The United States won the men's Olympic ice hockey gold medal for the first time in 46 years

00:00The players just had the president on, I don't know what it was, what do you call it, FaceTime, whatever,
00:07in the locker room.
00:09So he just spoke to the group, you know, expressing his, how proud he was of the group and congratulating
00:18everybody on the win.
00:19You know, obviously this was, this game in a lot of ways was an inspiration to our country.
00:26And, you know, I can't tell you how many texts I've received over the last day or so about watch
00:32parties at eight o'clock in the morning.
00:33And from a viewership standpoint in the United States, there were a lot of people paying attention, the president included.
00:38We're all proud Americans, obviously.
00:40And I mean, this is a huge moment for, for us.
00:43It's a huge moment for the United States.
00:45And, you know, he just, he called and just congratulated us.
00:50It's an honor to wear this jersey and to represent the U.S. and to go home with a gold
00:56medal.
00:56I mean, you know, how much that means to the guys in this room and how much it means to,
