00:04What do you expect here in a pretty important Big East matchup?
00:09First things first, J.Y. will be in the building tonight, Section 115.

00:21Not really.
00:22But when you really look at this game, this is a big game for both teams.
00:28You know, for UConn, listen, they got to kind of start to get themselves right.
00:35Obviously, they lost St. John's a couple weeks ago.
00:36Giving up 91 at home is something that does not happen.
00:40So I expect an ornery Dan Hurley today.
00:45And I'll be sitting across from their bench, so it'll be interesting to see.
00:49For Villanova, they have quietly had a very good season.
00:55But they have to step up to the plate.
00:57Remember, they had a war with UConn in which they almost won it in regulation.
01:05Where this game is going to be won is inside.
01:08So when you talk about Lewis and you talk about Perkins and Lindsey
01:11and all these guys from Villanova, even the kid from Belgium, Matt Hodges,
01:16has been really good at stretch forward.
01:17To me, it's been the play of Duke Brennan inside.
01:20It's been key.
01:21Maybe I'm a big man coach, so that's how I get down.
01:24Duke Brennan over 11.5 rebounds.

01:29Over five of the last seven games.
01:31One of the best offensive or defensive rebounders in the country.

01:36Now, remember, I took him last week and I was hot like fish grease.
01:39Yeah, Terrence Reed, that wasn't one of them.
01:40That was probably my worst pick in three years.
01:42I think he had more rebounds.
01:44Oh, no, I'm sorry.
01:45More fouls than rebounds in that matchup.
01:47Four to three, I think.
01:48So, Reed's going to have to try and control Duke Brennan.
01:51They will both be inside.
01:53Give me the Duke.

01:56Duke Brennan over 11.5 rebounds tonight.
01:59I just realized that if JY bet Taras Reed over the fouls plus rebounds prop,
02:07it still wouldn't have come close to coming in.
02:09That was a tough night for Reed in that game.
02:13My very honest cap with you guys on Villanova-UConn is I'm too scared to get involved with this one.
02:18I don't feel comfortable about it at all.
02:21I think that this is a spot where Hurley's going to have his guys up.
02:26And they, you know, certainly don't want to be losing a second straight game.
02:30This game means a lot to Villanova.
02:33And Nova struggled to grab a win like this this year.
02:36And at home, I think it's going to be a tough game.
02:38The total looks a little bit high to me.
02:40But admittedly, this is about where these biggies numbers have been booked.
02:43So, I backed away from it.
02:45I did, though, get involved with St. John's Creighton.
02:48And I played Creighton at plus 12 and a half.
02:51Now, this is not usually how I probably would go about things, right?
02:57Creighton just caught 15 and a half at UConn.
03:00This is three points less.
03:03The thing is, even if I like St. John's and, you know,
03:07have some pieces of them to win the national championship, UConn is better.
03:10And we know UConn is probably expected to be about a three-point difference between them.
03:17The other thing is, we talk sometimes about teams needing games who do not really need the game as much
03:26as we like to suggest.
03:28Like, oh, does UConn need the game today against Villanova, for example?
03:34Not really.
03:35They probably blew their chances on one seed.
03:37They're going to be a two or a three.
03:40And they want the game.
03:43Creighton, though, with their win over UConn, all of a sudden, if, and I'm not saying they will,
03:50but if they pulled off the upset, they might have saved their chances to make the tournament.
03:56And I, again, I know that, like, we're probably still at the point of the year where everyone's, like,
04:00still, like, figuring out who's good and whatnot.
04:02But a NCAA tournament without Creighton's a little weird.
04:06Because Creighton's in the tournament every single year.
04:10And I just think, JY, 12 and a half for a Creighton team who now has some belief,
04:17I think it's too many.
04:18I took the points here with the Blue Jays.
04:20I went the opposite way because I think of the fact that I think they have Creighton's attention.
04:25And I'm concerned about a letdown spot with them after winning, say, the game versus UConn.
04:31I'm trying to think about the travel.
04:33They may have to go back and then fly back east unless they stayed out here from playing.
04:39So I actually like St. John's, my support.
04:41This is a huge game for Creighton.
04:43They are combined 4-12 in quad 1, quad 2 wins.
04:46They need today.
04:48They need to at least be close.
04:50Because if they get blotted by 20-plus, they could have kissed their hopes goodbye.
04:54That could go to Villanova.
