00:00Our first announcement, the launch of a truly breakthrough study
00:04that is going to lead us into a new era of ultra-personalized products and services.
00:10We're about to start recruiting thousands of individuals from across the United States
00:16into this longitudinal study of skin health across time.
00:21People will be tracked across time, people of different skin types,
00:25diverse backgrounds, lifestyles, and we'll also be studying biomarkers,
00:31the chemical signatures that help us understand the biology inside the skin cell.
00:37Then what we'll do is correlate those biomarkers with changes in the skin over time,
00:43wrinkles, aging, blemishes, and ask the question,
00:47how can we understand biomarkers and changes in, for example,
00:51your beauty routine, your lifestyle, climate, sleep, and other factors.
00:58We're now building the really complete data set for individualized and personalized beauty
01:03and planning for individualized and tailored interventions in the future.
01:08And we see the type of invitation we provide for consumers to join your study.
01:13Now, our second announcement is a project that is designed to help 2 billion people around the world
01:19who suffer from skin issues, and that adds up to around a quarter of the world's population,
01:25including a few of you sitting in the room today, I hope not,
01:27but that do not have access to a dermatologist.
01:30And it's the perfect intersection between health and beauty.
01:33How do we work together to solve people's skin issue around the world?
01:37So, as a doctor, I am acutely aware of the fact
01:42that there is an incredible relationship between skin conditions and quality of life.
01:46And, in fact, many people around the world don't have access to solutions
01:52to help them manage their skin conditions.
01:55So, we are working on, through this partnership, the development of a new platform,
02:01a platform that leverages artificial intelligence capabilities
02:05originally developed in Google Research and now brought to life
02:09or getting brought to life in the context of this platform
02:12to help people understand their skin conditions
02:15and track them across time from the convenience of their own home.
02:19Thank you, Amy.
02:20And, finally, our final project, which is something that we are both very proud of,
02:25and has been designed to bring confidence, independence, and access to beauty
02:29to 1 out of 10 adults around the world
02:33who suffer from motor issue, from hand difficulty to manipulate objects.
02:38So, that's 40 million people in the world alone.
02:41And we have created this HAPTA project, and we've done it together.
02:47If you can imagine, there's 50 million people in the world with mobility issues,
02:53whether that comes from a neurologic disorder that a person started off with at birth,
02:57or Parkinson's disease, or the after-effects of a stroke or arthritis.
03:02And so, when you have a mobility disorder, it can be hard to eat,
03:06but it can be hard to do other parts of life at the same time.
03:11Yeah, so that's why we are happy to allow Boos to showcase and introduce HAPTA,
03:15which you see on the screen, which is the first from Lancôme,
03:19the first computerized makeup applicator for those with motor issue.
03:23And I can tell you the reaction we've had all around the world,
03:25including an award at the CES, was just phenomenal.
03:28No.
