00:00Gentlemen, at the outset, let me state this, that this recently concluded operation of
00:08Karachi is the perfect example of perseverance, clarity of thought, proper planning, the
00:19vision which we had, and most importantly, relentless efforts of the months, an integrated
00:26approach of each and every force and each and every agency working over here, and most
00:33importantly, it is the perfect example of seamless coordination at all levels, at all
00:43levels, from the troops working on ground, from all of us sitting over here, between
00:48the co-commanders, the ADGs, IDs, between the DGP and the Army commander. And let me tell
00:57you that everybody contributed towards the success of this operation decisively. All the resources
01:06which were available to all of us, all were employed in a joint and integrated manner, from
01:14a dog to a drone. And what you see, the success you see today, is actually the reflection of
01:23the strength of our unity of efforts. You know, this particular operation, though it started
01:30on 14th of January, and our first contact was established on the 18th. And after that, we
01:38established multiple contacts, on the 18th, then on the 22nd, then on the 25th, then on
01:45the 31st, then on the 4th, and then on the 8th. But our aim was not achieved. But together,
01:55we did not lose heart. We had the clarity of thought and we kept on planning and preparing
02:01for the operation. Every day, we used to sit on the drawing board, we used to reorient ourselves,
02:08realign ourselves, redeploy ourselves. Because together, we were dynamic in our thoughts and
02:14in our actions. We would quickly discuss any hint which used to come from any of the agencies,
02:20any of the courses, we would collaborate it, and redeploy ourselves, and start walking again.
02:36We got our first success here on the 4th of February when we killed Adit. And then, we kept on
02:45personal, we were in constant perseverance of our aim. And it was on the 21st, within these
02:52operations when, you know, the SSP Gishtward, Mr. Naresh, he gave the input to Brigadier Sunil,
03:01who is the Commander 9th Sector, and we corroborated it through all the agencies which are present
03:08here and working over here. And then the operation was launched. Collectively, jointly, with all
03:16the elements which we had on our disposal, that is the Army, the Special Forces, Police, the SOG, the CRPF,
03:25and everybody. And collectively, you would have seen that the way we operated, in a very, very calm,
03:34composed, collective, collaborative manner, that the kind of success we achieved, especially, you know,
03:42without suffering any casualty, any harm to any of our troops, except for the brave dog Tyson, who
03:51actually initiated the operation, and that is how collectively we could conclude that operation.
03:58But let me tell you one more thing. What you see is not just the effort of, you know, last
04:05one month only.
04:05It's been months and months that we were collectively working on this. We were carrying out operations
04:15relentlessly. And there were challenges in front of us. Challenges in terms of terrain,
04:22challenges in terms of weather, rain, it snowed, there were landslides. And you would have seen,
04:29in any of those conditions, you would have seen all of us standing together, like a wall. And moving together,
04:36and that is what reflects our collective and collaborative efforts. So it was a continued
04:45approach towards the operation. We also knew that such long operations could set in fatigue in our troops.
04:54So we used to plan in a manner that we had enough troops to rotate them. We had enough troops
05:00up our sleeves
05:02either to be dropped by helicopters or to walk the kind of terrain it is there. It used to take
05:10us six to eight hours,
05:11but we used to reach there. And just imagine, so many different forces operating in such a small area, what
05:19kind of
05:19coordination and collaboration is required. And that was achieved at every possible level. And I think that is the strength
05:29we have.
05:30And that is the strength which gives us more confidence that come what may, we keep operating like this,
05:37and we keep neutralizing terrorists, whosoever comes in our area, which is of responsibility. And not just this, you would
05:45have seen,
05:46that the Delta Force with the support from Wild Light Corps, from Northern Command and from the support of each
05:56and everyone
05:56who is sitting here and who is not sitting here also, we are just representing our forces and agencies. But
06:04each one contributed that in the month of February,
06:08we have been able to eliminate six JGM terrorists. And on both the extremes of our area, one in the
06:16area of Khudampur
06:18and other in the area of Keshitwar. And we together, we promise you that we will continue to do so.
06:27And to the awaam,
06:28awaam, I would like to say that, uh, uh, uh, uh,
06:33in the area of Keshitwar. And I am so, so proud of our, uh, bonding which we have today together,
06:57the integrity, the, uh, uh, uh,
07:01unity of effort which you see, not just in the operations, in the HADR missions, that everywhere and anywhere,
07:09whenever there is a situation of crisis, we stand together, we will stand together. And my message to all the
07:16anti-national element is,
07:17that wherever you are, anybody who is the enemy of the nation, wherever he is, in which, whichever form he
07:25is,
07:26he will be identified, targeted and neutralized.
