00:00Yeah, certainly very few flaws in the game for Deegan in Supercross these days,
00:05and he was pretty much an ace on the Pro Motocross side from the moment he turned professional.
00:10This is the first race of the evening here in Seattle, 250 heat race number one.
00:15Nine riders will transfer to the main event.
00:17Watch the 47 Levi Kitchen, the home state hero, and the winner of this race two years ago.
00:23He's struggling with the starts lately.
00:25It's time to fix it. Here we go.
00:32Max Anstey and Ryder DeFrancisco side by side.
00:37Anstey have a 61 to the lead.
00:39I thought Anstey did have the clear hole shot, but yes, Ryder De makes the move.
00:45I think he went up the inside there in that 180.
00:49Anstey shuffled back to third, almost caught by Kitchen there for fourth.
00:53So DeFrancisco leads McAdoo now.
00:58I can tell you what, Mother Nature sure has put it on for us today.
01:02Look at this racetrack right here.
01:05I didn't think it was going to be like this a week ago, beginning of the week.
01:09And this track is great here tonight.
01:11You guys are going to really enjoy the racing.
01:14Very technical racetrack here.
01:16A lot different pace than what we've seen the last two weeks.
01:18And what do I mean by that?
01:19A lot slower, precision's going to be key, a lot readier.
01:24It's not like a super speedway.
01:25This is a lot tighter.
01:27Yeah, would you say the jump from Glendale, Arizona last weekend to here is about as big a variance as
01:32you get?
01:33100% a massive contrast to what we've seen the last two weeks.
01:37One in Houston and, like you said, last week in Glendale Beach.
01:41ARC, it's working well for DeFrancisco, who's starting to pull away a bit from McAdoo and Kitchen.
01:47Kitchen going to work.
01:48And there's the home track specialist.
01:51And the crowd immediately responds.
01:54Great pass by Levi Kitchen.
01:56You think about that incredible ride he had last week in Glendale in the main event.
02:01Looks like he's able to keep that momentum going, excuse me, and just looking good.
02:08Now, remember, this is a hometown race for him, so I expect a lot out of this guy right here.
02:13All right.
02:13Well, SMX betting and DFS gaming is back for 2026.
02:17New sportsbook bonuses and prop markets are available right now.
02:21There's the move.
02:25Is that a tear-off or was that a fist bump?
02:28That was a tear-off right there.
02:30Getting a clear view.
02:31Clear vision.
02:32Trying to check out right here, Will, guys, on rails.
02:36We saw this speed, didn't we, Ricky, last week?
02:38But the starts, as you guys said there, let him down.
02:41He has been working on them during the week.
02:43And I got to speak to the team owner over at Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki to find out how
02:48they've gone.
02:49And he said, look, we're still working on it during the week.
02:51He said the biggest difference is when it comes to race day, the noise of the bikes around him.
02:56Suddenly, you can't hear the revving of the engine.
02:59And you have to go just to feel.
03:01Mitch described it as like braille at that point.
03:04You have to feel it.
03:04And he said that takes time.
03:06He said during the week, we're good.
03:07If we can execute that in the race, I know he has the speed.
03:10He might have a tough time hearing the bike all the way around the track now because this crowd is
03:14cheering him everywhere he goes.
03:16Yeah.
03:16Keep your eye on this racetrack.
03:18It's going to evolve.
03:19It's going to get really ruddy in between these jumps on the rhythm lanes as well as the corners.
03:24And some of these riders, I feel like that.
03:27Why?
03:27Because it gets multi-groove.
03:29And you're able to make passes and the opportunity for guys to make up time or your competitors make mistakes
03:34are there, JT.
03:35They sure do, Ricky.
03:37And I think it's important to be aware of what the condition of the racetrack is at the time.
03:41This first heat race, you saw Kitchin going through the big rhythms.
03:44He triples onto that tabletop that you saw in the background there.
03:47Yeah.
03:47You can do those things when the track is still in the condition, but you need to have a plan.
03:51Later on tonight, we get into those main events.
03:54When those lines start to go away, you need to be able to pivot to a line you can execute
03:58every single time.
03:59So watch that.
04:00Oh!
04:01McAdoo down.
04:02Oh!
04:03Man, he's so lucky that that foot peg didn't get him in his sides or ribs.
04:09That was super close.
04:11Foot pegs are extremely sharp.
04:13Let's hope he didn't get caught up by that.
