00:00Hi, I'm Toni Bravo. Welcome to Rock the Look.
00:03Today, I'm going to be recreating an iconic look from my girl, Dochi, for a date night.
00:08Okay, first things first, we're going to do a little skin prep.
00:13Well, my skin's actually, it's looking pretty hydrated,
00:16but I always like to add in a little bit of a mist or a hydrator at first.
00:20We're using the Rode Glazing Mist.
00:26There we go. Beautiful.
00:28Really, when it comes to this look, it's all about the prep.
00:32I'm using the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream.
00:36This moisturizer is one of my favorites.
00:39I use this whenever I know I need the hydration to last,
00:43so I kind of just throw this all over.
00:47Now, the MUA for this look happens to be my friend Chelsea,
00:52and she made a whole breakdown video for this look,
00:55and gave me a lot of really great tips.
00:58And one of the biggest things she mentioned was hydration.
01:00So, if you're doing this look, you kind of can't skip that part.
01:05Now, while I kind of let that sit, I like to add an eye patch moment right underneath the eyes.
01:10So, today we're going to use my Rode Peptide Eye Preps.
01:14Let's put these right underneath the eyes.
01:16When I think of Dochi's signature look, glam, but also in a way that feels very grounded,
01:22just really allowing the glam to be centered around you.
01:26It's very unapologetic.
01:28So, lips. We're going to prep the lips too.
01:31We're using this Rode Plumping Lip Mask.
01:34I put this all over.
01:36So, this is basically how you should look before the makeup even goes on.
01:41Hydrated, glowy, and honestly a little glass-like.
01:47All right, we're using my Ardell Brow Glue.
01:49I use this for every single look.
01:52Kind of just comb it through.
01:54I'm just making sure they're nice and clean before you go in with any type of glue,
01:58because whatever you add in there will stay.
02:01So, I let them sit like that.
02:03We're taking a little ABH Micro Brow Pen.
02:08And I fill in some of these sparser areas.
02:10I don't do too much.
02:11So, I kind of just take my time and add in little strokes wherever I feel like.
02:16And then I'll take the spoolie side and kind of brush it through to really make sure there's no harsh
02:22lines.
02:24So, at this step, basically, I kind of tap in my patches and we pull them off.
02:34Beautiful.
02:35And that is the skin prep.
02:36And from here, we're going to move on to the skin.
02:40So, the very first part of my complexion routine is always and forever my Danessa Meyer Exploring Balm Powder.
02:49You're welcome.
02:50This will elevate your makeup game.
02:51It really helps to make sure that your makeup sticks and stays and lasts.
02:56It also adds like an airbrushed, flawless finish to your makeup look.
03:01So, this is like a non-negotiable.
03:04For this makeup base, I like to just focus on a bronzer and a concealer.
03:11This has been one of my favorite ways to keep the makeup looking light and natural,
03:16while still adding a good amount of coverage.
03:18So, that's what we're going to do today.
03:19I like to start off with two bronzers.
03:23My Dior.
03:24This is actually a foundation stick, but I use it as my bronzer.
03:30This is in the shade 9N.
03:32I really like it because it adds in a glow or a radiance that's very, very, very natural.
03:38So, I like to use this first, and then we go in with a more warm, less neutral bronzer next.
03:46Okay.
03:47And I'm kind of just adding this bronzer wherever the sun would naturally kiss my face.
03:53So, after this, I like to add a little bit of my Deep Bronze Sun Melt Bronzer.
03:59This is from Say.
04:00It is one of my favorite cream formulas because it really allows kind of that red warmth to come out
04:06in a way that is still very, very natural.
04:08You'd be surprised.
04:10A little goes a very, very long way.
04:12We're going to go in and add a little bit of concealer to kind of just blend this look together.
04:18We're using two different concealers.
04:20We're starting off with our, this is a brand new Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Cooler Concealer, 14.5 Deep.
