Pepe (Tony Leblanc) y Paco (Antonio Ozores), dos grandes aficionados al fútbol, sueñan con llegar a ser entrenadores de un gran equipo, pero de momento forman el cuerpo técnico del Casamata Fútbol Club, un equipo modesto o económicamente débil, y un tanto caótico. Su objetivo es que el equipo ascienda de categoría, pero para conseguirlo necesitan un socio capitalista. Nombran entonces vicepresidente del club a Xavier (José Luis López Vázquez), un hombre ajeno al mundo del fútbol, pero que tiene mucho dinero y que anda cortejando a Nuria (Maruja Bustos), la hermana de Paco y Ana (Laura Valenzuela), la novia de Pepe.
Pepe (Tony Leblanc) and Paco (Antonio Ozores), two huge football fans, dream of becoming coaches of a great team, but for now they form the coaching staff of Casamata Football Club, a modest, financially weak, and somewhat chaotic team. Their goal is to get the team promoted, but to achieve this they need a financial backer. They then appoint Xavier (José Luis López Vázquez), a man with no connection to the world of football but who has a lot of money and is courting Nuria (Maruja Bustos), Paco's sister, and Ana (Laura Valenzuela), Pepe's girlfriend, as vice president of the club.
