WHEN DAVID and India connected on Facebook, the attraction was instant. India told Love Don't Judge, "I saw his profile and I was instantly in love." India transitioned three years ago and was open with David from the start. David admitted, "It was a little different for me because it was the first time for me to date someone that is trans. But I just said you know what, I might just give it a try and see what happens - we gave it a shot and never looked back." The couple often share their love online, where they are subjected to a huge amount of judgement. "People say the meanest things to us. Trolls say we're the ugliest couple on the internet." In this episode of Love Don't Judge, we'll be hearing how the pair deal with the scrutiny that they face both on and offline.

00:03People say some of the meanest things to us.
00:05They say I look like a monster.
00:08They say I look like the damn gremlin woman.
00:10What is it?
00:11This is a man on a man. Why you keep calling her his wife?
00:14They always say, oh, I mess my face up.
00:16Anywhere we go, people stare at us.
00:19I'm India. This is my partner, David.
00:22The trolls say that we're the ugliest couple on the internet,
00:25but we don't care.
00:27We met on Facebook dating.
00:29I saw his profile, and I was instantly in love, like hooked on looks.
00:35As soon as she messaged back, I looked at all her pictures,
00:37and I saw her likes, dislikes, and I was like, okay.
00:40So I sent her a message.
00:42I said, so what are you looking for?
00:44She's like, I'm looking for something serious.
00:45I'm like, me too.
00:47We met September 21st,
00:49and I finally went to go see him in February, like February 2nd,
00:53and I never left his side.

01:02My husband do my hair all the time.
01:05He don't mind doing my hair.
01:06No, I do not.
01:07He color my hair.
01:08He cut the tracks out and put extra tracks in my hair.
01:12He really, like, lay my hair down.
01:15He does it all.
01:16And right after he do my hair, he cook for us.
01:20I knew a little bit about styling women's hair because my baby mama,
01:23she always did sew-ins.
01:26But India taught me how to do the wigs and to get it to where it blends in with the
01:29skin
01:30so that when you look at it, you don't see the track or anything like that.
01:34We get so much backlash.
01:36Go ahead.
01:37You start, baby.
01:37There ain't no...
01:38There's no amount of backlash we get.
01:40I mean, everything.
01:42Everything.
01:43People say some of the meanest things to us.
01:45But, you know, we have tough skin.
01:48All right, baby.
01:50You want to see how it looks?
01:51Yeah.
01:52Oh, so pretty.
01:54You always do it pretty, baby.
01:57Look at that.
01:58These are some of the comments we get on Instagram and Facebook.
02:04Someone say frightening.
02:07Y'all need Jesus.
02:09No soul.
02:10Lord have mercy.
02:12They say I look like a monster.
02:14They say I look like the Black Grinch.
02:17They say I look like the damn gremlin woman.

02:29They just look at somebody and they see me with no teeth.
02:31Not realizing that I haven't had to work.
02:34They be saying that we using each other or like I'm using him.
02:41Saying that we ain't gonna last long.
02:43We're gonna block these people.
02:44And I've been blocking a lot of people.
02:46I had like 300 people in 24 hours.
02:48They kept coming on the page.
02:50Talking about what?
02:51Oh, this is a man.
02:52I'm a man.
02:53Why do you keep calling her your wife?
02:55You can say so much mean stuff.
02:56But you know, I'm so used to it or whatever.
02:58Long, you know, I'm happy.
03:00I don't care.
03:01About your tattoos.
03:01And they always say I messed my face up and this and that.
03:05But they don't know where my tattoos came from.
03:07My tattoos came from pain.
03:09I use tattoos for therapy, you know?
03:11We respond to the judgment we face by looking at it, but not really letting it affect us.
03:18And it's not coming between us.
03:21We're the type of people that don't really care about what people think.
03:25We care about what makes us happy.
03:28I first transitioned three years ago.
03:31It was a little different for me because it was the first time for me to date someone that's trans.
03:36But we had so much likes and we just talked it and everything just went out great with us.
03:43So I was like, well, you know, why not just give it a try and see what happens?
03:47You know, so we gave it a shot and never looked back.
03:51So this is me as a guy before I started transitioning.
03:58I always knew I wanted to transition.
04:01How did my friends and family react?
04:03You know, it was really cool.
04:04I had prepared them for this.
04:06I had, like, warned them and let them know, like, when I turn 30, I'm going to turn to a
04:11woman.
04:12So I was getting them prepared for that.
04:15This is when I first start transitioning.
04:19Yep, I didn't have my breasts done or nothing like that.
04:22What procedures have I had?
04:23I had my breasts done.
04:25I did a lipo 360 and I did a BBL and I did my lips.
04:30I wanted to go for very much so, you know, alternative, rock star type girl.
04:35And look at me now.
04:39Yes.
04:41My transitioning journey have been so fun.
04:44Like, I've been loving every moment of this.
04:49So what's happening now?
04:50We're just going to go for a walk.
04:52Get some air.
04:53Get some air.
04:53Get out of the house.
04:54We get stared at a lot when we're out.
04:58Anywhere we go, people stare at us.
05:00But mostly in stores.
05:01People, you just...
05:02Oh yeah, if you go to a store that has like 100 people.
05:05That's what?
05:0680 other people is going to turn their head and look at us.
05:07We actually had a few people that were pushing their carts.
05:11And they ran their carts into racks because they turned around and look at us.
05:15They knocked over stuff off the rack.
05:18We'd look back and all you see is them turn around their carts.
05:21It was funny.
05:22We've had some really old people come up to us and say,
05:25Oh, I love your tattoos.
05:26I love how it looks on you.
05:28I don't know how you made that many tattoos look so feminine.
05:32Then you got other people that just like,
05:34give me that little dirty mean mug look.
05:38Have I noticed anyone staring at us since we've been out?
05:41Yes, I've noticed a lot of people been staring at us.
05:44Some people like try to play it off until like we walk away and then they look.
05:48But when we look at them, they turn their head.
05:50You know, that's just human reaction.
05:52They don't want to be seen.
05:54I used to be like, Oh, what is they staring at?
05:56But I realized I tatted my whole body up.
05:59I just want to ask them, do they like what they see?
06:03So we're going to play a song that we've written together.
06:06The name of the song is called Dancing.
06:09But it means more than just dancing.
06:11Yeah, it's me because I'm saying please don't give up.
06:12It's not the meaning to just go dance.
06:14It means whatever you're doing, just keep going for it.
06:17Just don't give up on it.
06:19We're going to wrap it.
06:20You want to?
06:21We're going to wrap it.
06:23Please don't give up.
06:26Just dancing.

06:41I'm too quick.
06:42Can't wash my feet.
06:48He changed my life for the better.
06:50I used to be outside person, running the streets every night, different states, different clubs.
06:57It wasn't safe.
06:58You know, it wasn't safe at all.
07:00And I'm so happy I met him because I slowed down a lot.
07:03My life slowed down a lot.
07:04Like, I don't want to go outside.
07:06I just want to be with him.
07:08And she changed my life around because I used to be a workaholic.
07:12I used to work all the time.
07:13Used to stay to myself.
07:15A lot of people really didn't even notice me or anything.
07:18And now that I'm with her, everybody notices me.
07:22I still work.
07:24Now I got more people looking up to me.
07:26Go ahead, Chips.
07:42And your spontaneousness, you don't know what we're doing tomorrow.
