00:00Yes, and we'll show you Shelfy. Thank you.
00:05Shelfy, ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much, Paolo.
00:08All right, good.
00:09They're good, practical solutions to improve our quality of lives.
00:14And this next solution is incredibly important.
00:18As we hear more and more the real gold of tomorrow,
00:23now often we hear the gold being oil or even data,
00:27but let's be honest, a very, very precious resource for all of us is clean water.
00:32And this company has real solutions in order to protect that right and that resource for us.
00:40So I'd like to welcome to the stage CEO of Agua del Sol, Luke.
00:46Pleasure.
00:55So what I'm going to tell you today is about water.
00:59And as you know, water is the most demanded, I would say, product on earth.
01:04And now it is becoming the scarcest on earth.
01:10We are all suffering in a number of countries because of water scarcity, especially fresh water.
01:18We heard about drought, about epidemias.
01:22Lots of issues are coming from water.
01:26One thing we don't know is that we have six times in the air, the water we have in the
01:33rivers and streams.
01:36Six times is in the atmosphere.
01:41But we are all looking in the ground, not there.
01:45Six times the water.
01:48And we have the sun.
01:50So now let's imagine that with that water in the atmosphere plus the sun,
01:55we can produce huge quantities of water for drinking, for irrigation, for industries.
02:05Here is just a demonstrator.
02:08This picture was taken a long time ago.
02:10What it tells you is that we can do this very simply.
02:14Let me show you.
02:17Let's assume that my smartphone is this panel.
02:22That panel is a water panel.
02:24How it works?
02:26At the bottom of the panel, you have a kind of a fan.
02:30It takes air at night.
02:33Why at night?
02:34Because you have humidity at night.
02:36So the air is taken at night inside the panel.
02:40And in the panels, you have tubes.
02:42They are micro-perforated tubes.
02:44And in these tubes, you have what we call an adsorbent.
02:49An adsorbent will capture molecules of water.
02:52We'll fix them.
02:54So this panel is going to be full of water at the end of the night.
02:59Atmospheric water.
03:02We will wait till next day, till the sun comes out.
03:06And the sun will heat the panel.
03:10Temperature inside the panel will shoot up.
03:14120 degrees.
03:16What happens, these molecules of water are going to vaporize.
03:21It's going to be vapor.
03:23And vapor will condense under the glass of this panel.
03:28Because the glass is colder than the inside of the panel.
03:32So by condensation, these vapors will become droplets.
03:38And these droplets will run, as you can see from that picture.
03:43Water will run under the glass and reach the bottom of the panel where you have a tank or any
03:51kind of container.
03:53So you can produce fresh water out of air, thanks to the sun.
04:00This water is too pure to be drunk.
04:04This water is sterile and demineralized.
04:08That's why we will mineralize the water, so we achieve a taste.
04:11That is the taste we should have when we drink mineral water.
04:16As simple as that.
04:17This is based on the laws of physics, not on mechanics, not on chemicals.
04:22This is based on the laws of Mother Nature.
04:26So at the end, we produce fresh water.
04:28But we can also produce other types of water.
04:33Water for irrigation and water for the food and beverage industry.
04:39Why?
04:39Because these industries, they need quality water.
04:43They cannot use tap water.
04:45This water has to be clean and super clean.
04:48So we can produce naturally water for mankind, for industries, and for irrigation.
05:00One panel is very simple.
05:02It's about 1 meter over 70 centimeters.
05:05And it will produce approximately 1.2 liters per day.
05:09This means that if you need 10 liters, you would buy 8 panels.
05:15If you need to produce 2,000 liters, you would buy 1,500 panels.
05:21So the matter is scalability.
05:23As many panels as you need water.
05:26Exactly like photovoltaic panels.
05:29It depends what you need.
05:31And then you can deploy the panels.
05:35The good thing is, we need no electricity.
05:38We need no water.
05:39These panels are fully autonomous.
05:42So we take the panels.
05:44We install the panels.
05:46Next day, you produce the water.
05:48So definitely, you can imagine that this is for countries where you don't have much water.
05:53And there are many countries like this, including 1,000 France and 1,000 Europe.
05:58So it happens that 70% of the population will, at some point, be scarce of water.
06:07In terms of the impact, of course, we produce water.
06:10But at the same time, we eliminate plastic.
06:13If you produce your own water at home, you will not buy plastic bottled water.
06:20Because to buy these bottles, you have to move, you have to transport, you have to store, and you have
06:26to pay a price.
06:27The price of a plastic bottle, on average, is 25 cents a euro.
06:31And we produce water at 5 cents a euro.
06:34So five times less expensive for a water that is totally carbon-free.
06:40This is possible with Mother Nature.
06:48So we will play the video now.
06:50You will see how it is working the whole cycle, and how we produce this water.
06:56This has been shot in Morocco, where we are scarce of water, as you can imagine.
07:28That is the adsorbent.
07:30These bottles are adsorbents.
07:37That is a great puzzle.
07:39Now Mr. N warum are desperate.
07:40Come on anyone.
07:43I don't like it.
07:45I have no idea what's going on, I have no idea what you're doing.
07:50If that is what I have.
07:52I have no idea what I want.
07:52It's not even true.
08:00I can't decide what the data did, but I have to do wrong.
