00:00:00Mesdames et Messieurs, Mesdames, bonjour !
00:00:03Welcome to The Pitch Studio.
00:00:06Here we are, here we are in the heart, literally in the heart of VivoTech 2022.
00:00:12The sun is shining, it's a warm, warm day.
00:00:16We're having fun, aren't we? Yes, we are.
00:00:18We can't, we're trying to keep our excitement down,
00:00:21but we're about to hear some fantastic big ideas
00:00:24because here at The Pitch Studio, this is what this is all about.
00:00:27Big ideas, fresh ideas, innovation, inspiration, curiosity,
00:00:31sharing with you a little bit about what they're doing
00:00:35to help you feel inspired to even perhaps start a conversation
00:00:39and take those ideas forward together.
00:00:43Right, again, so if you've already joined us this morning,
00:00:45you would have heard so many accelerators,
00:00:49global accelerators, sharing with you two minutes
00:00:52why you as a start-up or investor should join their program.
00:00:57What we're going to hear from now is 32, 32 start-ups,
00:01:02hand-picked start-ups from those global accelerators,
00:01:06they're going to do exactly the same.
00:01:08Stand on this stage, share with you two minutes, up to two minutes,
00:01:12no more, no more than two minutes, to why perhaps you should collaborate them,
00:01:17why you should start a conversation with them and hopefully get you intrigued
00:01:21and curious to start perhaps a conversation and take that forward as well.
00:01:27Before we go any further, quickly introduce myself.
00:01:29My name is Peter Hopwood.
00:01:31I'm a storytelling coach and pitch coach,
00:01:34so I help start-ups, companies, individuals to help them share their stories
00:01:39in the right way to make the right connection and impact as well.
00:01:43I'm intrigued as much as you are to really hear what these start-ups have to share
00:01:48and probably even more intrigued to see how they do it in just two minutes.
00:01:53Two minutes, you can't really do anything.
00:01:55Well, you can do many things in two minutes.
00:01:57You can't boil an egg, I've been told, because it's three minutes,
00:01:59but many other things you can.
00:02:01Let's see and hear if the start-ups, global start-ups, can do that right here.
00:02:06Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage the very first start-up of 32.
00:02:11So remember, this is fast, it's furious, it's short, it's sweet,
00:02:15it's everything you could imagine and everything in between.
00:02:17Let's hear from our first start-up, very simply called Ecofee.
00:02:31Making sure it's working?
00:02:33Hi everyone, my name is Daniela and I'm the CEO and co-founder of Ecofee.
00:02:38And at Ecofee, we help fast-moving consumer goods companies to reduce and measure the impact,
00:02:44but it really matters.
00:02:45Imagine this, you were just appointed to become the Sustainability Chief Officer of your company
00:02:51and you pledged to reduce emissions by half by 2030.
00:02:54What will you do about this?
00:02:57Of course, you can focus on the easiest first step, which is car sharing initiative,
00:03:02of course, switching your energy supplier, or even reduce your business travel.
00:03:07But just this won't get you to your goal.
00:03:09We need to focus on the elephant in the room, which is supply chain.
00:03:13Supply chains represent over 80% of emissions of the total emissions of the fast-moving consumer goods companies.
00:03:20And supply chains are complex and hard to monitor.
00:03:23Currently, companies measure their emissions within supply chains manually, which is time-consuming, costly, and inaccurate.
00:03:31Our technology allows companies to measure emissions real-time using APIs and IoT sensors.
00:03:38And we get this information straight from the source.
00:03:41Getting information straight from the source reduces inaccuracies by 90%, and we allow companies to take control on their decarbonization
00:03:50strategy.
00:03:51Our platform then automatically suggests a set of solutions for them also to improve their impact with the information we
00:03:59gather initially.
00:04:00So, for example, better raw material sourcing.
00:04:04And because we believe collaboration and transparency are vital to reduce this climate crisis,
00:04:09we want to allow this real-time supply chain monitor for our next future for companies to trade waste between
00:04:16industries.
00:04:17All of this coordinated by machine learning.
00:04:19To develop the better version of our platform, we won an Innovate UK grant, and we also won an award
00:04:26with Lamborghini, which secures a pilot project with them.
00:04:30And I'm happy to say, we just onboarded one of the largest FMCG companies to our platform.
00:04:37Thank you so much and enjoy sunny France.
00:04:39Don't be shy and come and talk to us.
00:04:41Don't be shy and come and talk to us.
00:04:43That's the way off the stage.
00:04:45Wonderful.
00:04:45Don't be shy.
00:04:47Are you shy?
00:04:48Some are.
00:04:49Some are.
00:04:49Hey, we can be shy.
00:04:50That's good.
00:04:51We can still have a conversation.
00:04:52Ladies and gentlemen, again, remember, if you've just joined us, this is the Pitch Studio.
00:04:56Le Pitch Studio.
00:04:57Call it what you like.
00:04:58It's a studio full of pitches.
00:05:0032, in fact, right now, because we're hearing from 32 startups sharing their big ideas right now in just two
00:05:07minutes, short and sweet, to get you curious, to get you less shy, and to get you having a conversation
00:05:15together.
00:05:16Ladies and gentlemen, our next startup right now, very simply, is called Fischer.
00:05:24Hi, everyone.
00:05:26I'm Vincent, CEO of Fischer, and today I'll speak about one of the biggest economical and ecological challenges our planet
00:05:36is facing.
00:05:37Waste.
00:05:39As you know, waste is drastically increasing on our planet.
00:05:42And at the same time, waste management companies and public authorities have increased objectives in increasing the recycling rate.
00:05:51France want to reach 100% of recycled plastic in 2025.
00:05:58But these actors have a big problem of transparency on the waste management.
00:06:03They are not able of understanding what's the behavior and at the same time detecting errors that are costing a
00:06:11lot.
00:06:12In Fischer, we are seeing that it's impossible to optimize a resource that you cannot even measure.
00:06:19To reduce this lack of transparency, we are bringing an end-to-end solution, computer vision one, with AI and
00:06:29machine learning from recycling bin to the sorting center to give our customer key data on quantity and the quality
00:06:39of sorting, but at the same time detecting errors that are costing a lot.
00:06:44We are helping this actor to fulfill their objective and optimize waste management.
00:06:51We are a team of eight people working in the European Silicon Valley, Grenoble, collaborating with the best French laboratory
00:07:00on AI and machine learning.
00:07:02And we are working with most of the waste management companies in France as Veolia or Suez.
00:07:09We are now looking for a 1 million euro round in order to accelerate our business development and become a
00:07:16leader in this changing technology.
00:07:19We have already secured 400k euro and I will be really glad to speak with you after this event or
00:07:27you can even reach me at vincent.fisher.fr.
00:07:31Thank you very much.
00:07:31Thank you so much. Just turn around that way there. Wonderful. Again, he's just said it there. Again, it's all
00:07:36about those conversations. You hear the startup here. You're intrigued. You're curious. You'd like to know more.
00:07:42You maybe even want to challenge the startup or you may be even skeptical and completely disagree with what they're
00:07:48doing or what they're trying to share. Talk to them and start that conversation.
00:07:52I'm not actually telling you to talk to the startups and tell them all the bad things they're doing, although
00:07:58that might help to help them move forward.
00:08:00Anyway, let's move on. Next startup right now, very simply, is called Fingreen.
00:08:12Hello, everyone. Hello, hello, hello. I'm Louis. I'm the CEO of Fingreen AI and I'm personally very proud to see
00:08:20so many climate tech startups this year.
00:08:23At Fingreen, the environmental problem that we're trying to address is greenwashing. Greenwashing is what is preventing trillions of dollars
00:08:33to flow towards truly sustainable company.
00:08:36At Fingreen, we've created a unique solution where you can assess instantly and transparently the ESG impact of every single
00:08:46company in the world, from the smallest of startups to the largest of public entities.
00:08:52Now, this is extremely useful for many use cases like ESG due diligence, ESG compliance, or even gamified portfolio analysis.
00:09:02Our technology is based around two main pillars.
00:09:06The first one, explainable AI data model estimations. And the second one, our own programming language that we created to
00:09:15translate and automate all ESG standards and regulations around the world.
00:09:20Now, the biggest problem in the ESG industry has always been transparency, or rather, the lack of it. At Fingreen,
00:09:30transparency is at the core of every single thing that we do.
00:09:34We are one of the only companies in the world with an open source data referential. As well, every single
00:09:41one of our estimation is fully traceable and fully transparent.
00:09:46Now, we're an extremely, extremely young startup. We just joined the ASHA Incubator only a month ago. And right now,
00:09:54we're finalizing our pre-seed round with investors such as Plug and Play and Kima Ventures.
00:09:59But we're still actively looking for funding. So if you are an investor in this room, or if you are
00:10:04watching this, you know that ESG is no longer a nice to have. And you need a tailored tool to
00:10:12help you make your investment decisions.
00:10:15That's why we were created. So reach out to us. Thank you very much.
00:10:19That's right. That's why you were created. Absolutely right. We move on to our next startup. Remember again, you just
00:10:27joined us. This is the startup pitch. Sorry, this is the pitch studio full of overflowing with ideas, big ideas,
00:10:34fresh ideas, inspiration, and giving you curiosity to hopefully start a conversation with the people that are sharing their ideas
00:10:42here on stage.
