00:1162-year-old David Lorne of St John's Garth in Aberford committed offences during the 1990s
00:17and was reported by the victim years later as an adult.
00:21In 2021, the Leeds Safeguarding Unit launched a detailed inquiry that led to Lorne being charged with 16 offences,
00:29including three counts of rape of a female under 16.
00:32Lorne was found guilty on all counts at Leeds Crown Court.
00:36He received an extended custodial sentence of 20 years plus one year on licence
00:40and will remain on the sex offenders register for life.
