01:08One person here that loves wearing a headset.
01:11So, while people like to experience virtual experiences,
01:16they don't like actually wearing a headset on their face.
01:19And that's what we are solving.
01:22Brellion is a Silicon Valley based startup
01:24that's introducing new virtual displays category.
01:28Now, this new category gives you a large field of view and also depth,
01:35but it doesn't require you to wear any headsets.
01:38So, we are at booth J61 and you can actually experience our product.
01:42But let me explain a little bit more about what is our vision
01:46and how we are shaping the future of metaverse or virtual reality.
01:51So, in order to make a virtual experience sticky and sort of functional,
01:58you need to have three key elements.
02:00Comfort, performance and immersion.
02:03Today, headsets, they give you a lot of immersion,
02:07but they don't give you comfort and performance.
02:10Flat monitors, they give you comfort and performance,
02:13but they don't give you immersion.
02:15So, at Brellion, we are introducing these new categories of displays
02:20that play with the properties of the light
02:23to give you that panorama and sense of depth
02:27so that you can have both elements of immersion and comfort and performance.
02:33We believe that even when Apple headsets goes out and becomes more polished,
02:38maybe two or three years from now,
02:40only 20% of the market would want to wear a headset on their face.
02:44So, we are creating an alternative way, an alternative platform
02:48to experience the metaverse without the headsets.

02:57So, this is our first introduction of the ultra-reality,
03:01a headset-less virtual monitor.
03:09I've been working in computational optics for 15 years.
03:13I have designed and invented many different display and imaging technologies during my career.
03:18And this is definitely one of the most exciting products I've ever worked on with my team.
03:24The Brellion Ultra-Reality is the world's first headset-free virtual monitor.
03:31The idea behind ultra-reality is that if you can access the light at micro-radiant level at sufficient angular
03:39range,
03:39you can start to emulate virtual experiences without the need to wear headsets.
03:46For over a century, cinema has transported us to entirely new worlds.
03:50What if we could bring that larger-than-life experience to your desk?
03:54How would that change PC gaming and your desktop experience?
03:59When we saw gamers' reactions firsthand, that's when we knew we were up to something.
04:05The future of the internet is not just about achieving a sense of presence and immersion,
04:09but also boosting functionality.

04:47I never forget when I first experienced our deep monocular depth in that breathtaking 110-degree panorama.
04:56When I could see the sun setting deep in the horizon and the light being caught by the leaves at
05:01the foreground.
05:02That was a very emotional moment for me.
05:05All right, so that's Ultra-Reality.
05:08I hope that you guys come over and experience it at J61.
05:12It's the world's first virtual monitor.
05:14We want to imagine a future where you don't have to wear a headset, a goggle eight hours a day
05:19every day.
05:20So come over there, give us feedback, tell us what you want to see more of.
05:24Now let's talk a little bit about an array of products.
05:28Our technology allows us to do wavefront engineering in large-scale apertures.
05:33To explain that in simpler terms, basically this is playing with the curvature of the light at a very, very
05:40fine level.
05:41And because we can change the light in that level, that's much, much more comfortable to the eye
05:46compared to any other 3D display or headsets you have experienced.
05:50So we have a set of products coming up and the applications are all the way from enterprise.
05:56For example, for simulation training, simulation racing, high-end gaming application,
06:02all the way to replacing multi monitors in a small form factor.
06:06One of the advantages that you get with virtual displays is that you can actually replace multi monitor setups
06:13in a much smaller form factor.
06:15So the product that you see at the middle, that actually gives you a 122 inch virtual image.
06:22So that's a 122 inch monitor on your desk, which is simply not possible to do with any other display.
06:30I have to mention that Lockheed Martin and LG is also two of our investors.
06:35So we're working with those companies to actually scale this up eventually to consumer product as well.
06:41And finally, we are putting out a smaller version and also an automotive solution,
06:46a multi focal displays for behind the wheel.
06:49So I'm really excited about bringing this Wavefront engineering technology
06:53to all sorts of display experiences around the world.
06:58Finally, of course, this is not the end.
07:00It's not just about a 122 inch virtual monitor.
07:03This is now an 8K, 155 degree field of view virtual monitor.
07:11This is the first of its kind, kind of like the Lamborghini of this place.
07:16And we showcase this at CES.
07:18We don't have it here in the booth, but we have the standard model.
07:22So this one uses a camera array and also a display array to give you a surround visual experience,
07:31all without having to wear a headset.
07:33So without further ado, I'd like to also introduce this product as well.