00:10:43We move on now to our next startup. Remember, two minutes, up to two minutes, no more. Two minutes. Here
00:10:50we go. Next startup is Heliorek.
00:11:05Hello, everyone. Oh, I'm Paulina. Most of my life, I mix it in pumped cement in the middle of Siberia.
00:11:12I work at an oil and gas, but I was brave enough to change my career path from black side
00:11:18to green side. And I founded Heliorek. Let's get started.
00:11:22We want to tackle three problems. Greenhouse gas emissions. We need to cut it as fast as possible. Land scarcity.
00:11:29And electricity cost is very high in many European locations.
00:11:32With our solution, we place solar panels on the water and near shore where half of global population live. We
00:11:41generate clean energy. We don't occupy a land space and cost of our system twice less than electricity from the
00:11:48grid.
00:11:49We have several innovative features. First one, hydrologue. We invented and patented hydrologue. It helps to keep system stable and
00:11:58robust.
00:11:58Our system already was installed in Belgium. And the system could survive wind speed more than 100 kilometers an hour.
00:12:07As well, we are using circular economy approach.
00:12:09It helps reduce system costs and carbon footprint. And as well, we implemented machine learning algorithms, which help us to
00:12:19optimize operation and maintenance.
00:12:23I still have some time to speak. So we in Techstars accelerator, we already secured sit round. Now we are
00:12:34opening for more money. So join us in this adventure.
00:12:39And also, if your uncle works in ports, utility companies or any companies near the shore location, let them know
00:12:47about our solution. And we can install our innovative floating solar power plants. Thank you.
00:12:54Fabulous. That's the way, just that way off stage. Fantastic. There we are. You can hear it's fast. It's furious.
00:13:01It's short. Those four go together. Fast, furious, short and sweet, right?
00:13:04It's actually so fast. Those of you online, I know exactly how you're feeling right now. I know some of
00:13:11you want to go to the bathroom. Some of you want to grab a coffee, grab a drink.
00:13:15You can't do that because we're going two minutes and going fast and furious all the way through. But good
00:13:19news. Good news for you online and good news for everybody here as well.
00:13:23All of this will be recorded. It is recorded right now. Whether you're watching this right now in a few
00:13:29days, it will be online.
00:13:30So you can watch absolutely every single word, hear every single pitch again and make your own choices and decisions.
00:13:36And hopefully, hopefully contact the startups, accelerators and investors when they do their pitches later on if you're interested.
00:13:44We move on now to the next startup, which is called Lizzie.
00:13:54Hi. Hi, everyone. So my name is Anna. You need to remember me because I have a very nice dress.
00:14:02All right. I'm the CEO of Lizzie.
00:14:05And I would like to know if you know that you can sleep in a sleeping bag that has already
00:14:13been used multiple times.
00:14:15Would you be ready to do that? Would you be ready to do that?
00:14:19Because I just look at the young one because if you are more than 30 years old, you will never
00:14:25do that.
00:14:27All right. So you can sleep on a sleeping bag that has already been used.
00:14:31You rent it with Decathlon, with Gospor, with Vauder, with a lot of huge companies we are working with.
00:14:38They are doing it very, very big. They are doing it with our software because we are doing a software
00:14:46from the logistic to the customer service.
00:14:50So what we are doing, we are the best software to transform this world into a more secular world.
00:15:01And we are doing it very well. And we are Lizzie. And I'm finished because you are going to rent
00:15:07it.
00:15:07I know. I rent my dress. I rent my sleeping bag. And you are going to rent everything you use.
00:15:12Thank you very much.
00:15:14Thank you so much. That way. You go off that way. That's right.
00:15:17And I must say I will never forget you because of your dress.
00:15:21You have, ladies and gentlemen, do you agree, the most beautiful dress we've seen here?
00:15:25Maybe not in Vivotech, but the most beautiful dress we've seen here on the stage.
00:15:31Would you agree? I'm sure you would. I'm sure you would.
00:15:35I will never forget you. Beautiful dress.
00:15:37We move on to our next startup very simply called Navozemi.
00:15:53Imagine having to wait up to 12 hours before filling up the tank of your car.
00:15:58Isn't that ridiculous?
00:16:00That's the reality that vessels face today in port during bunkering.
00:16:04Bunkering is the operation of supplying fuel oil to a vessel.
00:16:08There are more than 1 million bunkering operations happening every year globally.
00:16:13And each one costs more than half a million dollars.
00:16:16All these vessels waiting in port generate more than 1.4 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions.
00:16:23That's the same as having 300,000 cars waiting in traffic 24 hours for one year.
00:16:30The reason for these delays is the lack of real-time data and coordination.
00:16:34We've personally experienced these issues on board the ship.
00:16:37And we want to solve it with EndBunker.
00:16:40A solution built by our team of maritime experts, venture builders and deep tech professionals.
00:16:47EndBunker is a digital platform that enables real-time data interchange.
00:16:51It uses blockchain technology to secure the data and AI to optimize the waiting time port.
00:16:57With EndBunker, we promote circularity and decarbonization by reducing port congestion,
00:17:03which in turn reduces unnecessary fuel burn and greenhouse gas emissions.
00:17:08This is a massive business opportunity with a market size of 1.3 billion US dollars
00:17:14and an expected return on investment of 40x.
00:17:18This model is scalable because it is a platform as a service and resilient
00:17:23because we have a diversified base of customers.
00:17:25and the support of the port authorities.
00:17:28We've already begun piloting this solution with the two leading ports in Spain
00:17:32and we have four others waiting to try our product.
00:17:35We are on a mission to decarbonize the global maritime industry.
00:17:39Would you like to join us?
00:17:43You bet we would.
00:17:45You bet we would.
00:17:46As you go off stage, I've started looking at people, what they're wearing now.
00:17:49I will never forget you because of your blue, not blue suede shoes, your brown suede shoes.
00:17:54Right.
00:17:55We move on.
00:17:57Brown suede shoes.
00:17:58Anyway, we move on to our next startup right now.
00:18:01Again, if you've just joined us, walking past, looking at this area, it's overflowing, it's packed.
00:18:07You're wondering what on earth is happening here.
00:18:0932 of the best leading startups from more than 16 global startups
00:18:15handpicked to share their idea up to two minutes with you,
00:18:19getting you curious, getting you intrigued
00:18:20and getting you hopefully to start a conversation with them to take that forward.
00:18:25We move on now to our next startup, very simply called S-Lab.
00:18:37Hi, everyone.
00:18:38I'm Julia and I'm CEO and co-founder of S-Lab.
00:18:42Have you ever thought that durability of packaging is hundreds of years
00:18:47when the products in it might last for a few minutes?
00:18:50In S-Lab, we believe that it is time to rethink materials that we use
00:18:55and we created a truly green packaging that consists of only two plant-based components,
00:19:01which are hemp and mitzillium.
00:19:03Mitzillium is a mushroom root.
00:19:05And once we mix it with hemp, it starts to bind everything together
00:19:09and we get a very strong and reliable material that can replace plastic and styrofoam.
00:19:15This packaging is 100% biodegradable.
00:19:19After the usage, it will fully decompose in just 30 days.
00:19:22Just imagine packaging that will never end up on the landfills.
00:19:28Just the styrofoam packaging market is worth $13 billion.
00:19:32And the market of the sustainable packaging keeps growing 9% each year.
00:19:38But the main problem with all the alternative materials
00:19:41is that they still cannot be produced and distributed in the industrial scale.
00:19:46But guess what?
00:19:48We have unlocked scalability with a simple solution
00:19:51where we have mini factories that are placed into the 40-foot containers.
00:19:56And those containers are set up at the customer's premises.
00:20:00And that's where packaging is produced.
00:20:02And this way, we make sure that a truly good packaging
00:20:06is available at any location in the world.
00:20:09We already have recurring customers.
00:20:11We collected LOIs and working on a pilot project with big companies.
00:20:15So product is already on the market.
00:20:17And we started raising our pre-seed round.
00:20:20And you still can join it.
00:20:21So come and talk to me after the show.
00:20:23Thank you very much.
00:20:24I'm Julia from ASLAB.
00:20:25Fantastic.
00:20:27Absolutely fantastic.
00:20:28There we are.
00:20:29Again, another starter.
00:20:30We got 32.
00:20:31That's right.
00:20:3232 big ideas on this stage right now,
00:20:35sharing with you here in the heart of Vivitech.
00:20:38And you, naturally, wherever you are in the world,
00:20:39looking at this from wherever you are.
00:20:42It's warm here.
00:20:43It's sunny here.
00:20:45It's passionate here.
00:20:47We've got it all here.
00:20:48Hopefully, we bring in a little bit of this to you
00:20:50wherever you are in the world.
00:20:53We move on now to our next start-up,
00:20:55very simply called Aircision.
00:21:03Hello.
00:21:06Hello, I'm Betsy Lindsay.
00:21:08I'm the CFO and co-founder of Aircision.
00:21:10We think it's crazy that in 2022,
00:21:1440.5% of the world is still unconnected.
00:21:17Rural broadband connectivity is a really big part of that.
00:21:21And we, at Aircision, we want to change that.
