00:00All you got to do is talk.
00:01Is it because our whole life, everything's been written down for us?
00:04Maybe.
00:05We just have a different experience, like, communicating how we feel than, like, I don't know,
00:09just people that aren't in the same field as us.
00:10I don't know.
00:11Asha, I interviewed you a few years ago for Shazam, and it was one of the most chaotic
00:17interviews that I've done.
00:19Was I with Jack Dylan Grazer?
00:20Yes, you were.
00:21Asha.
00:23But you guys basically, like, sung every answer to me.
00:28Like, that's just how you were.
00:29And I see on your Instagram, you're singing all the time.
00:31Paris, was he singing at you all the time during this?
00:34She thinks I'm a dork.
00:36No, I don't.
00:37Well, no, the best possible.
00:38I mean, a dork to me is a compliment.
00:40That's a compliment to me, too.
00:42No, he has a fabulous voice.
00:43So, yeah, whenever he would sing, I would just be like.
00:46She does, too, though.
00:47So, I mean, we're both triple threats, you know what I mean?
00:50I try to harmonize here and there.
00:52No, this one rips.
00:53She really did.
00:54But I'd always probably break out in a song.
00:57We both did while we were on set.
00:59Kind of helped us get into character, I feel like.
01:01We're always dancing.
01:02We're always singing.
01:02We're always just being goofballs, I guess.
01:05I would play his songs in the trailer.
01:07Yes, you would.
01:08Because I was always in control of the speaker in the hair and makeup trailer.
01:11So, I would play his songs.
01:12Because they're so good.
01:14So sweet.
01:14I love his music.
01:16I love you.
01:16So, we, yeah.
01:17He wasn't singing and I was playing it.
01:20We've got a duet coming at some point, surely, then.
01:23Oh, I think kissing is the easy part number two.
01:25Yeah, I think.
01:26If you could do a little duet for the soundtrack.
01:28I think Sean and Flora, why not?
01:28We're for the soundtrack.
01:29I mean, don't get to ask us twice.
01:34Obviously, it's called kissing is the easy part.
01:36But, so, what have you guys have found is the hardest part of a relationship through
01:42all this?
01:43Communication.
01:43Yeah, communication.
01:45It's so hard to communicate sometimes.
01:47It is.
01:47Like, why does it have to be so difficult?
01:49And I try to understand where, you know.
01:52All you got to do is talk.
01:53I know.
01:54Is it because our whole life everything's been written down for us?
01:57Maybe.
01:57We just have a different experience, like, communicating how we feel than, like, I don't
02:01know, just people that aren't in the same field as us.
02:03I don't know.
02:03Like, it should work.
02:05It should.
02:05Because I feel like we're doing an excellent job.
02:07I mean, I don't know.
02:09I'm doing the best of my capability.
02:10I mean.
02:10Sometimes I do actually have to be like, okay, I'm going to remove myself for a second.
02:15I'm going to write down my thoughts and process, and then I'll come back to you.
02:19But, yeah, communicating's hard.
02:21It's not easy.
02:22Yeah, it doesn't get any easier.
02:24I'm afraid to tell you.
02:26Good to know.
02:28Oh, noodles.
02:28Buckle up, baby.
02:30It should be a long ride.
02:32Listen, guys, I love a rom-com.
02:34So, I'm all in.
02:36Like, when they say, like, these films coming out, I'm like, great.
02:38Like, this just, it brings me so much joy.
02:41For you guys, I mean, I can see that you obviously had a lot of fun making it.
02:46But, like, is there something that you particularly love about rom-coms yourselves?
02:49I just, I love love.
02:52That's exactly what I was going to say.
02:53But I was like, wait, maybe she's just.
02:55Such a little lovey-dovey little birdie.
02:58Yeah, I love love, honestly.
02:59And just, yeah, I watched them when I was young.
03:04And that's what made me want to act.
03:05So, I wanted to be, I wanted to be that girl that he sees across the room.
03:09You know what I mean?
03:10A twinkle in the eye.
03:11Sparkle in the eye as they lock eyes together.
03:14Like, I wanted, I just wanted to do, I thought that's, I'm such a cheese ball.
03:17But I loved all of that stuff.
03:19Oh, my God.
03:19You're my kind of people.
03:21Like, I literally, when people get engaged, I'm like, I love love.
03:24I'm like, that's literally what I write.
03:26So, you are exactly my kind of people.
03:29I love that.
03:29I love that so much.
03:31How long have you two known each other?
03:32We've known each other for, like, it's like almost our eight-year anniversary.
03:37It's our eight-year anniversary.