04:15I'll tell you what, like JT was talking about, you have to be willing to move around and search
04:20because this track is very, very difficult.
04:22It's going to deteriorate.
04:24Watch what happens here.
04:26Now, McAdoo's going to try to get over this jump.
04:29He's sideways on the takeoff, and he runs out of leverage.
04:34You can see his arms were fully extended.
04:36So a lot of riders do that earlier today in qualifying practice.
04:41Oh!
04:42And now, just trying to hang on to the qualifying spot.
04:44It's got Justin Rodbell in the 83, the SLR Honda in front of him, but they're both in a transfer
04:51position.
04:52And Revin Gordon is sixth.
04:54Rodbell, the red Honda, is seventh.
04:56There's McAdoo eighth.
04:57Oh, this is a good job for Revin Gordon as well.
05:00Two main events in a row.
05:01That's right.
05:03Man, what a step up for him.
05:04There you're talking about, watch what these riders are doing right now, and watch the alternate lines that they are
05:10taking.
05:10And to what JT was talking about at his point, they are going to be taking different lines all night
05:17long compared to what they've been doing the last two weeks.
05:21Crockett Miner is in that yellow Suzuki.
05:22He is in that last transfer spot, actually caught up to McAdoo for a moment.
05:27Now McAdoo going back to work on Rodbell.
05:30Rodbell very happy with this SLR team.
05:32They called him in December.
05:34It's like McAdoo going to try to make the pass.
05:37Rodbell says he's not quite as fit as he wanted to be.
05:39He was planning on racing east, but he loves the bike, and the speed is there.
05:42And he takes the spot from Gordon.
05:44And McAdoo trying to follow him.
05:47Oh, but he's on the inside right here.
05:49He's going to get two for no.
05:50Not able to do that.
05:53That was a high-risk move he went for going through the whoops, trying to make the pass, trying to
06:00shoot the gap.
06:01Comes up a little short.
06:03That's the chance you take here in these heat races.
06:06That bottom box is second.
06:08That's DiFrancisco versus Anski.
06:11I'll tell you what, man.
06:12He's gone back and forth.
06:12I love what I've seen from Ryder DiFrancisco all season long.
06:16It's like he's a new guy, really gelling with that rock star energy.
06:20Husqvarna working with team manager Nathan Ramsey.
06:23Such a great team manager as well.
06:25An old teammate of mine.
06:26Just his composure and how uplifting he is and knowledgeable as well.
06:33As McAdoo in the top box, RC, takes the spot away from Rodbell.
06:37That is fifth and sixth.
06:40Max Folland up ahead at fourth.
06:42But then it's that Anstey-Defrancisco battle.
06:44Meyer is working on Gordon now.
06:46Yeah, it's good.
06:47And Maschangelo is up to nine.
06:48Go ahead.
06:49Got to level out for McAdoo.
06:51Next guy is way far away.
06:53Well, Kitchin hasn't won a heat race in about a year.
06:56Oh, wow.
06:57Detroit 2025.
06:58He has eight career heat race wins to his name.
07:01But what this stat tells you is he hasn't won a heat even this year.
07:06This dude is rolling right now.
07:09Looks like he's on cruise control.
07:10And then it is set for him.
07:14Maybe he gets that showdown with Hayden Deegan and can challenge him for the dub later on tonight in the
07:19main event.
07:20And he told me yesterday he loves the ruts.
07:22Loves these conditions.
07:23And you can see it.
07:25Well, this is a perfect condition for him here tonight.
07:29So, a bit of a rebuild.
07:30Rough start to the year for Kitchin.
07:32His 2025 season was robbed by injury.
07:36He wins the heat to the delight of the crowd.
07:39Here's that final battle.
07:41Oh, Myers made the move on Rodbell.
07:43Oh, this is his rhythm lane right here.
07:46Very tricky section.
07:48Some guy's trying to get over that steep single from the sand.
07:53If you're able to do that, it changes the sequence.
07:56Looking blue there.
07:57That's Parker Ross on the 40.
07:59Looking to get in.
08:01I think he was down earlier.
08:03He's had to make up ground.
08:04Was that the final transfer?
08:07Here they come across the line.
08:09No.
08:09Ross is in in 7th.
08:10Rodbell in in 8th.
08:11And Masciangelo, the Canadian, is in on the 800.
08:15Avery Long is going to come up just short and go to the last chance qualifier.
