00:00Four PKR MPs have urged Poochajaya to immediately suspend all steps and processes
00:06for ratifying the Reciprocal Trade Agreement signed with the U.S. last year.

00:17made the call following the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling last week
00:20that President Donald Trump overstepped his presidential powers by unilaterally setting tariffs.
00:27They urged the government to publicly disclose the steps and processes it intends to undertake
00:33regarding the ratification of the trade deal which Trump signed with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim
00:38when he visited Kuala Lumpur for the ASEAN Summit last October.
00:43The MPs also called on the government to provide updates on all developments
00:47regarding the potential rollback of billions of dollars in tariffs,
00:51ensuring that Malaysian exporters who have already borne part of the tariffs
00:56receive refunds.
00:58They urged Anwar, the PKR president, to exercise caution
01:02and refrain from committing to any trade agreement
01:05that could undermine national sovereignty during future meetings with Trump.
01:10Yesterday, Anwar said the cabinet will be briefed on the ramifications
