00:09so um back in 2019 2020 before the world exploded right um a lot of people were leaving i was

00:17that phase where i graduated college a lot of my friends were leaving um detroit to like start
00:22their new lives in different states in different cities and i was here i was like i really didn't
00:26really feel the need to leave like why why am i leaving unless if something was pushing me to
00:30leave i didn't really have a reason to leave right so for me i'm always like make the best of
00:35what i
00:35got so a lot of people were saying like oh there's nothing to do in detroit detroit is dead but
00:41like
00:41for me there's there's always something to do you just got to go ahead and look for it you know
00:46right
00:46and that's where detroit finds came from like there is things to do in detroit but you just got to
00:50find
00:50it and i feel like that's always been a common thread that i've been hearing from people who
00:56are from here where everyone outside of the city or outside of the state they're like detroit sucks
01:02like what's going on there ain't nothing to do here and then i get here and it's popping especially
01:07now especially why do you think that that's the the case um people aren't looking people aren't
01:13looking um i feel like in cities like um atlanta houston it's easier like it's easier to find the
01:19things to do because it's out there it's in your face right um detroit maybe we need to do better
01:23with social media or just like word of mouth but like it's out there if you don't want to find
