With the bar job dried up, Gina does what she always does when money runs short: she looks for more dirty work.

At The Hole, the guy behind the counter is blunt — for today, there’s no one left looking for muscle.

No drama. No nostalgia.
She leaves and heads straight to the Shopping District, where a vinyl record store works as a front for things that are anything but clean.

The clerk listens quietly, straightens a record on the counter, and says:
— I’ve got two jobs. Want the easy one or the weird one?

Job 1 — The Freezer Guy

The target is a guy who hates the heat and decided to hide… inside an industrial freezer.

Gina finds the place, opens the door, and sees him curled up, shaking, begging:
— I’m just here ‘cause it’s too hot outside… leave me alone.

For the first time in a long while, Gina hesitates.
Not out of mercy — out of discomfort.
This one’s strange, even by her standards.

She closes the freezer door.
Walks away.

But halfway back to the shop, the math does itself in her head:
Three thousand dollars.

She turns around.

This time, no talking.
She drags the guy out of the freezer with her fists, settles it the only way she knows how: don’t think too much.

Job done.
Money collected.

Job 2 — Protests Don’t Pay Bills

Back at the store, Gina asks for more work.
The second job comes quick — outside a hospital, not far from the freezer.

A group of people is protesting for better conditions.
Noble? Maybe.
Profitable? Not at all.

Gina’s been paid to shut it down.

Alone, it turns out tougher than expected. So she calls backup:
Zeus and Anton — two absurdly muscular bruisers, stacked with HP, ridiculous strength, and zero patience.

The protest ends in fists, shouting, and bodies on the ground.
It’s ugly. It’s unfair.
But it pays.

Gina grabs the cash without hesitation.
She doesn’t buy speeches — ethics don’t fill wallets.

End of the Day

Back at the record store, the clerk shakes his head:
— That’s it for today.

No complaints. Gina follows her usual path.
She heads back to The Hole, drinks one after another, and lets her body loosen up.

A job well done deserves a celebration.
Even when the world’s a little worse afterward.

And Gina?
She drinks.
