The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has flagged over 40 Facebook and nearly 10 TikTok accounts for spreading racially charged content linked to a viral video.

Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said the posts showed signs of coordinated inauthentic behaviour (CIB), using identical footage and messaging to suggest racial motives in an incident in Kajang.
