New research suggests more people across Great Britain are drinking less alcohol or not drinking at all, particularly younger adults. Have your drinking habits or those of people you know changed over the last few years?

00:00I think I'm drinking about the same, you know, like a glass of wine with a meal.
00:06I'm not a huge drinker, but, you know, I do enjoy it.
00:10I'm not about to give it up, and I didn't do dry January either.
00:13I'm not a big drinker anyway, so mine have stayed the same.
00:19If I go out, I'll have two glasses of wine, and that's my loss.
00:24I think people's drinking habits have changed,
00:29although some people still go to the pub and all the rest of it.
00:32Lots of people don't now.
00:34Mine has, to be honest with you, on a personal level, like, you know, I've got bowel cancer.
00:39So what I've done is, especially with being a diabetes too,
00:44I was warned, like, you know, I'll carry on, carry on, you know, I might be eating something else.
00:49But, unfortunately, I have non-alcohol beers now.
00:53You know, some of the older ones do tend to be knocking it back more, you know.
