00:00The US Supreme Court struck down many of President Donald Trump's sweeping tariffs

00:05in a major ruling on Friday, but Trump reacted by imposing additional 10 percent tariffs

00:11on international imports the same day, a sign of his unwillingness to step away from his

00:17signature economic policy started last year.

00:21But we will charge them approximately half of what they are and have been charging us,

00:26so the tariffs will be not a full reciprocal, I could have done that, I guess, but it would

00:34have been tough for a lot of countries who didn't want to do that.

00:38The court ruled that a 1977 law Trump relied on to slap sudden rates on countries from

00:44last April onwards does not authorize the President to impose tariffs.
