سورۃ البقرہ آیت 183 میں اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں:
“يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ…”
اس آیت میں روزے کی فرضیت اور اس کا مقصد بیان کیا گیا ہے — تاکہ ہم تقویٰ حاصل کریں۔
