00:00The flurry of diplomatic activity this week in Geneva.
00:05Two sets of really high-stakes talks.
00:07Let's start by talking about the Iran talks.
00:10There's a lot of concern in the region I'm speaking to you from
00:12that things could escalate, and if they do escalate,
00:15it would mean a regional war, potentially.
00:19Hank, do you think the U.S. wants a deal with Iran,
00:22or is this all the U.S. going through the motions
00:25that's just a prelude to a war?
00:28The United States has been fooling around with Iran for a long time.
00:31We have not resolved it since the seizure of hostages in 1978.
00:35Iran is engaged in international terrorism that we know,
00:38and that's documented and not speculation.
00:40The question is, will the United States understand
00:43that the Iranians are serious when they say they're not doing anything
00:45because they're not doing anything from their minds,
00:48and they intend to dribble this along?
00:50The Americans have to make a decision about whether they stop the dribbling
00:52or whether they don't, and if they don't,
00:54they will look very silly in the region and throughout the world.