04:29It adds a brightening effect, but it's still grounding enough to where it's not going to scare me away.
04:37So, I've got this everywhere, my high points.
04:41And then we're taking our brighter concealer in the shade 13 Deep and putting a little bit of this
04:47right in the center, right on top.
04:50This will kind of act as my inner brightening color, but let it sit, let it breathe,
04:56and allow it to really sink in before blending it out.
05:00I am a big Dochi fan.
05:03Her creative process through music and fashion really flows through to her makeup and her glam and her hair.
05:09She's an icon all around.
05:12If I had to pick one Dochi song as a soundtrack of my life, I would say Nissan Ultima is
05:19like my go-to.
05:23I've seen her live once last year actually, it was at the Grammys.
05:28So seeing that with my own eyes was a dream and a half.
05:34Okay, all right.
05:37Now at this step, we can start with the very first blush color, which is personally my favorite part.
05:44So I like to start off with a hot pink bright blush whenever I can.
05:48I like to add some on the back of my hands.
05:50This is exactly why, because it's very bright.
05:54And I find that whenever you add product like this to the back of your hand,
05:57you get so much more control when you're able to work it into the brush.
06:01CEO of blush did not come from me.
06:03That came from the people that watched my videos.
06:07And you know what?
06:08I'm honored.
06:09So after adding in a little bit of prima donna,
06:12now we're going to start with the very first powder layer.
06:15We're starting off with say slip tint in the shade five.
06:19So I like to tap this in right underneath the eye.
06:22And honestly, wherever I added my concealer.
06:26Now we just set everything with a pressed powder.
06:30We're going to now go and transition into a loose powder.
06:33I use my Hooded Beauty Duo.
06:36It's in the shade pink pumpkin.
06:38And we just pat it basically everywhere we put that pressed powder.
06:43What you're going to see is in this whole entire look,
06:46it's really all about layering.
06:49A little actually goes a really long way.
06:50You don't need to add too much.
06:54Okay.
06:55Now that we're leaning into the powder of it all,
06:58we're going to add a little bit of my powder bronzer
07:01and play around with some powder blushes.
07:05So for this look, there is like a pinky orangey warm element here.
07:10So we're using this Tower 28 in Downtown Daiquiri,
07:14which is actually a shade that I helped create in their shade extension line.
07:19I never had a true warm orangey coral blush.
07:23So you need one.
07:25And I'm kind of just focusing this right on the apples of my cheeks, right on top.
07:33Kind of bringing it in kind of halfway where my pupils are.
07:38Okay.
07:40Okay.
07:40Once that is down, we're going to add a little bit of the Laguna bronzer from NARS.
07:46This is the Laguna No. 8 bronzer.
07:49So wherever we put that cream bronzer, we're adding in our powder bronzer right on top.
07:57We're also going to add a little bit of bronzer up top as well.
08:03And then from here, I like to add a little bit of my mascara.
08:10And now we're going to add a little bit more blush.
08:14So I'm actually going to add a little bit of Exhibit A from NARS.
08:18This is a very bright, fiery red orange.
08:22I'm kind of focusing this one on the outer corners.
08:25I like to take a little bit of like a peachier light shade on the eyes,
08:30just to kind of add almost like a little bit of a transition before the bronzer shade.
08:36So I mix together kind of like a nice warm brown and two lighter colors.
08:42Nothing too intimidating though.
08:44Still kind of natural adding in a highlighted effect.
08:48So we just added a lighter situation in the inner eye,
08:52just to really add some nice brightening to this whole inner part of the face.
08:58So I'm just adding in a little bit more of the bronzer that we used all over,
09:02kind of just to smoke out the ends there.
09:06Okay.
09:06At this step, I like to add now the brightening that we did on the inner corners of my eye,
09:11we're going to do in the inner corners of my face.
09:14So first I like to start off with my Charlotte Tilbury airbrush powder.
09:19This one's in the shade number four.
09:21And I will say this has become a part of my makeup routine for a reason.