00:21:24We're building space-grade telecommunication systems
00:21:28using lasers to connect antennas
00:21:30in the backhaul of telecommunications.
00:21:32And we do that effectively from a cost perspective,
00:21:35but also sustainability.
00:21:38So we introduced our first product this next January.
00:21:43It's called the Blackbird.
00:21:45It does 10 gigabits per second over 5 kilometers.
00:21:48And we believe that that is twice
00:21:50what radiofrequency can do today.
00:21:53Don't get me started on fiber optics.
00:21:55Fiber optics takes too long.
00:21:57I mean, it's been around for 30 years,
00:21:58and the world is still not connected.
00:22:00And the big problem here is that
00:22:02when people aren't connected,
00:22:03they don't have access to education,
00:22:05and they don't have access to prosperity.
00:22:07We want to change that.
00:22:09Where are we now today?
00:22:11We are testing with two of the largest telecoms
00:22:16here in Europe,
00:22:18and we are starting a new research project
00:22:22with the TNO Space Labs
00:22:24in the Netherlands,
00:22:26where we'll do 100 gigabits per second
00:22:27in the next two years.
00:22:29That's 750 homes that can be connected
00:22:31quickly and efficiently and cheaply.
00:22:35So thank you very much.
00:22:37We are trying to knock down
00:22:39the three sustainable development goals,
00:22:41nine, four, and two,
00:22:43and we need $2 million to do that.
00:22:45So please come see me after the show,
00:22:48and I'd like to talk with you.
00:22:49Thank you.
00:22:50Fabulous.
00:22:50Fabulous.
00:22:51Thank you so much.
00:22:52Again, remember, two ways.
00:22:53Two ways you can start these conversations.
00:22:56Again, online, on the web app.
00:22:58Everybody's sharing their ideas here on stage.
00:23:00You can find everybody there on the web app.
00:23:03Find them.
00:23:03Connect with them.
00:23:04If you're online,
00:23:05connect with them maybe over LinkedIn as well.
00:23:07But easiest way,
00:23:08if you're here,
00:23:09easiest way,
00:23:09grab them straight afterwards,
00:23:10have a chat,
00:23:12exchange details,
00:23:12have a coffee,
00:23:13whatever you want to do,
00:23:14but start the conversation right here.
00:23:16We move on now to the next startup.
00:23:19Very simply,
00:23:20next startup is called Alpha 10X.
00:23:26Good morning, everyone.
00:23:29So every improvement to the way we live
00:23:31comes through innovation, right?
00:23:33And every innovation starts
00:23:35by making the right investments.
00:23:37Investment and innovation
00:23:38represents trillions of dollars
00:23:40a year,
00:23:41and a large proportion of it is lost.
00:23:4470% of M&A transactions fail.
00:23:46I've heard it twice today in this stage.
00:23:5090% of VC-backed startup fail as well.
00:23:53Why?
00:23:54Complexity is the problem.
00:23:56You, as decision makers,
00:23:58like the tools to decode
00:24:00and navigate the increasing amount of data.
00:24:02We're now in a deep tech world,
00:24:04in AI, quantum computing,
00:24:07nanotech,
00:24:08and it's very hard, right?
00:24:09So that's why at Alpha 10X,
00:24:11we offer an AI platform
00:24:13for innovation investment
00:24:14that shapes billions of data points,
00:24:17companies, people,
00:24:19investment,
00:24:20news,
00:24:20science,
00:24:21patterns,
00:24:22technologies,
00:24:23into exploitable knowledge.
00:24:25and on top,
00:24:27we provide scores and predictions
00:24:28that will increase ROI
00:24:30and maximize positive impact.
00:24:33So the solution addresses both
00:24:35the different type of asset class funds
00:24:37and corporates willing to innovate.
00:24:40We drastically reduce the cost of lost
00:24:42and failed opportunities,
00:24:44as well as increasing
00:24:46the decision-making process efficiency
00:24:48by more than 75%.
00:24:50Alpha 10X,
00:24:51the wealth-only startup
00:24:51with over $9 million of investment,
00:24:55a highly talented team
00:24:56with five AI PhDs,
00:24:59and partnerships
00:25:01with tech giants
00:25:02like Microsoft,
00:25:03Databricks,
00:25:04and Accenture,
00:25:05with whom
00:25:05we've already deployed the solution.
00:25:07So I'm Pierre,
00:25:08chief of staff at Alpha 10X.
00:25:10We're starting our next fundraise,
00:25:12so feel free to chat
00:25:13if you want to know more about us.
00:25:15Thank you, everyone.
00:25:17Fabulous.
00:25:18There we have it.
00:25:20Alpha 10X,
00:25:21our startup there.
00:25:23Again, remember,
00:25:23just two minutes.
00:25:24Could you do the same here?
00:25:25You've got a startup,
00:25:26you've got an idea,
00:25:27or simply you want to persuade somebody
00:25:29or get somebody feeling curious
00:25:31to get them thinking in a different way,
00:25:34perhaps on the same wavelength,
00:25:36and then start a conversation.
00:25:37Could you do that in two minutes?
00:25:40Maybe you could,
00:25:41maybe not,
00:25:42maybe you would need
00:25:42a little bit of help with that.
00:25:44We're going to see again more now
00:25:45from our startups
00:25:46doing exactly that,
00:25:48up to two minutes,
00:25:49sharing their big idea with you.
00:25:51Let's move on now
00:25:52to the next startup,
00:25:54very simply called
00:25:56Infocal.
00:26:00Good morning.
00:26:01My name is Robert van Tanceren,
00:26:03CEO of Infocal,
00:26:04and let me ask you something.
00:26:05Did you ever buy something
00:26:06in a grocery store
00:26:07only to find out at home
00:26:09that you couldn't read
00:26:09the expiration date
00:26:10because it had faded?
00:26:11and did you eventually
00:26:13end up throwing it away
00:26:14because you weren't sure
00:26:15if you could still eat it or not?
00:26:17Well, the good news
00:26:18and the bad news
00:26:19is that you're not alone in this.
00:26:21Every year,
00:26:21unnecessary food waste
00:26:23like this takes place.
00:26:24Entire shipments
00:26:25end up getting destroyed
00:26:26because of badly written
00:26:28or faded expiration date.
00:26:30And this is because
00:26:30these dates are written on
00:26:32with ink,
00:26:32which is very vulnerable
00:26:34to the atmospheric conditions
00:26:35in warehouses,
00:26:36but also to the oil
00:26:37in your own skin.
00:26:38Now, the entire market,
00:26:41the inkjet technology itself
00:26:43is also very polluting.
00:26:45Every year,
00:26:45hundreds of millions
00:26:46of liters of ink
00:26:47end up in the environment
00:26:48as pollution.
00:26:49The cartridges end up
00:26:51in landfills
00:26:51and it's a maintenance
00:26:53sensitive technology
00:26:54causing a lot of downtime
00:26:55in production facilities.
00:26:57Now, the entire market
00:26:58has already begun
00:26:59to transition to produce
00:27:00in a more sustainable way
00:27:01and they've begun
00:27:02switching from inkjet
00:27:03to laser
00:27:04to mark these expiration dates.
00:27:06But current laser technology
00:27:07cannot meet the speed
00:27:08that is required.
00:27:09And this is where we come in.
00:27:11At Infocal,
00:27:12we invented an optical technology
00:27:14that would allow us
00:27:14to increase the speed
00:27:15of a traditional laser system
00:27:17by more than three times.
00:27:19And, as a bonus,
00:27:20we can print just as fast
00:27:22on any kind of curved surface
00:27:24as well,
00:27:24increasing the traditional
00:27:26laser marking systems
00:27:28by more than 10 times.
00:27:29That also means
00:27:30that we can apply
00:27:31our technology
00:27:32to mark on curved materials
00:27:34like metal
00:27:35to write serial numbers
00:27:36or data codes
00:27:37for traceability purposes.
00:27:39And this is just the beginning
00:27:41of what our technology can do.
00:27:42So, come visit us
00:27:43at our booth B21
00:27:45for a demonstration
00:27:46and for a personalized
00:27:47coffee mug
00:27:48that we can make
00:27:49on the fly
00:27:50while you watch
00:27:51to demonstrate
00:27:51our technology.
00:27:53We are Infocal
00:27:54and this is light
00:27:56without limits.
00:27:57Thank you.
00:28:00There we are.
00:28:04We had the dress
00:28:05earlier on.
00:28:06Remember,
00:28:06I will never forget
00:28:07that lady with the dress.
00:28:08The brown suede shoes,
00:28:10the braces,
00:28:12the red,
00:28:12those beautiful,
00:28:13beautiful red braces.
00:28:16We move on
00:28:17to our next startup
00:28:19right now.
00:28:20One of 32,
00:28:21that's right,
00:28:2232 big ideas,
00:28:23Fast and Furious
00:28:24Short and Sweet
00:28:25here at the Pitch Studio.
00:28:28This startup
00:28:28is called
00:28:30NanoCore.
00:28:33Hello,
00:28:33VivaTech.
00:28:35Digital transformation
00:28:36is great, right?
00:28:37I mean,
00:28:37look around you.
