00:00Today, I'm going to show you how to rock the look.
00:02We'll be recreating Sabrina Carpenter's
00:04Man Child music video look.
00:05Oh, boy.
00:11What did you really like about her look in the video?
00:15I love Sabrina Carpenter's hair.
00:17You know, people are always talking about it online,
00:19wondering if she's wearing a wig.
00:21But in the Man Child video in particular,
00:23the curls were so big, voluminous.
00:26I really love, like, those big voluminous curl looks.
00:29Particularly because it's very, very retro.
00:33It gives me, like, those 70s vibes.
00:35I think that she really liked, like, Sophia Loren
00:38when I was, like, looking through some of her references.
00:40Because that's just, like, I just love the hyper-femininity
00:43that's happening right now.
00:49I started off by just spraying some dry heat
00:52protecting on your hair.
00:53We always have to protect our hair while we are using heat.
00:56Right now, I'm using a T3 curling iron
00:58just to, like, get some of that curl in there.
01:01You can use, like, any, like, one-inch, one-and-a-half-inch
01:05barrel roller to get these curls.
01:09And then just a Velcro roller just helps with setting it.
01:12I really love Sabrina's take on country pop.
01:17Yeah.
01:17I think that a lot of people are trying to do country,
01:20country hybrids, country features across the board.
01:23It's so cute on her when she does the whole, like, powerful,
01:27feminine, little country girl thing.
01:28Yeah.
01:29She's been putting in work for years.
01:31But for me, Emails I Can't Send has to be my favorite album of hers.
01:36There's no us in us when I'm lacking trust you.
01:40Right now, again, I'm just going to go in with the Orbe Goldlust
01:44Dry Heat Protectant Spray.
01:45I really like it because it's really great when you're curling
01:48and working with dry hair.
01:50It smells really good.
01:51Yeah.
01:51They also have a candle with this scent.
01:55It's so good.
01:57Love a signature scent.
01:58Yeah.
01:59Have you seen Sabrina's perfumes?
02:01No.
02:03The bottle looks like a chocolate bar.
02:06So I think there's, like, a brown one, a pink one, and a white.
02:09And, like, one's vanilla, one has, like, a cherry or, like, strawberry vibe,
02:13and the other's more chocolatey.
02:14Mmm.
02:15That's super yummy.
02:17That's so decadent, short, and sweet of her.
02:19Mm-hmm.
02:20She's for the girly pups, you know?
02:21Yeah.
02:22And I think that she has such a wide range of audience in terms of age,
02:26from, like, little girls to, like, women who are older than me.
02:31So to have, like, light, flirty, fun scents just makes sense.
02:35And people are so into layering scents right now.
02:38Yeah.
02:38Body butter, perfume, lotion.
02:45All right.
02:46So right now, we're going to go into makeup.
02:47It's always important that you always have a fresh, clean, hydrated face.
02:52So now I'm going in with the Caudalie Beauty Elixir.
02:57And this is a toner and a setting spray.
02:59Ooh, this smells nice.
03:00It is one of my favorite, favorite products, hands down.
03:06Then after that, I'm going to go in and I'm going to put a primer.
03:10I'm going to be using Bobbi Brown.
03:12She is a staple.
03:15I know for Sabrina, like, I was watching some of the videos that she does to get her skin
03:19prepped before Carolina goes in with the makeup.
03:22And what she said was is that she likes to use, like, ice because she can go have it anywhere
03:30while she's traveling and she likes to rub it all over her face.
03:32And then after that, like, she'll go in with, like, a sheet mask.
03:37So I really like sheet masks, especially for prepping skin.
03:40One of my favorites are Garnier sheet masks.
03:43It's really, really hard to find.
03:45But it really just goes in there and, like, sets and primes everything and, like, hydrates everything.
03:52Now, while everything is setting, I'm going to go in and I'm going to start doing your brows.
03:56I think for me, I struggle most with making them, like, relatively symmetrical.
04:04And I get they're siblings.
04:05They don't have to be twins.
04:06Yeah, exactly.
04:07But I don't want them to be cousins, you know?
04:09So now I'm going to go in with a brow pencil.
04:12So another thing that I recommend for people is, like, to use different products for, like, their brows, right?
04:17Like, especially, like, if you have, like, very, like, sparse brows, you really want to fill it in,
04:22you can always start off with, like, a pencil and then, like, fill in, like, the tail part with, like, a pomade or, like, a lip pen or something like that.
04:31So I'm going to go into her eye with this wonderful, wonderful palette from Tarte.
04:37It's called Toasted.
04:39And we're really just going to stay in, like, this area because the eye look in the video was just, like, really, really light.
04:46And we really just focused on brows and lips and blush.
04:50I'm just going to go in and I'm going to create a crease.
04:56Now, I know for this look, she really just went in with, like, a very light eye.