03:39Eight-year anniversary.
03:40Yeah, like eight years.
03:41Eight years.
03:42I went to go visit her on set.
03:43And we've always seen each other in passing.
03:45Like, maybe on, like, carpets or.
03:47Yeah.
03:47My littlest sister, Skye, had the biggest crush on Asher when he was on Andy Mac.
03:53And so, then he came and visited me on Alexa and Katie.
03:56And she was just attached at the hip the whole time.
03:59Like, there's, I have a few.
04:00Oh, I should find the photos.
04:01No, you have to find a photo.
04:02There's a few photos where she's just like.
04:03That's my girl.
04:04Shout out, Skye.
04:05We love you so much.
04:06Shout out to Skye.
04:07She's actually here in New York right now.
04:08She is.
04:09And she's just the best.
04:10And Jojo.
04:11Love you, Jojo.
04:12And plus, all the sisters.
04:14All the sisters.
04:15All your siblings.
04:15Avi.
04:16London.
04:17Very family-oriented.
04:18So, we love our fam.
04:20Was it weird, like, doing this, like, when you've been friends, I guess, or known each other
04:26for so long, like, making that switch and like, okay, now we have to act like we love each other?
04:31I feel like us just having such a close friendship just makes it so much easier.
04:36Yeah.
04:37Especially, like, spending time together.
04:39Like, when we were on set, I always just wanted to make sure Paris was comfortable.
04:42She always wanted to make sure I was comfortable.
04:43I think that always comes first.
04:45And we did a really great job of doing that.
04:48And I think that that really helped.
04:51It never felt weird.
04:53At all.
04:53But there would be times I would have to, like, mentally switch my brain of, oh, you're not my brother.
05:00You're not my friend.
05:01Like, you are my, like, I'm in love with you, right?
05:04Like, you're my boyfriend.
05:05You know what I mean?
05:06I had to do that a few times.
05:07But I don't know.
05:08It never really felt weird.
05:10No.
05:11If anything, we were just, like, laughing.
05:12And, like, we were like, all right, we know what we're doing.
05:14And we had our inside jokes.
05:17And we were giddy about it.
05:18We just made it fun.
05:19I feel like the more you are just, like, kind of awkward and, like.
05:24We didn't put pressure on her.
05:25Yeah.
05:25There's no pressure.
05:26Like, I just.
05:27As long as she's comfortable and I know she's good.
05:29And we both know where we stand.
05:31Then it's.
05:33And Spazia was a big offer back, too.
05:35Yeah.
05:36Spazia made it so.
05:37Comfortable and safe.
05:38Cool and just.
05:39We never felt awkward with her.
05:42She'd be like, can you guys lose a little bit more?
05:44Yeah.
05:44A little more passion.
05:45Yeah, we got it.
05:45Let's do it.
05:46Pull back a little bit, guys.
05:48Pull back?
05:49Okay, fine.
05:49Okay, go in.
05:51We need a blooper reel.
05:53We do need a blooper reel.
05:54Like, desperately.
05:55It'd be so good.
05:56What kind of other stuff would be on there?
05:58Probably me asking Asher, can I kiss you now?
06:01That's so good.
06:02Can I kiss you now?
06:03Can I kiss you now?
06:03Yeah.
06:04We're rehearsing.
06:04Can I kiss you now?
06:05Is that fine?
06:06Are you good?
06:06Okay.
06:07And then me, Hailey, and Rashawn just.
06:09Yeah.
06:10Being funny and silly and.
06:12During takes, yeah.
06:13A lot of us singing all the time.
06:15Oh, yeah.
06:15Singing, dancing.
06:16We all sing.
06:17Eating our beaver tails, maybe, between takes.
06:19Yes.
06:20Maybe a little beaver tail.
06:22Snacking.
06:23A beaver tail.
06:24It's a dessert, but it's like a.
06:26It's like a doughier funnel cake, but you, people put Nutella and like lemon and all
06:31this like different stuff on it, so.
06:33It'll change your life.
06:33It's an Ottawa delicacy.
06:35Yeah.
06:35A little, little Canada delicacy.
06:37Yeah.
06:37Okay.
06:38All right.
06:39Well, when I next get over that, I will try a beaver, what is it?
06:43Beaver tail.
06:43First thing you got to do.
06:45Beaver tail.
06:46All right.
06:48Good luck with the film.
06:49I enjoyed it so much.
06:50Like, it's such, it's so much fun.
06:52Great to chat to you guys.
06:54Have a good one.
06:54You too.
06:54Thank you so much.
06:55Have a great day.
06:56Have a good one.
06:57Bye now.
