00:00Ok.
00:01So now, let's move on to our next segment.
00:04Green is good, of course, but blue seems to be the warmest color when it comes to innovation.
00:09I'm joined live by our next guest, Daria Sobotina.
00:13You're the Administrative Secretary of the Sea Opportunity.
00:18It's a beautiful, beautiful name because your company is definitely at the crossroads of science and industry.
00:25So what you're doing is that you're offering subsea services to companies.
00:31How do you manage to actually combine your social commitment and your clients' needs for results?
00:38Good afternoon. Yes, we are emerging in the sea.
00:42Literally.
00:44Entirely.
00:45Our company was founded in 2017 in the city of Pesaro in Italy.
00:51The city of Pesaro is famous for the composer Rossini, you know.
00:58So we are on the Adriatic coast and our company, the Sea Opportunities, is involved in research and development, underwater
01:09engineering,
01:10engineering, ROV production, and mailing subsea services in ocean sustainability and blue economy.
01:20Here is our main product, ROV.
01:25Oh my God, it's incredible.
01:26A remotely operated vehicle.
01:28Yeah.
01:29And it goes underwater up to 300 meters with fiber optic umbilical cable to make any kind of subsea exploration.
01:45That's an amazing piece of technology you have out there.
01:48How did you R&D it?
01:51How did you come up with this solution?
01:55We engineer it and then we product it, we construct it.
02:01So it's our construction.
02:03It is.
02:03And we offer the services with this technology, any kind of subsea services, in the sea, in the river, in
02:11demons,
02:15for exploring waters, for exploring seabed.
02:24So this is definitely your work and this is definitely the perfect tool to see what the future of the
02:32blue economy can be.
02:34What type of costumers are you actually educating this ROV to?
02:40Our main clients are the companies that develop offshore wind farms, offshore fish farms, fish farming generally.
02:52Then we work in dams.
02:55We work in exploration of pipelines, different pipelines.
03:06These are our main work.
03:07So you're definitely to me the missing piece in the puzzle of the blue economy, of course.
03:14You're an Italian company, so of course your country owns very large coastlines.
03:19In which other seas or oceans can you actually bring this piece of technology?
03:25Yes, Italy is surrounded by the sea.
03:28It is.
03:28But we try to expand our services everywhere in the world.
03:36Now we participate in different exhibitions all over Europe for now.
03:46Recently we were in Britain, in Great Britain.
03:51Now we are here in France to…
03:57To actually bring your technology.
04:00To present our technologies, yes.
04:01To present our technologies in different seas and oceans all over the world.
04:06The ocean is definitely your playground.
04:09Thank you so much for your perspective on this future of the blue economy.
04:14Thank you so, so much.
04:16And now moving on to another total different story.
04:19For the first time here at VivaTech, the femtech industry is being given a special place with a dedicated village.
04:26The market is expected to grow by almost 70 billion dollars.
04:30A sector that is more important than ever, of course, as women continue to struggle to receive the quality healthcare
04:37they need.
