02:41We were really shocked by the very low numbers of women entrepreneurs
02:49And we really wanted to put on stage role models to put more women
02:54And we were like looking at them
02:56But we don't have enough
02:58So that's why we decided to implement a quota of 40% of women on stage
03:05To promote role models in tech
03:07That's also why we've decided on the Saturday
03:11Which is our general public day
03:13When we welcome families, young people, students

43:33dollars so can you tell us
43:35probably a little bit more about how you did it and who are your investors
43:39sure so um i think what's important when you raising your seed round or any round
43:45really is to try to build that trust with investors you cannot get out there and in three
43:51weeks expect people to say hey i like your pitch i like your company i trust the team i'm gonna
43:55advance and so what we did and i think that's definitely an advice that i would i would give
44:00everyone was to very early on onboard all the investors on the newsletter and give them this you know
44:07feedback monthly feedback so they get to know each other so they get to know us trust us
44:14and so the day we started the seed round we were a company they were familiar with and i think
44:19that that was why white star capital which was our lead investor
44:25really in four weeks after we we started the seed round put a term sheet and they helped us build
44:33a beautiful round we have bpi friends we have con base we have
44:37hashed sysquana a bunch of international investors so yeah we're very exciting
44:44very exciting yeah fantastic so um we we hear a lot that you know there are not so many women
44:50in tech
44:50we're always trying to move into the right direction to attract more women founders and sometimes
44:57even uh even though they are trying to do something they don't put themselves forward so we don't know them
45:03and they you know what what can you tell those women right you are the proof that actually women can
45:08raise money and a lot of money
45:10so what is your advice to all those women out there who are ceos and co-founders who are launching
45:16their business what would you like to tell them
45:18i think the biggest difference between men and women in the beginning is that men day one take themselves
45:24very seriously they arrive with an idea that is some sometime genius sometime basic but they own it it's their
45:32idea they believe in it 100%
45:34women don't take themselves seriously and so the first advice i would say day one you're in charge you're in
45:42power you can do it take yourself seriously
45:44so people can trust you right and people can can can actually start you can embark them with you
45:51and i think that's the first first main difference and it goes back to education we don't have time to
45:56talk about that
45:57but then after it's it's making sure that you don't you don't put to yourself constraint that other will put
46:07you right
46:08women tend to excuse themselves then to arrive i think i'm not sure doubt a lot
46:13this this this these are things that you know when you're in in front of an investor you need to
46:18remove all that
46:19and so this is why yes there's some improvement to to be made there's some education to be made
46:25but data and investors are making more and more data driven decision show that
46:32startups that are let led by women are actually more successful than startups that are led by men
46:39so they need to empower themselves with those metrics all right i think uh if you have investors
46:44in this room the message is loud and clear all right so i would like to know on a more
46:49personal note
46:50what was the trigger for you when you say women out there they shouldn't be looking for excuses
46:56and go for it and believe in yourself for you what was the trigger was it like a natural thing
47:01when you created your business no it was not that true it's it's it's so
47:07i discovered the pain point of defense and to me it was obvious that i needed to do something about
47:12it
47:13your market opportunity was too big and and i really believe that had the right solution
47:17so that is something you know you have it you you don't have it but once you have it it's
47:22a it's a drive
47:23it's it's a it's a strength but i had to fight my my uh i would say natural uh natural
47:31um instinct to
47:33excuse myself to be to be to be also um yeah less in charge than than a man would have
47:40been right
47:40so it's it's it's constant battle it's remembering that once again you are the ceo of that company
47:48so actually going to investors is the same as going to get your clients you should not behave
47:55differently you should be still concurrent about it and so this is a yeah it's not natural it's it's
48:02not natural it's something that you learn it's it's a learning curve it's a process any any any tips
48:07for you know those out there of things that you can tell them very in a concrete way things that
48:13can
48:13help them to be in charge what can you say it's it's little by little right so i i don't
48:19know if
48:19i have i have one concrete uh tip in except that i think it's the first one take yourself seriously
48:27right so you've decided to change your life upside down for that idea because you believed in it
48:34so now there should be no one no excuse you should go and fight for it and i think it's
48:41more of this
48:42spirit you should be you should you should enable yourself with then than a practical tip um yeah
48:48and now now that you've raised a lot of money and you're growing your business how do your peers
48:54look at you i mean as a as a female founder who's successful what what what are the feedback that

49:00get so so i have i have not that many peers woman ceo in crypto in cyber security uh there
49:10there are
49:10there are not that many of us um but but we do gather as women ceo i'm part of the
49:17female from a
49:18female fellowship also at station f and honestly it's amazing to be surrounded by so many inspiring
49:25women and when when that's that's my belief i may be a bit biased but when women are successful and
49:35in in in power and when women do things right they're unbelievable and it's true that uh uh it's
49:42um it's such uh it's such an amazing time to be in our position because we know that if you
49:51do things
49:51right people will value your work as it was not valued for the past you know 40 years recognized so
