00:05after previously being judged requires improvement. Inspectors examined a number of service areas run
00:13by Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust. Most were rated good however maternity
00:19services at Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in Smethwick were rated as requires
00:25improvement. The overall rating for City Health Campus in Birmingham was also requires improvement.
00:30The Trust is one of 12 included in Baroness Amos' Rapid National Maternity Review which is
00:37due out in the spring. Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust runs several hospital and
00:43community services.