00:28:38All these great startups
00:28:39who are going to change
00:28:40the world
00:28:40and they're on about
00:28:42cloud and edge
00:28:43and IoT.
00:28:44But what if someone
00:28:45pulled the plug?
00:28:46It could really happen
00:28:47because all this
00:28:49fundamental change capacity
00:28:51relies on one old segment,
00:28:53the network.
00:28:54It's like if
00:28:55autonomous vehicles
00:28:56kept relying
00:28:57on ancient Roman roads.
00:29:00So,
00:29:01the more we change
00:29:02our digital world,
00:29:04the more stress
00:29:04we put on networks,
00:29:06exposing them
00:29:07to attacks
00:29:08and malfunctions.
00:29:10And as the world
00:29:11changes,
00:29:12networks are becoming
00:29:13increasingly complex,
00:29:15hybrid,
00:29:15harder to understand.
00:29:17So,
00:29:18at NanoCorp,
00:29:19we keep networks
00:29:20operational
00:29:21and secure
00:29:22thanks to our experience
00:29:23in the best cyber unit
00:29:24of the French military.
00:29:25We keep networks reliable
00:29:27so that your other investments
00:29:29can keep changing the world.
00:29:31Our product
00:29:32can detect anomalies
00:29:33from attack
00:29:34to malfunction
00:29:35in any kind
00:29:37of network.
00:29:38If a large
00:29:38American
00:29:39internet service provider
00:29:40came to us,
00:29:41it's because
00:29:42with our technology,
00:29:43they can expand
00:29:44their network
00:29:44with confidence.
00:29:45They can now observe
00:29:4728 and counting
00:29:48points of presence
00:29:49across the globe
00:29:50from a single point of view.
00:29:52Thanks to our platform,
00:29:54a French security
00:29:54service provider
00:29:55can now understand
00:29:57what their client means
00:29:58when they're saying
00:29:59it's not working.
00:30:00They can correlate
00:30:01their client's ticket
00:30:02with live network data
00:30:03and reduce mean time
00:30:05to diagnosis
00:30:05and remediation.
00:30:07So,
00:30:07if I'm pitching today,
00:30:08it's because I need support
00:30:09in two domains.
00:30:11One,
00:30:12global sales.
00:30:13We need to expand
00:30:14our U.S.
00:30:15and European footprint.
00:30:17Two,
00:30:18cloud operations.
00:30:19We need to make
00:30:20our platform available
00:30:21on all marketplace.
00:30:23So,
00:30:24if you want
00:30:24your other investment
00:30:25to cash in,
00:30:26you need to invest
00:30:27in NanoCorp.
00:30:28Thank you.
00:30:29There we have it.
00:30:30NanoCorp.
00:30:31Those are the reasons
00:30:32why you should invest
00:30:34in NanoCorp.
00:30:35Absolutely right.
00:30:36We move on now
00:30:37to the next.
00:30:39to start out again.
00:30:40Remember,
00:30:4132,
00:30:4132 big,
00:30:42fresh,
00:30:43innovative,
00:30:45inspiring,
00:30:46short,
00:30:47sweet,
00:30:47fast,
00:30:48furious ideas
00:30:49right now
00:30:50on the pitch studio,
00:30:52look,
00:30:52pitch studio stage
00:30:53right here
00:30:54in the heart
00:30:54of VivaTech 2022.
00:30:57We move on now
00:30:58to our next start-up
00:30:59very simply called
00:31:01Nomitri.
00:31:03Bonjour,
00:31:04VivaTech.
00:31:04Hi.
00:31:06There is
00:31:08a disruption
00:31:09going on
00:31:09in every supermarket
00:31:11on how people
00:31:12will buy groceries
00:31:13in the future.
00:31:15Nobody knows
00:31:16whether you're
00:31:17going to buy it
00:31:18by going in the stores
00:31:19as usual
00:31:20or maybe going
00:31:21with a quick commerce,
00:31:22gorillas,
00:31:23fling whatsoever
00:31:23or maybe buying it
00:31:25from Carrefour online.
00:31:27At Nomitri,
00:31:28we will benefit
00:31:29in any of this scenario
00:31:31because we have built
00:31:33a visual AI assistant
00:31:35that can capture
00:31:36people's behavior,
00:31:38what they do in stores,
00:31:40monitor them
00:31:41and guide them.
00:31:42So next time
00:31:43you decide to buy
00:31:44your groceries
00:31:44in the supermarket,
00:31:46our AI runs
00:31:47on a smartphone
00:31:48or a tablet
00:31:49and watch
00:31:50and see what you put
00:31:51into your cart
00:31:52and at the end
00:31:53let you skip
00:31:54the cashiers
00:31:55and walk out
00:31:56with the self-checkouts
00:31:57with your groceries
00:31:59paying on the mobile.
00:32:01If that helps,
00:32:02the retailers
00:32:03then to take
00:32:04the cashiers
00:32:05and use that capacities
00:32:06to do the picking
00:32:07of their multi-channel
00:32:09and then deliver
00:32:11the orders
00:32:12to the people
00:32:13who decided
00:32:14to order it online
00:32:15or if you decided
00:32:16to buy it
00:32:17with the quick commercialists,
00:32:19our solutions
00:32:19also help
00:32:20the micro-fulfillment managers
00:32:23to accelerate
00:32:24and decrease
00:32:26the errors
00:32:26of the pickers
00:32:27in his fulfillment.
00:32:29What makes us
00:32:30really different
00:32:31in all of their solutions
00:32:33is that we have
00:32:34built a solution
00:32:35that runs directly
00:32:37on smartphone
00:32:37and tablets.
00:32:39That means
00:32:39our solution
00:32:40is super low price
00:32:42for the retailers
00:32:43and customers
00:32:44because they don't need
00:32:45to buy
00:32:45any kind of cameras,
00:32:47any kind of cloud
00:32:48infrastructure.
00:32:49It works even offline
00:32:51and you can leverage
00:32:52on existing hardware
00:32:54such as
00:32:55every available
00:32:56smartphones
00:32:56and tablet.
00:32:57that's because
00:32:59we really innovate
00:33:00and pioneered
00:33:01in a technology
00:33:02which is called
00:33:03embedded deep learning
00:33:04vision
00:33:04that lets you
00:33:05allow to understand
00:33:06the behaviors
00:33:08of people.
00:33:08There we are.
00:33:09Thank you.
00:33:09Thank you so much.
00:33:10Wonderful.
00:33:11Thank you so much,
00:33:12Normitri.
00:33:13Guess what?
00:33:14Again, remember
00:33:14we have 32 big ideas
00:33:16here on stage
00:33:17and as you see
00:33:18my role is coming
00:33:19on stage
00:33:19and just saying
00:33:20a few words
00:33:21and then moving off
00:33:21and somebody
00:33:22has just said to me
00:33:23somebody's just said
00:33:24to me
00:33:24I should say
00:33:25other things
00:33:26in this little
00:33:27little space here
00:33:28like a poem
00:33:29or lyrics
00:33:30so that's exactly
00:33:31what I'm going to do.
00:33:32Ta petite Marie
00:33:34je parle de toi
00:33:35parce qu'avec
00:33:36ta petite voix
00:33:38ta petite manie
00:33:40tu as versé
00:33:41sur ma vie
00:33:43comme un milieu de rose.
00:33:44That's it.
00:33:45Right.
00:33:45we move on now
00:33:46to crazy
00:33:48crazy but true
00:33:49and I will try
00:33:50to find out
00:33:51other things to say
00:33:52during this little
00:33:53break that I have
00:33:5420 seconds
00:33:55we move on
00:33:56now
00:33:56I do requests
00:33:59we move on
00:34:00now to our next
00:34:00startup
00:34:01very simply called
00:34:03QuantScience.
00:34:07Hi VivaTech
00:34:08I'm Johab
00:34:09I'm CEO
00:34:10and co-founder
00:34:11of QuantScience.
