00:00BBC TV reported on Thursday that police had arrested King Charles' younger brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
00:08on suspicion of misconduct in public office over his links to Jeffrey Epstein.
00:13Earlier newspapers reported that six unmarked police cars and around eight plain-clothed officers
00:19had arrived at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate in eastern England earlier on Thursday.
00:25Thames Valley Police said earlier this month,
00:27officers were considering allegations that Mountbatten-Windsor had passed confidential government documents to the late sex offender,
00:35according to files recently released by the U.S. government.
00:39Mountbatten-Windsor has always denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein
00:43and said he regrets their friendship but has not responded to requests for comment since the latest release of documents.
00:50The U.S. Justice Department last month released the latest cache of so-called Epstein files,
00:56more than three million documents, photos and videos related to its investigation into sex criminal Epstein
01:02who died from what was determined to be suicide while in custody in 2019.
