Zum 10. Geburtstag der Reihe hat Bloober Team Layers of Fear 3 angekündigt. Im sehr atmosphärischen Trailer zitiert ein Mann "The Sick Rose", ein Gedicht von William Blake. Dabei scheint er nicht allein zu sein, er entschuldigt sich sogar für das Knacken und die herunterfallenden Bücher – sein Freund im Jenseits habe den Dreh für das Leben nach dem Tod noch nicht ganz raus.
