00:02Fulton County, Georgia is now accusing the Justice Department of misleading a judge to get a search
00:08warrant for 2020 election ballots seized last month. In a new court filing, county officials
00:15say the FBI left out key context, including the fact that the claims used to justify the raid
00:20had already been investigated. The filing argues the FBI's affidavit failed to establish probable
00:27cause and, quote, does nothing more than describe the types of human errors that its own sources
00:32confirm occur in almost every election without any intentional wrongdoing whatsoever. It also notes
00:39the investigation began with a referral from Kurt Olson, a former Trump campaign lawyer now serving
00:45in the White House, who has been sanctioned by multiple courts over past election claims. County
00:50officials say the affidavit omitted that history and relied on witnesses they argue lacked election
00:57expertise. The FBI seized the ballots and records in an unannounced raid last month. A federal judge
01:03has already unsealed the warrant material and will hold a hearing next week on the county's request
01:08to have the records returned.
