00:08The African nation faces recurring climate crisis such as devastating drought and flooding,
00:14forcing millions of people to abandon their homes.
00:17Likewise, the drought has wiped out livestock.
00:20Extreme flooding has devastated the few remaining crops, in addition to financial cuts and humanitarian
00:25aid programs.
00:26In this regard, Doctors Without Borders is calling for immediate action to expand nutrition
00:32programs, vaccination campaigns and water services, along with a sustained commitment to
00:37whole communities cope with the recurring climate crisis.