00:34:12Now
00:34:13imagine being
00:34:14Erika
00:34:14an engineering
00:34:15leader
00:34:16working on
00:34:17a new
00:34:17semiconductor
00:34:18product
00:34:19you come up
00:34:20with an idea
00:34:21then you make
00:34:21your designs
00:34:22and now you want
00:34:23to know
00:34:24if it works
00:34:24or not
00:34:25so what do you do
00:34:26you can run
00:34:27some initial
00:34:28simulations
00:34:28of your design
00:34:29to an extent
00:34:31but currently
00:34:31that's a slow
00:34:32and cumbersome
00:34:33process
00:34:36and eventually
00:34:37you have to build
00:34:38several hardware
00:34:38prototypes
00:34:39to verify
00:34:40your designs
00:34:40and potentially
00:34:42even go back
00:34:43to the drawing
00:34:43board
00:34:44this process
00:34:44can take years
00:34:45and cost millions
00:34:46at QuantScience
00:34:48our vision
00:34:49is to accelerate
00:34:50product development
00:34:51with our cloud-based
00:34:52simulation platform
00:34:53and accurate
00:34:55digital twin
00:34:56simulations
00:34:59simulating physical
00:35:00reality
00:35:00is an old
00:35:01idea
00:35:02as is the
00:35:03technology
00:35:03it's being
00:35:04mostly done
00:35:04with today
00:35:05the market
00:35:06leaders are
00:35:07still based
00:35:08on desktop
00:35:09technology
00:35:10therefore
00:35:10seriously limiting
00:35:12the scale
00:35:12and accuracy
00:35:13of the simulations
00:35:14and the imagination
00:35:16of the innovators
00:35:18using them
00:35:19we will modernize
00:35:21simulations
00:35:21with our cloud-based
00:35:23simulations platform
00:35:24and disrupt the field
00:35:26even more
00:35:26with quantum computing
00:35:28algorithms
00:35:30this combination
00:35:31brings unique value
00:35:32to the semiconductor
00:35:33industry
00:35:34fusion energy
00:35:35and quantum hardware
00:35:37manufacturing industries
00:35:38in fact
00:35:39we're already working
00:35:40with many of these
00:35:41innovative companies
00:35:42in pilot projects
00:35:44and we'll launch
00:35:45the first version
00:35:46of our B2B SaaS
00:35:47simulation platform
00:35:48later this fall
00:35:51we have a great team
00:35:52of 13 people
00:35:54including 7 PhDs
00:35:55with a great combination
00:35:57of quantum
00:35:58cloud computing
00:35:59and business skills
00:36:00we're now racing
00:36:02our seed round
00:36:02for 5 million
00:36:04with a 20 million
00:36:05pre-money valuation
00:36:06the time
00:36:07to join the quantum race
00:36:08is now
00:36:10come and have a chat
00:36:11come and have a chat
00:36:12absolutely
00:36:13if you go that way
00:36:14that's right
00:36:16fabulous
00:36:16again
00:36:17we're hearing
00:36:17we're listening
00:36:18into so many
00:36:18great ideas
00:36:19aren't we
00:36:19lots of great ideas
00:36:21here on this stage
00:36:2232 of the best
00:36:23leading startups
00:36:24from some of the world's
00:36:26greatest
00:36:26biggest
00:36:27and most quality
00:36:30with highest quality
00:36:31accelerators as well
00:36:32so we're getting
00:36:33through them
00:36:34fast and furious
00:36:35short and sweet
00:36:36and we're moving on
00:36:37now to our next
00:36:38startup
00:36:38very simply called
00:36:41Arca Science
00:36:49good morning
00:36:51I'm Roman Clement
00:36:52I'm the CEO
00:36:53co-founder at Arca Science
00:36:54and today we're going to
00:36:55talk about knowledge
00:36:56management in the
00:36:57biopharmaceutical industry
00:36:59so basically what we're doing
00:37:01at Arca Science
00:37:01is we give the
00:37:04complete control
00:37:05from end to end
00:37:06to the data
00:37:07that the biopharmaceutical
00:37:08industry
00:37:09doesn't have
00:37:10access to
00:37:11so meaning
00:37:1280% of what
00:37:13is generated
00:37:14on a daily basis
00:37:15year after year
00:37:17is not
00:37:18accessible today
00:37:19why so
00:37:20well because
00:37:21first thing
00:37:22it is processed
00:37:23by hands
00:37:23just like when you
00:37:25annotate a book
00:37:26for knowing
00:37:27what's the author
00:37:28and what's the title
00:37:29in the industry
00:37:31it's exactly the same
00:37:33data grows
00:37:34twofold
00:37:35every 72 days
00:37:36so it goes
00:37:38really overwhelming
00:37:39that after
00:37:40only one year
00:37:41you have 32 times
00:37:42more information
00:37:43than in the
00:37:44previous year
00:37:45and the standards
00:37:47changes
00:37:48every two years
00:37:49so just like
00:37:51when you want
00:37:51to open a PowerPoint
00:37:52that's five years old
00:37:53most of the time
00:37:54he says that
00:37:55the version
00:37:55is not right
00:37:56well it's exactly
00:37:57the same
00:37:58so at ArcaScience
00:37:59we have built
00:38:00a solution
00:38:01that's based on AI
00:38:03actually
00:38:04the one we are
00:38:05the most proud of
00:38:06is one we have
00:38:07worked on with
00:38:07some of the most
00:38:09talented researchers
00:38:09at the Enria
00:38:10Paris
00:38:11to structure
00:38:13the biopharmaceutical
00:38:14information
00:38:15so articles
00:38:16clinical reports
00:38:18data from
00:38:19registries
00:38:20any kind of
00:38:20information that's
00:38:21possible
00:38:22to lead
00:38:24to
00:38:24breakthroughs
00:38:25in
00:38:26researches
00:38:27to bring
00:38:28new molecules
00:38:29to the market
00:38:30and to find
00:38:31new indications
00:38:32to help
00:38:33and cure
00:38:34diseases
00:38:36better
00:38:36than we are
00:38:37already doing
00:38:39we are
00:38:41currently raising
00:38:422 million dollars
00:38:43and
00:38:45obviously
00:38:46I'm
00:38:47waiting for you
00:38:48to come and
00:38:49talk with me
00:38:50I'll be
00:38:50over here
00:38:52thank you
00:38:53very much
00:38:54wonderful
00:38:55if you just
00:38:55go over there
00:38:56just for now
00:38:57fabulous
00:38:57there we are
00:38:58again
00:38:58listening to
00:38:5932
00:38:59big idea
00:39:00I've actually
00:39:01just had
00:39:01another request
00:39:02another request
00:39:03for some more
00:39:05French lyrics
00:39:05lyrics I haven't
00:39:06got any more
00:39:06apart from
00:39:07quand je
00:39:09quand je
00:39:10quand je
00:39:11vois tes yeux
00:39:11je suis
00:39:12amoureux
00:39:13if I remember
00:39:14well that was
00:39:14Danny Briand
00:39:15if I remember
00:39:16correctly
00:39:16anyway
00:39:17a big fan
00:39:18here in the
00:39:18front row
00:39:19right
00:39:20all the albums
00:39:22right
00:39:22we move on
00:39:23if he had
00:39:24any more
00:39:24did he have
00:39:24any more
00:39:25maybe
00:39:25one hit
00:39:25wonder
00:39:26I don't
00:39:26know
00:39:26we move
00:39:26on now
00:39:27to our
00:39:28next
00:39:28start up
00:39:29very simply
00:39:29called
00:39:31Brain Gaze
00:39:34thanks Peter
00:39:38most of you
00:39:39might know
00:39:41what ADHD
00:39:41is
00:39:42all of you
00:39:43will know
00:39:44what Alzheimer's
00:39:45is
00:39:45these are
00:39:46brain afflictions
00:39:47that affect
00:39:49millions of
00:39:49people around
00:39:50the world
00:39:50today to
00:39:52early detect
00:39:53ADHD
00:39:53or Alzheimer
00:39:54very few
00:39:55options are
00:39:56really reliable
00:39:57detection
00:39:58basically
00:39:59is about
00:40:00measuring
00:40:00symptoms
00:40:01of these
00:40:02disorders
00:40:02but not
00:40:03the root
00:40:04cause
00:40:04inside the
00:40:05brain
00:40:05therapy
00:40:06also is
00:40:07quite
00:40:08problematic
00:40:08therapy
00:40:09for ADHD
00:40:10involves
00:40:11pills
00:40:11which have
00:40:12side effects
00:40:13there is
00:40:13no real
00:40:14therapy
00:40:14for Alzheimer's
00:40:15today
00:40:15so we
00:40:16at Brain
00:40:17Gaze
00:40:17have developed
00:40:18clinically
00:40:18validated
00:40:19solutions
00:40:20digital
00:40:20health
00:40:21for early
00:40:22diagnosis
00:40:23and therapy
00:40:24leveraging
00:40:25a biomarker
00:40:26this is a
00:40:27digital biomarker
00:40:28based on
00:40:29very small
00:40:30involuntary
00:40:31AI movements
00:40:31triggered
00:40:32by very
00:40:33simple
00:40:34but well
00:40:35tailored
00:40:35video games
00:40:36these
00:40:38systems allow
00:40:39us to do
00:40:40plus 90%
00:40:42correct detection
00:40:43of Alzheimer's
00:40:44or ADHD
00:40:44in a 15
00:40:46minute test
00:40:47our therapy
00:40:48solutions
00:40:49provide 25
00:40:50to 50%
00:40:51symptom reduction
00:40:52after just a
00:40:53couple of weeks
00:40:54of gameplay
00:40:54so we've been
00:40:56selling the
00:40:57diagnostic solutions
00:40:58in ADHD
00:40:58for a couple
00:41:00of years
00:41:00in Spain
00:41:00and we just
00:41:01signed a
00:41:02licensing deal
00:41:03for China
00:41:04we're in
00:41:05negotiations
00:41:05to do
00:41:06licensing for
00:41:07the US
00:41:07and Europe
00:41:08as well
00:41:08we're raising
00:41:095 million euros
00:41:11to get all
00:41:11four of our
00:41:12assets
00:41:13into regulatory
00:41:14approval
00:41:15and market
00:41:16access
00:41:16in various
00:41:17continents
00:41:18around the
00:41:18world
00:41:19love to talk
00:41:20to you soon
00:41:22fantastic
00:41:23and hopefully
00:41:24others will
00:41:25love to talk
00:41:25to you
00:41:26as well
00:41:26soon
00:41:27again
00:41:27remember
00:41:28all of the
00:41:29startups
00:41:29here on
00:41:30stage
00:41:30not just
00:41:30startups
00:41:31investors
00:41:31a little bit
00:41:32later on
00:41:33and our
00:41:33accelerators
00:41:34from earlier
00:41:35as well
00:41:35they're looking
00:41:36for one thing
00:41:37to start off
00:41:37with and that
00:41:38is naturally
00:41:38a conversation
00:41:39this is how
00:41:40everything starts
00:41:41a conversation
00:41:42leads to another
00:41:42one and then
00:41:43hopefully
00:41:43collaboration
00:41:44can unfold
00:41:45in its due
00:41:46course
00:41:47so again
00:41:47all of the
00:41:48startups here
00:41:49on stage
00:41:50on the web
00:41:50app
00:41:50VivaTech
00:41:51web app
00:41:52check them
00:41:53all out
00:41:53reach out
00:41:54to them
00:41:54over LinkedIn
00:41:55start that
00:41:56conversation
00:41:56as well
00:41:57and see
00:41:57where it
00:41:58hopefully
00:41:58unfolds
00:42:00we move
00:42:00on now
00:42:01to our
00:42:02next
00:42:02startup
00:42:03right now
00:42:03please
00:42:04welcome
00:42:04to the
00:42:04stage
00:42:06Ditch
00:42:06Labs
00:42:12I also
00:42:13have brown
