00:00What is going on, Suns family? We have some important injury updates to go over ahead of
00:05tomorrow night's matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, so let's get right into it.
00:09First, a significant development for the backcourt. Guard Grayson Allen has officially
00:14been ruled out for tomorrow's game. He was initially listed as questionable on Wednesday's
00:18post-All-Star break injury report due to a right ankle sprain, and he has now been downgraded.
00:23This is separate from the knee issue that caused him to miss the final three games.
00:27Before the break, looking back at his season, Allen has also dealt with a right quad injury
00:32back in November, as well as an illness and a right knee injury in December. Switching focus
00:37to the opposing side for a moment, the Spurs will be without Dylan Brooks who is serving
00:42a one-game suspension after picking up his 16th technical foul of the season against the Thunder.
00:48Also out for San Antonio is Lindy Waters III due to a left knee hyperextension, and Mason
00:53Plumlee is sidelined for return to competition reconditioning. Now, circling back to some news
00:59here in Phoenix, the newest member of the squad, Haywood Highsmith, who officially signed with the
01:03team on Wednesday, will also be out for tomorrow's game as he manages a right knee injury. Before his
01:09release ahead of the All-Star break, his agent told the New York Daily News CJ Holmes that Highsmith
01:14was actually working out in five-on-five situations with the Brooklyn Nets, so he has been staying active.
01:19On a more positive note, we have some key players who are fully available. Devin Booker and Jalen
01:23Green are both off the injury report. After sitting out the final game, before the break against
01:28Oklahoma City, additionally, Isaiah Livers, who missed the last three games with a shoulder issue,
01:34is also good to go and has been removed from the report. Just to put Allen's impact into perspective
01:40before we wrap up, in the 35 games he has played this season, he is averaging a solid 17 points
01:46on 41.8% shooting from the field, along with four assists and four rebounds. He is also knocking
01:53down 36.9% of his shots from beyond the arc. So, with Allen out and some fresh legs returning
02:00to the
02:00rotation, how do you think Coach Budenholzer should adjust the starting lineup tomorrow night against
02:05the Spurs?
