00:30I don't know if you did speak to me or not, but I'm joined with a fantastic guest now, Guillaume
00:34Poupard, the Deputy Director General of Ducaf First.
00:37Monsieur Poupard, thank you very much for being with us.
00:40You're a specialist in digital confidence in France, and we know just how important that is at the moment, experts
00:45in handling sensitive data.
00:47So can you tell us a little bit about your focus here at VivaTech this year?
00:52Well, Globally, La Poste has been a strong partner for VivaTech since the beginning.
00:56And it's very important for us to show all what we do.
01:01Everybody knows La Poste, but just a few of them know our innovativities and all the things we do.
01:08So, for example, we work a lot on digital trust, as you said.
01:10And we want to propose to business, to companies, but also to citizens some real solutions for the security of
01:19their data, of their access to digital systems.
01:22And we want to mix digital trust, digital sovereignty, and digital security.
01:30And today, we want to be a leader in this domain, and being here at VivaTech is very important to
01:34show this.
01:35And there's a lot of talk recently about NumeSpot, a French and European trusted cloud.
01:41Can you tell us a little bit about what it is and how it works, more importantly?
01:44Well, NumeSpot is very simple.
01:46It's just a secure, trusted, sovereign cloud.
01:49The goal is to say, okay, there are very well-known solutions that are very efficient, but for some applications,
01:57we cannot rely on them.
01:59Just because the legal framework is not good, and we want to have solutions that are good, that are secure,
02:07and that protect the data inside Europe.
02:10We only want, you open laws, you want rules to apply to those data.
02:14And NumeSpot is there to propose to some applications for local administrations, for example, for the education in the health
02:21sector,
02:22propose a solution where we know where the data is stored, who is able to access to those data,
02:28and we want to have this with a good level of security and availability of those data.
02:34So NumeSpot is this.
02:37It is opening.
02:38It's very new.
02:40In September, we'll have the first real offer, but we have already worked a lot with our partners,
02:46with the system, with La Banque des Territoires, with Brick Telecom, the telco operator,
02:52in order to provide something that is real.
02:54So the dream is to have a sovereign cloud at a very good level of efficiency.
02:58And Mr. Boba, you're actually going to show us a few of your products here.
03:01So let's move over to our first station.
03:03We're talking about delivery robots, autonomous sorting robots for processing packages.
03:08It's a creative, new, but what are the challenges that we face also in this digitalization?
03:15We want to test all the kinds of delivery of parcels, for example.
03:22So today we know...
03:23We can see some of them here.
03:25There are two ways.
03:27The first one is how to go, how to deliver the parcels to the citizens, to the people.
03:31And this is how to sort the parcels in our own facilities.
03:37So, of course, bots are a solution.
03:40We see that we can obtain much more efficiency with this.
03:43It can so protect people.
03:45Well, we know that it's the future, but we want to do it for real.
03:48It's not just a dream, it's a reality.
03:50And we do it with those bots.
03:51And finally, there's something even more cool.
03:54We're going to go over to the exoskeleton.
03:56So before we get there, we'll just have to go through a few people here, Marjorie.
04:00Bear with me.
04:01But the exoskeleton, talk us a little bit about the exoskeleton and how important it is going forward.
04:10Yeah, this is very important because it's a matter of efficiency, of course,
04:14but also a matter of protection of human bodies, human people.
04:22We're able to protect people, to help them doing difficult tasks.
04:27And again, this is not just a dream, it is reality today.
04:30So we work with a company, which name is German Bionics.
04:34We're able to develop with our own experience those kind of products.
04:38And I think we can see the exoskeleton here.
04:41We'll just come closer to it.
04:42So Raoul, there's the exoskeleton.
04:45So if you can start with us.
04:47It's okay.
04:48So it's a skeleton.
04:49The idea is to have it on our back.
04:52And with this, we can remove from 30 kilos.
04:58The filling when you take a parcel, the heavy parcels, it is just 30 kilos less for the people.
05:06So it's very efficient.
05:09Well, there's...
05:13Even people who have been hurted in the past can work again thanks to this.
05:17And I'm sure this is the future.
05:19We'll develop this.
05:20And it will be very good for people working at a post to be more efficient and more happy to
05:25work in our company.
05:26More efficient and getting a lot more done.
05:28Guillaume Poupard, thank you so much.
05:29That was an absolute pleasure.
05:31Marjorie, there you go.
05:32Loads of innovation and even more to come.
05:34It's back to you in the studio.
05:36Absolutely, Simon.
05:37And now let's move on to education because, yeah.
05:39We'll be right back.
05:39We'll be right back.