00:42:13suede
00:42:13shoes
00:42:14so I
00:42:14guess
00:42:15they're
00:42:15in fashion
00:42:16so you
00:42:17probably
00:42:17already
00:42:18know
00:42:18that
00:42:18smoking
00:42:19kills
00:42:19do you
00:42:20know
00:42:20that
00:42:20more
00:42:21people
00:42:21die
00:42:21as
00:42:21result
00:42:22of
00:42:22smoking
00:42:22than
00:42:22all
00:42:23death
00:42:23due
00:42:23to
00:42:23road
00:42:24accidents
00:42:24murder
00:42:25suicide
00:42:25HIV
00:42:26alcohol
00:42:27abuse
00:42:27and drug
00:42:28abuse
00:42:29combined
00:42:30not to mention
00:42:31that smoking
00:42:32related illness
00:42:33costs 120
00:42:34billion euros
00:42:35a year
00:42:35to the French
00:42:36healthcare system
00:42:37that's a lot
00:42:38of money
00:42:38that could be
00:42:38spent elsewhere
00:42:39treating other
00:42:39diseases
00:42:41and it's not
00:42:42because smokers
00:42:43don't care
00:42:43last year
00:42:43alone
00:42:4450%
00:42:44of all smokers
00:42:45tried to quit
00:42:46unfortunately
00:42:47it's only
00:42:477%
00:42:48of quit
00:42:48attempts
00:42:49that result
00:42:49in a success
00:42:50that's because
00:42:51current solutions
00:42:52on the market
00:42:52don't work
00:42:53obviously
00:42:53because they
00:42:54address only
00:42:55the biological
00:42:55factor of the
00:42:56addiction
00:42:57and forget about
00:42:57the psychological
00:42:58and social
00:42:59factors of the
00:42:59addiction
00:43:00so at Ditch
00:43:01we're building
00:43:01the first solution
00:43:02to address
00:43:03all in one
00:43:04the biological
00:43:05factor of the
00:43:05addiction
00:43:06and the
00:43:06psychological
00:43:07factor
00:43:07while taking
00:43:08into account
00:43:09the social
00:43:09factor of the
00:43:10addiction
00:43:10to personalize
00:43:11the treatment
00:43:11our product
00:43:12is called
00:43:13a Ditch Pen
00:43:13it's the
00:43:14medical
00:43:15nicotine
00:43:15vaporizer
00:43:16that's able
00:43:16to precisely
00:43:17dose the
00:43:17amount of
00:43:18nicotine
00:43:18delivered
00:43:19only to
00:43:19reduce
00:43:20gradually
00:43:20and seamlessly
00:43:21the doses
00:43:21through a
00:43:22prescribed

00:44:55we move

00:44:58very simply
00:44:59called
00:44:59Aura Medical
00:45:06there are
00:45:07a billion
00:45:08people
00:45:08with
00:45:08walking
00:45:09disabilities
00:45:09around the
00:45:10world
00:45:10and 88%
00:45:11of them
00:45:12don't walk
00:45:12enough
00:45:13that makes
00:45:14them
00:45:14losing
00:45:15their
00:45:15ability
00:45:15and losing
00:45:17more
00:45:17and more
00:45:18their
00:45:18ability
00:45:18until they
00:45:19are stuck
00:45:20in their
00:45:20wheelchair
00:45:20my name
00:45:22is Sarah
00:45:22CEO of
00:45:23Aura
00:45:23and we
00:45:24make those
00:45:25patients
00:45:25walk
00:45:25again
00:45:26so I
00:45:27first had
00:45:28this idea
00:45:28when I
00:45:29was doing
00:45:29physical
00:45:30therapy
00:45:30my
00:45:30patient
00:45:31just
00:45:31came
00:45:31to me
00:45:32once
00:45:32every
00:45:32few
00:45:32weeks
00:45:33and there
00:45:33was nothing
00:45:34in between
00:45:35the sessions
00:45:35so the
00:45:36lack of
00:45:37communication
00:45:37between
00:45:38healthcare
00:45:38providers
00:45:39and patients
00:45:39make it
00:45:40impossible
00:45:40to adjust
00:45:41the current
00:45:42therapy
00:45:42treatment
00:45:42and as a
00:45:44result
00:45:44patients
00:45:44don't improve
00:45:45as quickly
00:45:45as they
00:45:46should
00:45:46that
00:45:47cost the
00:45:48healthcare
00:45:48system
00:45:48billions
00:45:49of dollars
00:45:49every year
00:45:50something that
00:45:51could have
00:45:51been saved
00:45:51with better
00:45:52care
00:45:52to solve
00:45:54this
00:45:54problem
00:45:54we develop
00:45:55a new
00:45:55remote
00:45:56rehabilitation
00:45:57platform
00:45:57connected
00:45:58with sensors
00:45:59on different
00:46:00walking devices
00:46:01that help
00:46:02healthcare
00:46:02providers to
00:46:03do better
00:46:03clinical
00:46:04decisions
00:46:05and we also
00:46:06empower patients
00:46:07into their
00:46:09rehab
00:46:10we also have
00:46:11an AI platform
00:46:12that sends
00:46:12personalized
00:46:13recommendations
00:46:14and we're also
00:46:15able to detect
00:46:15a pronostic
00:46:16of patients
00:46:16to really help
00:46:17them into
00:46:18improving their
00:46:19walking abilities
00:46:19we are currently
00:46:21doing a free
00:46:22pilots project
00:46:23with really
00:46:23promising results
00:46:24we are
00:46:25raising
00:46:261.5
00:46:27million
00:46:28in order
00:46:29to have
00:46:29all the
00:46:29regulatory
00:46:30approval
00:46:30to go
00:46:31to market

00:54:27let's move on to our next start up right now
00:54:31again remember 32 big ideas on this stage if you've just joined us
00:54:34online if you've just joined us here the pitch studio all about bringing
00:54:38together a place a resource a resource for sharing ideas connecting feeling curious
00:54:46and starting conversations yeah that's a good that's a great way to describe this place
00:54:51isn't it really good right we move on now to our next start up very simply
00:54:55called i always say that donate very simply called it's just cool that's
00:55:03just their name i'll keep saying it very simply called privacy
00:55:11hello my name is manuel co-founder of privacy
00:55:14dan is woken up in the middle of the night millions of customer credit card details leaked
00:55:20from an old database that should have been deleted years ago now he could face a fine
00:55:25of up to four percent of annual turnover and the worst part is that this could have all
00:55:30been avoided if he had paid more attention to his gdpr compliance but dan like many sme
00:55:36owners found the process confusing expensive and time consuming to become compliant companies
00:55:42first needs to understand the gdpr and how it applies to them then they need to map the data
00:55:48they hold and what is used for and finally assess risk and create the right policies now this
00:55:55is extremely inefficient having to repeat the process again and again and costing smes 330
00:56:02hours and 45 000 euros a year if using a consultant privacy saves smes thousands of euros and lets
00:56:10them work on their compliance as they grow with a simple questionnaire about your business our
00:56:16platform identifies your company's legal requirements and generates legal legal documents that fit your
00:56:22business change as you grow and keep compliance off your mind the truth is in most cases there is no
00:56:29need for a lawyer thanks to our database of over 400 vendors and more than 3 500 ai legal recommendations
00:56:36our platform will give you complete visibility over your company's data flows helping you identify risks
00:56:43and allowing your team to answer requests from customers and stakeholders on top of that you'll be
00:56:49able to generate documents like a privacy policy or set up your cookie banner automatically any document
00:56:56will be easy to share through a privacy portal directly on your website containing all your privacy
00:57:01information and being automatically updated if there are any changes on your business or in the law
00:57:08since last year we've worked with over 100 companies and count with the support of institutions like
00:57:12kaisha bank plug-and-play or started bootcamp so if you're an sme or a growing startup looking to work
00:57:18in compliance without spending a fortune come talk to us come and talk to us absolutely take off the
00:57:24stage there on the left there we are just in time we move on now to our next startup ready
00:57:30to to hit the
00:57:31stage again two minutes really not easy at all to do really not easy think about if you could do
00:57:37that if
00:57:37you could share your messages share get people to feel persuaded get them to think along the same wavelength
00:57:43as you and maybe even to start a conversation could you do that in terms of what you do in
00:57:49two minutes
00:57:49quite a tough one to do we move on next startup ready and waiting is scantist
00:57:57good morning everybody this is jeremy from scantist and we are company headquartered out of singapore
00:58:04today scantist is in the field of cyber security and cyber security specifically for the developers sector
00:58:12the tool that we are developing specifically is in the area of software composition analysis
00:58:18on the right side i see some people think yep that's a good field to win on the left side
00:58:22some
00:58:22blank looking faces but actually what what do we do actually so for the developer side they take their
00:58:27code put it into our tool they do a scan and our tool will actually allow the developers to know
00:58:33whether
00:58:33if there are any vulnerabilities in the source code that they're developing so traditionally on the
00:58:39cyber security space consumers are well known to spend tens hundreds millions of dollars trying to
00:58:44buy cyber security products to protect themselves and yet they still get hacked all the time people
00:58:50start to look up down right and left so what's the problem why am i spending so much and yet
00:58:57i'm still
00:58:57being hacked and now the the market is shifting towards the left side and they actually realize that
00:59:02probably is the developers that could pay some help to reduce the problem so by improving the way they
00:59:10develop their source code proper hygiene matters in the development process they will be able to produce
00:59:16a better and more secure solution for the consumers and end users like all of us so scantist is in
00:59:22that
00:59:23arena and right now the market is about to take off and balloon so we are actually serving a lot
00:59:30of
00:59:30government and defense ministries um in asia and we are looking for people in europe and america to
00:59:35partner us to bring this to the next level and for scantist if you would like to find out more
00:59:41and talk
00:59:41to us i'm on the right side at the booth there inside the hawaii booth so please feel free to
00:59:45get in touch with me and as i depart on the left down the stage i would like everybody and
00:59:53encourage
