00:00On today's Media Missed Minute, a Republican senator is blaming the Minnesota Attorney General
00:04for the deadly immigration enforcement officer-involved shootings of two U.S. citizens.
00:10Plus, the Trump administration has quietly pulled National Guard troops out
00:14of three major cities after months of controversy.
00:21I'm Craig DeGrelli, and this is Media Missed Minute, where we highlight two stories
00:25being missed or ignored by partisan media outlets, starting with what those on the left are missing.
00:31Republican Senator Ron Johnson is placing the blame for the deadly immigration officer-involved
00:37shootings of Renee Good and Alex Preddy on Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison.
00:42During an oversight hearing Thursday, Johnson said Ellison knew there were so-called
00:47activist training centers in his state, but he did nothing to stop them.
00:51I can't imagine encouraging people, put yourselves in harm's way.
00:58If you're out there and record that, a tragedy was going to happen, and you encouraged it.
01:05And you ought to feel damn guilty about it.
01:07Are you asking me for comment, Senator?
01:09Because everything you said was untrue.
01:11It was a nice theatrical performance, but it was all lies.
01:15Ellison confirmed he knew about the centers, but said they're protected by the First Amendment,
01:19which he fully supports.
01:21Now to the right.
01:23Without the fanfare they showed bringing them in, the Trump administration has pulled
01:27federalized National Guard troops from three major cities.
01:31Thousands of troops are now leaving Los Angeles, Chicago, and Portland, Oregon, cities led by
01:36Democrats, where their presence has sparked controversy for months.
