00:00In-refer na ng Department of Energy sa Ombudsman ang Renewable Energy Firm ni Rep. Leandro Leviste, matapos mabigong makabayad.

00:08Dahil sa paglabag, pinatawan sila ng ahensya ng 24 bilyong pisong penalty.

00:19Ito ang sinabi ni Energy Secretary Sharon Garin kasunod ng hindi pagbabayad ng Renewable Energy Firm na Solar Philippines

00:25na itinayo ni Batangas Rep. Leandro Leviste sa 24 billion pesos penalty na ipinataw ng kagawaran.

00:32Dahil dito, in-refer na ito ng Department of Energy sa Office of the Ombudsman.

00:36Bigong maisakatuparan ng kumpanya ang mga obligasyon nito na nakasad sa mga kontrata nito sa pamahalaan ayon sa DOE.

00:42Una nang kinansilan ng DOE ang mga kontrata ng Solar Philippines.

00:45Ayon kay Garin, may nakalang isang buwan para bayaran nito.

00:55Asking us for documents. And hindi naman kami yung Department of Justice.

01:01It will be Ombudsman that we will determine kung ano yung mga violations based on the documents that we have

01:06submitted.

01:07Ani Garin, kanilang hinihintay ang evaluation ng Office of the Ombudsman.

01:11There's already a preliminary investigation ongoing. On both. On DOJ, even kay Solgen and Ombudsman.

01:19And we have a hearing in Congress, I think, on the 24th this month also.

01:25Paliwanag pa ng kaliyim, hindi lang si Leviste ang pinatawan nila ng multa.

01:28Anya, hindi lang pangkaraniwan nito, lalo't maraming kontrata ang Solar Philippines.

01:33It's not like pinlano ito na ngayon lang.

01:37Kasi this is part of a long process that we are doing in DOE.

01:42So that we want legitimate and serious investors in the Philippines.

01:47Kasi hindi po nilalaroan niyang electricity.

01:51It's a utility that is needed by each and every Filipino.

01:54Ayon sa kalii, nabigyan na ng due process ang lahat ng mga kumpanya kabilang ng Solar Philippines.

01:59May isa pa anyang kontrata ang Solar Philippines na kasalukuyang dumadaan sa evaluation.