00:59:53everybody to start shifting left in your cyber security mindset and framework and challenge the
01:00:00vendors that's trying to sell you their solution applications give us a call we'll help you to do
01:00:05that absolutely even better than that give us a call grab him as not grab him but you can find
01:00:09him as he
01:00:10goes off to the left and round to the right for some reason right over to his booth i think
01:00:15as well again
01:00:16this is all about inspiring conversations this is all this is what this is all about right getting a
01:00:22conversation getting people curious starting a conversation and seeing where seeing where that
01:00:26unfolds all right so we move on now next startup again 32 big ideas 32 great ideas fresh ideas here
01:00:33on this stage on to the next one right now in fact please welcome to the stage switch
01:00:44wow it's quite nervous in front of everyone okay so hi we are switch we are cyber security startup
01:00:51providing authentication solution called otac today i will introduce two solutions we are highly popular
01:00:59by client first solution is for iot according to recent research lauter is a source of cybertech for
01:01:08iot devices now how our technology otac solve the challenges we capsulate command key from the control
01:01:17server and verify the command key at the sim card with um with otac applet as a result unauthorized
01:01:24command key will not deliver to the iot devices and that is only possible with otac because otac can
01:01:32generate the dynamic authentication code without network connection it can end it can
01:01:38identify the user with the code alone as a result telecom operator can generate extra revenue with
01:01:44existing sim card by providing security service for enterprise customers and luckily this year we are
01:01:51participating orange open innovation program to commercialize it at the moment and second solution
01:01:56i'd like to introduce is the authentication for mobile banking so typically when you try to send money
01:02:03from your mobile banking app it always asks you to enter the authentication code to um for um extra labor
01:02:10security and we all understand that is very very inconvenient now how otac solve the challenges simply touch
01:02:20your contactless card back of your mobile phone and then your authentication code um sent to your mobile banking
01:02:27app um automatically and that is not just the concept we already commercialized the um the solution to
01:02:35korean post bank and more than 20 banking million users enjoy our solutions and even more once we
01:02:42satisfied our first client in terms of a customer experience improvement and the competitor of our first
01:02:48client also request us to implement the same for their banking users now do you want to know how the
01:02:55magic works
01:02:55please google switch otac or come as me after the pitch we are just under the orange thank you
01:03:02that way fantastic and you can follow her to to fight really find out how that magic really works
01:03:10which we all want a piece of i'm sure you at home wherever you are here everybody here this gentleman
01:03:16here who's looking really relaxed and really cool and just sort of viewing everything feeling good still
01:03:22feeling good still feeling good absolutely right we move on now to our next startup which is very
01:03:30simply very simply called which is called very simply mavuno technologies thank you very much can you
01:03:40believe that african smallholder farmers lose more than half of their crop every year the problem is
01:03:47yes pesticide can can fight diseases african smallholder farmers suffer from diseases that destroy
01:03:58regularly all their crop and they cannot do anything about it because pesticide is very expensive in
01:04:03africa and smallholder farmers don't have money to afford it at mavuno we offer african smallholder
01:04:10farmers a yearly subscription for pre-financed pesticide and we send farm operators to their farm who apply
01:04:20that professionally by doing that we can double their yields and we do that by equipping our farm
01:04:28operators with our mobile app that tells them exactly when they need to go to which farm and which
01:04:34quantity of pesticide to apply there we use the satellite imagery data from the european space agency and machine
01:04:41learning to run our app and to pre-finance to derive credit scores and our machine learning models can
01:04:51predict harvest yield by detecting specific crop types and calculating their biomass the model works
01:05:01we have now after one year since foundation we have more than 2 000 farmers um subscribed this is more
01:05:08than half a million in revenues that we're earning this year and we have started in tanzania and with
01:05:14cashew because cashew is the most important cash drop in eastern africa and tanzania the biggest producer
01:05:20plus our co-founder lucas is there since seven years
01:05:25as a team we are not only co-founders we are also three brothers with very complementary skills next
01:05:31to lucas there's jacob responsible for the technology i cover the business topics together we have 15 years
01:05:38of professional experience in our domain if you invest in us you can make a big impact for african
01:05:45smaller farmers many thanks fantastic way off stages there wonderful if you invest in them
01:05:53making him an impact absolutely but isn't that isn't that exactly what everybody wants to do
01:06:00hopefully right we move on again remember 32 startups 32 big ideas from all over the world different
01:06:09cities different countries next startup coming from a very important place indeed ladies and gentlemen
01:06:16please welcome to the stage esm one important place who could have guessed uh hi my name is ivan i'm
01:06:30the
01:06:30founder of esm one and uh easiest way to explain what we're doing is probably the google analytics but
01:06:36for the live streaming we started with esports which is one of the most live streaming heavy industries in
01:06:42world and we quickly became the market leader of esports with esports charts our first product it
01:06:48is heavily cited in media it works with most of the world brands including esports and even non-endemics
01:06:52like coca-cola's red bulls and everyone and the product is profitable on its own but the streaming
01:06:58didn't stop there it went way bigger with just chatting tick tocks and everything else so not only esports
01:07:02so we created our second product which is streams charts and this is not only b2b but also b2c
01:07:08products where streamers buy our own serve our services uh and present with them to sponsors
01:07:15and advertisers and so on so they sell their own decks and presentations including our dashboards
01:07:21and this product is also very big the website is also very popular and it is profitable
01:07:26we're moving forward from the google analytics parts obviously to the google ads part where we're
01:07:33starting to put the advertisement directly into the streams so we work with advertisers directly
01:07:39to create the uh advertising and marketing campaigns together and uh this is our next stage and this is
01:07:45what we're looking for here at video tech hopefully for some partners marketing agencies or brands
01:07:51willing to create a new interesting uh easily trackable highly performable campaigns together i am
01:07:58ivan at esm.webs.1 which is the website not here esm.1 is a website interestingly thank you very
01:08:05much
01:08:07ah there we are esm1 fantastic we move on again 32 big big ideas startups chosen handpicked from more
01:08:16than 16 global accelerators they chose the best ones brought them here and they're here sharing their ideas
01:08:22with you and naturally those of you online with us as well wherever you are in the world we move
01:08:28on now
01:08:29to our next startup please welcome shares good morning everybody how are you i'm startup number 27 so i hope
01:08:45you
01:08:45guys are still alive are still awake so we're gonna start by doing a quick game can you please raise
01:08:51your
01:08:51hand if you have ever invest with a trading platform please raise your hand if you are ever you see
01:08:58this is about to change with shares my name is benjamin schemler and i'm the ceo and co-founder of
01:09:06shares so what is shares obviously it's more than just a t-shirt shares is a social trading platform it's
01:09:13just the first social trading platform i've been investing on stocks and crypto for a couple of years
01:09:19but guess what until shares i felt lonely i never knew in what to invest i was always lost calling
01:09:28my friends chatting with them on social networks and we came with the idea of shares and that was
01:09:33less than a year and a half ago 13 months later in a few figure we are a team of
01:09:40180 employees we have
01:09:42three main offices in paris in london and in krakow in poland we just got live in the uk about
01:09:50nine
01:09:50weeks ago almost getting too close to 200k user in only nine weeks insane traction we have raised 50 million
01:10:01dollar our first year in two rounds and so i'm super excited to be here and i want to thank
01:10:06the meta team
01:10:07facebook meta thank you very much for your support um obviously it's also our main acquisition channel
01:10:15so i want to thank you twice for this and uh you can join me on linkedin so my name
01:10:20is benjamin schemler
01:10:20happy to discuss and continue the conversation thank you very much absolutely that way is the way off
01:10:26the stage fantastic there we are shares really encouraging really getting people to to make that
01:10:31whole process a lot easier and uh and uh making it really simple and easy to do we move on
01:10:37now to
01:10:38the next startup very simply called ukars
01:10:48hi good morning everybody my name is shingy and i'm uh the head of strategy uh of ukars from singapore
01:10:55and i'm here on behalf of my ceo chun ban who's unwell and couldn't make it today
01:11:00uh so from what i understand europe has a very active and very innovative transport and mobility
01:11:07scene and uh if any of you are looking to enter the southeast asian market we'll be looking to partner
