00:31but let me tell you, it's going to be all worth it because right now, right now, we are celebrating
00:36the fourth edition of Pepita de Pepita,
00:39all about student entrepreneurship, all about ideas, innovation, young people are putting together in their minds,
00:46taking those ideas, not just staying in their minds, taking them further, having conversations and making them into a reality
00:53as well.
00:54So again, this great ceremony right now is really showcasing the economic and financial success
01:01and positive social and environmental impact on society as well, really giving the visibility to those through development,
01:10showing that it's possible to have real backgrounds of diversity and who can thus inspire new vocations as well.
01:16So I'm intrigued, as much as you are, really to find out, really a celebration of what these innovations are
01:23all about as well.
01:24As usual, the winners were chosen on three economic and financial development criteria,
01:30number of jobs created, turnover at the end of the 2021 financial year,
01:36total assets at the end of 2021 financial year,
01:39and for the first time right now, in fact, criteria of positive impact,
01:45which was really a decisive element in the selection of these winners as well.
01:51So lots of applications across the whole of France, many, many ideas indeed.
01:56But guess what? We're about to see just 10.
01:58The top 10 are going to be here on stage showcasing their ideas,
02:04showcasing why they have been chosen as those number, the top 10 ideas and innovations of this scheme as well.

04:44Talents want to have careers that make sense.
04:47Finance is increasingly having a look at green finance,

04:55So you will find more and more friends if you are in this space.
04:59Consumers also are more and more aware of responsible consumption,
05:03and Made in France, Cirqueco, and so on.
05:06So, yes, planets are aligning.
05:08And so we are at VivaTech with a lot of big groups,
05:16big names, big corporates.
05:19They are taking this role also to go towards more and more impact,
05:22but they did the step one, which was an important one,
05:26which was a compensation one.
05:28So I am doing core business on the one hand,
05:33and on the other hand, I am implementing a foundation.
05:36I have a CSR department,
05:38and I am in some way compensating what I do with my left hand,
05:42with my right hand.
05:43So that was important, and we are very happy to have them,
05:45and it's key for them to take into account impact.
05:50But it's not enough.
05:51And that's where you guys have a key role to play,
05:55because you are the new generation of entrepreneurs.
05:58You are impact native.
06:01You are not in the compensation.
06:02The impact is at the very heart of your models.
06:05You are purpose-driven companies.
06:08You build purpose-driven companies.
06:09That's the step two.
06:10Step one was compensation.
06:11It's not enough.
06:13It's not credible enough.
06:14It was the competition of the 90s and the years 2000.
06:20Now those subjects,
06:23sustainability, diversity, inclusion,
06:25needs to come to the right level

06:29at the very heart of the decision-making processes.

06:33so you are very, very proud for,