05:01But I do love when she does, like, a little drama.
05:04Yeah, like, Carolina, her makeup artist, really does a really great job of, like,
05:10coming in with all these different looks, like, keeps it very light and natural.
05:15But you always have, like, a focal point, whether it's going to be the eyes, the lips, the blush,
05:20especially the fact that we are able to, like, really look at her makeup and really, like,
05:25remember it when she has such really iconic hairstyles, too.
05:30Going back in with, like, this champagne color.
05:32Mm-hmm.
05:33Close.
05:35So the same shade that I used underneath the brow bone,
05:38I'm going in into the inner corner and using.
05:41And we're just transitioning that out.
05:45I'm working with Armani.
05:47Mm-hmm.
05:49And I'm just using this so that I can figure out, like,
05:53what your shade is turning in this way for me.
05:57Cool.
05:58Smells good.
05:58You are exact match to the Armani.
06:03I do see a little bit of redness on the skin.
06:07So I'm going to go in with this Makeup Forever correcting primer.
06:12And we're going to let that sit for a little bit.
06:13But while, and that's in the inner portion.
06:16So while that's sitting down, I'm going to work on the outer.
06:21And I know it looks crazy, but you're probably used to this, like,
06:25greens neutralizing the color, the color theory.
06:28Yeah.
06:30So I'm using an ELF, like, it's like a kabuki brush.
06:34It's very condensed.
06:36And I really love it because I'm able to put, like,
06:38a small amount of product and, like, really push it into the skin,
06:42giving you, like, that flawless finish.
06:47A lot of my brushes are really from, like, ELF and Sigma.
06:51I use mostly synthetic brushes just because I'm not for the animal hair.
06:57And also, it's easier to change out colors between them as I work.
07:03I use the Makeup Forever Pro palette.
07:07One thing that you should always remember when applying
07:10is that when you're pressing the product into the face,
07:12that's when you're really placing the product.
07:14And a lot of people I see just, like, swipe it away.
07:16And that's really to diffuse the product, right?
07:19So if you notice, I'm going between pressing and, like, swiping.
07:24So I'm just going to go in with the blush.
07:34So I'm using the NARS Orgasm Liquid Blush to start.
07:44Caroleana did, like, a nice, like, sunburnt blush.
07:48So we're just going to have the excess right here.
07:55I'm going to spray you.
07:58And I love this Tear Tear spray because it's waterproof
08:03and it really, like, melts everything together.
08:05So I'm going to start spraying you a lot now.
08:07Yeah.
08:08I'm feeling glowy.
08:09I'm feeling snatched.
08:10I'm so excited to see this with the final look with my hair down.
08:18What is this palette you're using?
08:20So this is the One Size.
08:23It's a bronze and sculpt trio.
08:27And I'm using this Hourglass powder just to set.
08:33Now we're going to go in with this Dior pink blush.
08:36But you see how it's this beautiful transition.
08:41Yeah.
08:42It looks a little neon on there.
08:44I was a little scared.
08:45But when it comes into your face, do you feel neon?
08:49No.
08:52Really light.
08:53You're just going back.
08:54It, like, almost highlights the blush you put on.
08:57Yeah.
08:58So I always like to do a liquid and then, like I said,
09:01especially if you have, like, combo skin or other skin.
09:07And then I know another thing that Sabrina does is she uses this, um,
09:11Dior Backstage Quad highlighters.
09:14And I'm just going to go in with the lightest colors.
09:17Let's go.
09:19And now I'm just going to go in to your waterline with this really skinny, um,
09:25Japanese liner.
09:27Got it from TikTok.
09:28TikTok Shop.
09:29Shout out the TikTok Shop.
09:36So now I'm going to go in with my L'Oreal Pandorama Mascara.
09:43I always recommend, like, don't look straight at a mirror while you're doing it.
09:47Always put your mirror down and, like, look down at it.
09:52So Sabrina did have, like, a very nice and voluminous lash.
09:56So I'm going to go in with these Ardell.
10:00They're, like, the double ups.
10:01They're called the Duralash.
10:02But they're kind of like the double ups and they're short and they're in trios.
10:05And then I can just place them right on the outside corner and they're nice.
10:09And, uh, black and voluminous give us that drama.
10:12So one of the secrets that Sabrina, this makeup artist, uses is that she goes in with a bronzer
10:23just to give some shape to the lip.
10:24So I'm going to go in.
10:32All right.
10:32Perfect.
10:34I feel like I could go headline Coachella right now.
10:37We're going to go worldwide, girl.
10:38Easy.
10:40All right.
10:40So let's go take down the hair and we'll get the finished look.
10:53How are you feeling?
10:54I love it.
10:56I'm literally Sabrina.
10:57That's my place.
10:58Yes.
10:59Thank you so much.
11:00You're welcome, girls.
11:01Can't wait to go out with this look on.