01:11:12with uh marketing agencies startups companies and investors
01:11:18now uh how ukars works is we have a marketplace we have an enterprise software system and we also
01:11:26publish top gear and car buy magazines in singapore now the southeast asian transport market is uh
01:11:35worth 150 billion euros of car sales annually as and car ownership amongst
01:11:43the growing middle class is looking to triple by the end of the decade
01:11:50now we have a strong lineup of private investors and angel vcs and we're now looking to raise our
01:11:56series a round of funding so if any of you are looking to enter the southeast asian market
01:12:02we would be very interested to hear from you guys now what sets us apart from our competition
01:12:07is that we are a market maker so what we're doing is empowering all of our car dealerships that we're
01:12:16partnering with and the new car brands of which all of them are on the platform to take them online
01:12:21and to streamline the entire sales process so we do that by uh using a huawei powered ai software
01:12:30which as the data sets get bigger and bigger as the cars transact more and more we will have a
01:12:34more
01:12:35accurate assessment of the price of the used cars so once again if you're looking to enter the uh
01:12:41southeast asian market we're looking to hear from you guys and please uh please drop us
01:12:45um a message or an email thank you there we have it you cars thank you so much an email
01:12:53a message an
01:12:54email even better than an email even better than email just grab this gentleman follow it not follow
01:12:59him but find him have a chat have a coffee take that conversation forward as well again remember just a
01:13:05few things as well remember when you are looking at the startups here clearly you're making a judgment
01:13:10right you're making a judgment how they move what they wear what they say how they feel everything
01:13:17but there's you know what as as a pitch coach as a storytelling coach there's one thing there's one
01:13:21thing that will influence you or influences us more than anything else right you know what that is
01:13:28it's the voice it's the voice the voice can really influence us much more than anything else so if
01:13:35there's one thing to work on when you pitch when you're preparing your pitch listen to your voice
01:13:41record your voice find out the things that are good things that are not so good work on it shape
01:13:45it
01:13:46and really make it work for you right we move on to the next startup right now which is
01:13:54bite sizing no pitch sensing
01:13:59hi everybody what if we had been able to perform
01:14:03the early discoveries of illnesses like alzheimer or parkinson's at home the life of many people
01:14:10related to dementia would have been critically completely different the little idea that we have
01:14:16behind um fitness and wellness radar mini age is to have a deep understanding of one's wellness
01:14:24and to be able to predict the ill crucial illness uh so that we can meet the golden time to
01:14:32for better
01:14:32treatment at the right timing so it is always challenging to understand and analyze one's
01:14:40current medical status right now uh as you have to go through um time consuming or sometimes very
01:14:47expensive medical examinations with mini age you don't need that you simply install the sensor on the bed
01:14:54side and it analyzes biometric patterns and your body movement to give you the illness prediction
01:15:00including dementia and alzheimer uh yeah what i was gonna say oh yeah um it also provides a um sleep
01:15:12score
01:15:13um as well so sorry um yeah what's more interesting is that all of these features are done in a
01:15:22non-intrusive
01:15:23non-contact and simple and cost effective way so this obviously has a great usage for elderly cares
01:15:30but we also see potentials uh for everybody actually who cares about their wellness so we are looking
01:15:37for partners in europe including france who wish to join this great exciting journey of new innovation
01:15:43of wellness we are located just down there or bit sensing so if you want to ever talk with us
01:15:49come and visit us thank you it's fabulous there we are again if you want to have a chat over
01:15:56there
01:15:56that way and you can actually as he goes leaves the stage now grab him have a chat and see
01:16:01that where
01:16:01that conversation goes forward again just again remember another quick tip that i'd share with you
01:16:06right now again when we're feeling anxious or when we're feeling nervous when we have to speak right
01:16:10when we have to speak in public pitch or whatever it is right there's two ways usually where this this
01:16:15kind of negative anxiety kind of comes through it comes through our voice so how we sound we can tell
01:16:21how people are feeling through the voice it also comes through our body right so our body movement so
01:16:28when we're moving when we're feeling nervous we're often going to be moving around right so again think
01:16:33about that try and stay still try and control control your body you can do that if you control your
01:16:39body
01:16:39stay still you start to control your voice and then you won't sound or feel as anxious as you come
01:16:47across think about that the next time you pitch or next time you speak in public we move on now
01:16:51to
01:16:52the next startup a startup called opinio
01:16:58hi everyone my name is john eve i'm the country manager for friends at opinio happy to be here it's
01:17:04almost over i promise um so at opinio we provide um the fastest market research worldwide we help
01:17:10companies to take data driven decisions using uh real-time consumer insights so we had a look at
01:17:16the markets the the market of traditional market research and we identified four main challenges the
01:17:21first one is lack of speed it's it's very slow so if you want to run a market research today
01:17:26you're
01:17:26going to get the results several weeks after and today we need agility right so doesn't really work out
01:17:32uh the second is data quality we have a poor and poor data quality in market research unfortunately
01:17:37um the third one is price uh it's often far too expensive for companies that need it the most like
01:17:43startups to run market research and the last one is uh complexity it's a very complex and unsexy kind
01:17:49of field so a lot of people uh just don't do it because they don't feel confident about it
01:17:54so what do we do about that uh we provide the fastest market research worldwide i said it so we
01:17:58can run
01:17:59surveys for 1 000 or 2 000 people in a couple of hours instead of a few weeks um we
01:18:04do that with
01:18:05the highest level of quality because we reinvented the panel approach so we have a mobile app apino
01:18:10leveraging community and gamification for the best user experience for the respondents uh we're
01:18:15therefore also uh more affordable 50 to 80 cheaper than standard market research uh through automation
01:18:21and our innovative panel approach uh we also remove the entire complexity we make it super easy for
01:18:28startups corporates to run market research but also very fun and simple for people like you and me to
01:18:33to take part to those research on the on the apino app um so just a few numbers to conclude
01:18:39on apino
01:18:39we are operating in five markets already we're profitable um germany france spain the uk and the us
01:18:46we have a 220 uh year on year revenue growth uh we 150 people um and we have over a
01:18:52thousand customers
01:18:53already ranging from um startups like gorillas to corporates like pepsico or vcs yeah we have an
01:18:59nps of 84 and r 160 come and talk to us thank you so much wonderful thank you so much
01:19:05that's the way
01:19:05off the stage apino there we are again come and talk to us that's exactly what every single startup
01:19:10and every single person here on this stage is looking for a conversation all right a conversation
01:19:15to lead to another conversation and to see where that unfolds certainly in the future we move on and
01:19:21now again next startup moving through all these great 32 big ideas big fresh ideas here at the the
01:19:30pitch studio le pitch studio right next startup sneak mart
01:19:41hello guys my name is anthony i'm the ceo and co-founder of sneak mart and as you might have
01:19:47guessed
01:19:47right now i love sneakers uh i collect buy sell sneakers since my teenage days and that's why we decided
01:19:55to create sneak mart so basically sneak mart is the first community driven streetwear app launched in
01:20:01france in january 2021 um so what we do with sneak mart is that we are creating and regrouping a
01:20:08community
01:20:08of at the moment french streetwear enthusiasts so people like me that just like sneakers clothing
01:20:14and as you might know right now streetwear is the new fashion even in the luxury fashion they they have
01:20:21all their collection including streetwear items and also sneakers so what our users can do on our app
01:20:26they sign up and they take part in the sneak mart community they can exchange with each other create
01:20:32some content uh they can find all the medias influencers in the streetwear topic but they can
01:20:37also buy and sell on the peer-to-peer marketplace that we created for them so they can buy and
01:20:42sell
01:20:42brand new and uh use streetwear items so sneaker clothing collectibles um and more recently
01:20:49we decided to open up to web3 with nfts because in originally we launched with this very community
01:20:57driven vision and we realized that all the web3 is based on communities uh so we had a deep talk
01:21:04with
01:21:04our existing community um obviously they love sneakers as we do and we decided to create
01:21:10metakix which is kind of our web3 entity and we are now preparing for our first metakix drop and this
01:21:16job will consist of bridging physical and digital sneaker collecting and also will help us to grow our
01:21:23community and um start international the internationalization um we are closing a small 500k