09:26It really adds in this kind of airbrushed effect that really goes so well
09:32with the concealers that we just used.
09:35So I just tap this in everywhere.
09:37And what I like to do is add a little bit of a deeper, richer cream blush on top.
09:44This is Rode in the shade Date Cake.
09:47So I like to go in with this one specifically because it gives such a beautiful, almost like
09:53highlighter-y glow.
09:54And I just tap this on where we had our blushes before.
09:58So we're going to take our number four again.
10:01Again, this is all really about layering here.
10:03So we're taking number four and tapping in a little bit of it right on top of that cream blush.
10:10You really want to make sure that you're kind of blending and merging.
10:15Now at this step, we also layer our setting sprays.
10:20So we have two setting sprays.
10:22I like to go ahead and add my Airbrush Flawless Finish from Charlotte Tilbury.
10:27And we just spray a little bit of this on this one.
10:30I like to use to bring back hydration into my face and a little bit of radiance
10:35in a way that really helps lock in the makeup.
10:37So spray a little bit.
10:40So right at this step, I know I want to add maybe a little bit more of that fiery blush
10:45at the end.
10:45So we're going to add a little bit more of our Exhibit A.
10:49And again, I'm kind of tapping it in the product as well.
10:52And I'm just tapping a little bit on the apples, very edges of my cheeks.
10:57Now at this step, we add in a little bit of highlighter.
11:00This is the Dior Backstage Highlight.
11:03So I take a little bit of the two gold shades.
11:06And I just like adding it to the highest points of my face.
11:10So I kind of just follow along my nose and along my brow bone as well.
11:17In the beginning, I talked about adding in a lighter, more transitional shade here.
11:22So this is House Labs in Hibiscus Haze.
11:25You're really just adding it kind of right in this inner corner here.
11:29And now I go ahead and add my setting spray.
11:32Shake it up, spray it.
11:37When it comes to a lip combo, I really like to have fun with the lip liners.
11:42So we're starting off with the NYX Duck Plump Liner.
11:46This one's in the shade Double Dose.
11:47When it comes to lip liners as well, play around with adding in different colors and shades.
11:51Because I promise every single shade will add something new.
11:55One thing I've learned about adding lip liner too, is you always kind of want to apply for your top
12:02lip.
12:02You want to apply in an upwards motion.
12:09So next, we're adding in some berry.
12:11This is from Milani in the shade Raisin Berry.
12:14For me to really ground the berry, I always like to add a little bit of a brown.
12:19So we just do a quick line of this.
12:21Nothing too much.
12:23Just a little bit.
12:24This is the final, final lip line.
12:27Okay, I promise.
12:28This is from Rode.
12:30This one's in the shade Move.
12:31I like to add this one because it's a very deep, deep shade.
12:34It kind of contours the lip combo in a beautiful way.
12:38And what's even better is at the other end of it, it has a little smudger.
12:42I take this and I kind of just smudge everything inside.
12:47Kind of just create a cohesive blend before we add our lip gloss.
12:54Next, I like to add a little bit of a lip gloss.
12:58So this is the Rode Peptide Lip Tint.
13:00This one's in the shade Ribbon.
13:01I like to add this for a little bit of a glossy effect.
13:05What's really nice is this is kind of like a lip gloss, but also a lip balm.
13:10But for that extra pink pigment in the middle, we're adding my Pat McGrath lip gloss in Sunset Rose.
13:17I'm just adding a little bit of this in the center.
13:22And you just blend that out.
13:25Perfect.
13:41All right, and this is the final makeup look.
13:45We have created a beautiful, iconic, doji-inspiring makeup look.
13:50This was so much fun.
13:52And thank you so much for watching.
13:53Bye.
13:54Bye.
13:56Bye.
13:57Bye.
13:57Bye.
13:58Bye.
13:58Bye.
14:00Bye.
14:01Bye.
14:01Bye.
14:01Bye.
