00:08what made you go the basketball route instead of like going to the you know trying to go to
00:12the nfl and stuff um i think it was more just on a simple fact that i love practicing basketball
00:18more i feel like when you practice football there's a lot of like ladders and weights and
00:23stuff that's just really not obtainable or not something that you could you could like
00:27that you're just practicing by yourself like you can't really see it transfer over uh directly
00:32and then with basketball you could just you know play five on five with your friends and stuff like
00:35that two on two one-on-one you know i'm saying so it's like competitive and it's something that you
00:40could do on everyday basis like anywhere so i felt like that was kind of what drew me to like

00:45basketball even though i've been playing football all my life i play i didn't pick up basketball to
00:49like high school now you know i'm new to you so where did you go after high school because i

00:54you were good at basketball and football like what was the next step after that um i went to i
00:58signed to a scholarship to play basketball at florida a&m university so okay ratless so okay did
01:06you go did you play all four years or you completed yeah i went all four years um got my
01:12bachelor's then i stayed actually like year and a half got my master's out there and then i went
01:17overseas to play professional okay so you're still banking pretty good money i know your whole family
01:22was uh depending on you to take them you know i actually to the next level i actually wasn't
01:29making no real good money at the time because you know uh you know nil things have become a big

01:35now yeah but back then nah it wasn't that like you know you wasn't getting paid for the sport for
01:40for you know you was getting pail checks and whatever to like you know supply what you needed while you
01:45was in school but um then when i went overseas like my first contract was for like five hundred dollars
