thick brush.
34:35Oh my God.
34:37Whoa.
34:38There's big noise
34:38over there.
34:39I'm going to get the drone up.
34:48It's not just the land
34:50of the Bridgewater Triangle
34:51that's rife
34:52with strange reports.
34:53It's the skies, too.
34:55In March 1979,
34:57two journalists,
34:58Jerry Lopes
34:59and Steve Spragia,
35:00were driving near
35:01Bridgewater's
35:02Hockamock Swamp
35:03when they looked up
35:04and couldn't believe
35:05their eyes.
35:07They stared at what
35:08they said was
35:09a massive craft
35:10shaped like home plate
35:11on a baseball field.
35:13And they weren't
35:14the only witnesses.
35:15Dozens of other motorists
35:17stopped, stunned.
35:19Lopes was an Air Force veteran.
35:21He knew his aircraft
35:22and swore this was like
35:24nothing he'd ever seen.
35:26Subsequent calls
35:27to air traffic control
35:28also turned up nothing.
35:30So was this really
35:32an alien craft?
35:33A top-secret
35:34military test flight?
35:36Or some kind
35:37of manifestation
35:37of the eerie energy
35:39of the swamp?
35:40Chalk up one more
35:42unresolved mystery
35:43for the Bridgewater Triangle.
35:49What the f*** is that?
35:53Was that you?
35:56Yes.
36:03Phil?
36:04Do you copy?
36:05Yeah, I copy.
36:06Did you hear that
36:07on the other side
36:07of the bridge?
36:08Yeah, you heard that?
36:10Yeah, and I can't make it out
36:11with the night vision binoculars,
36:12so I'm about to launch
36:13the thermal drone.
36:14Try to get eyes on it.
36:15Copy that
36:15and let me know
36:16what you find.
36:17Will do.
36:27So I can see the river.
36:29I think that little dot
36:31is Heather on the bridge.
36:39Whoa.
36:40Got a hot spot.
36:41Is that it?
36:46Heather?
36:47There's something moving.
36:48It's going at you
36:49right now.
36:50Look to your left.
36:52Do you see it?
36:53I'm not seeing anything,
36:54but my rim pod
36:54is going off.
36:56It's getting close.
36:57It's getting close.
37:04Look to your left.
37:04Look to your left.
37:09What the hell?
37:11Heather,
37:11it just disappeared.
37:13Do you see it?
37:14It should be
37:15just on the other side
37:16of the bridge right now.
37:17I don't see anything,
37:18but all three of my rim pods
37:19are going off.
37:20Okay, I'm coming to you.
37:26Hey, you saw nothing over here?
37:28Nothing,
37:29but all three of my rim pods
37:30went off.
37:31Okay, drone is still
37:32in the air,
37:33so let's walk to exactly
37:34where this thing
37:36disappeared.
37:38So?
37:45Right here.
37:47Anything?
37:49I don't see anything.
37:55There are no tracks
37:57leaving the side
37:59of this trail.
38:01There's nothing here.
38:03All right,
38:03that's impossible.
38:05How?
38:05It was as if it was
38:07sprinting at you.
38:08I don't know,
38:09but you saw that thing,
38:11it disappeared,
38:12and then all three
38:14of my rim pods
38:14went off.
38:15Maybe that's all part
38:16of the energy
38:17of Bridgewater Triangle.
38:18It starts as one thing,
38:19and then morphs
38:21into something else.
38:22You're saying
38:23whatever I saw
38:24in the thermal joint
38:24with a heat signature
38:27transformed into
38:27whatever set off
38:29the rim pods?
38:37could the team
38:38really have been
38:39hunting some kind
38:39of sinister,
38:40shape-shifting entity
38:42like Heather
38:42theorized?
38:43If so,
38:44it certainly used
38:45its powers
38:46effectively.
38:47Despite searching
38:48the area for the rest
38:49of the night,
38:50the team failed
38:50to find any further
38:51trace of the anomaly.
38:53And anomaly really
38:55is the operative word
38:56for our Bridgewater
38:57investigation.
38:59The triangle seemed
39:00to have a greater
39:01spectrum of strange
39:02than anywhere
39:03we've been before.
39:04There were the
39:05inexplicable equipment
39:07failures.
39:08Phil's dependable
39:09infrared camera
39:10suddenly shutting down
39:11near Hockamock Swamp.
39:13Never had any issues
39:14with this equipment.
39:15The fully charged
39:16trail cam he left
39:17behind by the
39:18suspected Bigfoot prints.
39:20Those are the biggest
39:21feet I've seen all night.
39:22also glitched out,
39:23dying shortly
39:24after he placed it.
39:28And let's talk
39:30about those prints.
39:31They're much larger
39:32than the local deer
39:33could make,
39:33had no distinctive
39:34claw marks like you'd
39:36expect from a black
39:37bear paw print,
39:38and weren't human either.
39:39They remain unidentified.
39:43The results from our
39:44paranormal investigation
39:45were just as strange.
39:47After Heather's
39:48spirit box repeatedly
39:49let out a shocking
39:50high-pitched shriek,
39:54What the f***?
39:55I have never
39:56f***ing got that
39:57before on this thing.
39:58We had the device
39:59professionally examined.
40:00There was nothing
40:01wrong with it.
40:02And it has never made
40:03that anomalous sound
40:04since.
40:05And there's more.
40:07During that same
40:07investigation,
40:08Heather believes
40:09she found a chilling
40:10EVP.
40:11Where do you want me
40:12to walk to?
40:14Outside?
40:18She identifies the word
40:20follow.
40:23Could this command
40:24have come from the
40:25entity that she believes
40:27led her out into
40:28Hakamak's swamp?
40:29Were you watching us
40:30earlier tonight?
40:32Could this also be
40:34who they ultimately
40:35encountered at Hakamak's
40:36skim milk bridge?
40:38There's something moving.
40:39It's going at you
40:39right now.
40:40There was one last
40:41anomaly for the list.
40:43We analyzed the heat
40:44signature captured at
40:45the bridge on the
40:46thermal drone.
40:47It matched the
40:49dimensions and movement
40:50of a person.
40:51But no person can make
40:52their heat signature
40:53instantly disappear.
40:55With the claims of people
40:57being lured into the
40:58swamp by dark forces
41:00ringing in her ears,
41:01Heather is increasingly
41:02convinced something
41:04wicked lurks in the
41:05Bridgewater Triangle.
41:07But sadly, that wasn't
41:08the only thing ringing in
41:09her ears after their time
41:11in Massachusetts.
41:12There was also Phil,
41:14who finally connected
41:15with his roots.
41:16We're going to miss
41:17our flight.
41:18We are wicked late.
41:19Move it, you child
41:20ahead!
41:21Oh my gosh!
41:22Phil, you've
41:23completed your
41:24pilgrimage!
41:25Yes, I have!
41:27It felt pretty good
41:28to say that.
41:29You're a true
41:29masshole now.
