00:36xl trim is what i call the no frills package it doesn't have a single option on it under
00:42the hood is a 2.5 liter inline four-cylinder that's mated to a continuously variable transmission
00:49together they put out a respectable 191 horses and this truck will tow 2 000 pounds and carry
00:561500 pounds in the bed the exterior appearance is good except for the god-awful wheels like all
01:02mavericks it has a four and a half foot bed and it has four full doors i do like the
01:08color which is
01:09called area 51 for some reason the interior is rather plain nothing fancy but very functional
01:15the seats are cloth and comfortable and nicer than expected in this price point the seven inch gauge
01:21cluster is controlled from the steering wheel it is configurable for driver information and it'll keep
01:27you up to date on current fuel economy and range high on the dash is an eight inch touchscreen it's
01:32simple but works well you operate all audio bluetooth apps wi-fi apple carplay and android auto the center
01:41console houses a round gear shift knob and the start stop disable and traction control buttons the console
01:47has a nifty place to put your phone where you can actually see it when driving back seat room was
01:52better than expected in a small truck as was the headroom the back seat folds up and has storage
01:58underneath for valuables the pickup bed has plastic all around the edges so when you put cargo in you
02:05won't scratch the paint and the tailgate even has a built-in bottle opener the xl comes standard with power
02:11windows and locks automatic climate control automatic headlights pre-collision assist with emergency
02:18braking rear view camera and tilt wheel the maverick drives great was surprisingly quiet inside and overall
02:25quite enjoyable to drive we've got to talk fuel economy fuel economy is rated at 42 city and 33 highway
02:33but i think that might be underrated in one stretch i drove over an hour at city speeds but one
02:4110 mile
02:41stretch of highway speeds around 65 miles an hour and got 50 miles to the gallon more interestingly
02:48if you fill the 13.8 gallon fuel tank you can go 500 miles on a tank of gas i
02:55am more than impressed
02:56with the fuel economy of the hybrid maverick total msrp on my tester is get this 21 490 with transportation
03:06bottom line the fuel economy of this truck is amazing as is the price my advice is to step up
