00:00He's back, the Inferno returns to the Garden with his new team, the Bulls, against the guy he was traded for, Nikola Vucevic and the Boston Celtics, who are led by Jalen Brown.
00:10He starts tonight, and then he starts in the All-Star game for the first time in his career this weekend.
00:15Celtics-Bulls coming at you.
00:20Got it!
00:30And welcome to TD Garden as the Celtics unofficially close the first half of the season.
00:37This is their last one before the All-Star break.
00:39It's the third and final meeting with the Bulls this year.
00:42We can't wait to watch it with you.
00:43Alongside Eddie House and Abby Chin, I'm Drew Carter, and Eddie Anthony Simons has a new team.
00:47He's still doing his thing.
00:48Yeah, he is doing his thing.
00:49He's averaging 20 points since he's been there.
00:51One thing we got to do is make sure that he's not Dan Ferno tonight.
00:55Make sure he's feeling exactly how it feels outside, freezing cold.
00:59That has to be with defense.
01:01We have to lock in on him and make sure we're doing what we need to do so he doesn't get hot.
01:05But this guy right here who we're talking about is Jalen Brown.
01:08This is his first All-Star start, and it's well-deserved.
01:13He's been leading this team.
01:14He's averaging so many points.
01:16He's been doing—he's the best two-way player in the league.
01:19And that's no lie right there.
01:21So I can't wait to see this game tonight.

02:31All right, Joe, last game before the All-Star break here against Chicago.
02:33What do you want to see tonight that would leave a good impression
02:36when you're off for the next week?
02:38I mean, just the process of winning,
02:39the things that we have to get better at from the next game,
02:41the things that we have to get better at from practice yesterday.
02:44Detailed execution versus, you know,
02:45a team that's a little bit different than the times that we've played them.
02:48But they're still dangerous because they've got great personnel,
02:50obviously well coached.
02:51So we've got to make sure that we're able to carry out those details.
02:54You mentioned the Knicks game.
02:56I don't know if we tracked this,
02:57but it seemed like you set a record for most shots that went in and out.
03:00The three-point shooting has not been great in the month of February.
03:02What do you think of the shot quality you guys are getting?
03:04Yeah, shot quality is great.
03:05Shot margin is just as important.
03:06So the process of our rebounding was good,
03:08which is something that we've worked on this year.
03:09So, you know, there's times we're going to get great shots.
03:12There's times where we need to get more shots.
03:14And, you know, the process of both, you know, our shot creation has been good,
03:17but the process of our shot margin and our rebounding
03:20on both ends of the floor is good, and we need to continue that.
03:22You mentioned how the Bulls look a lot different
03:24from the first couple of times you've seen them.
03:26Obviously, one of those guys is Anthony Simons,
03:28who you were coaching just over a week ago.
03:30How does he change how they challenge you?
03:31Yeah, I mean, obviously he has the ability to make a shot
03:34from anywhere on the floor,
03:35and so our pickup point has got to be great on him.
03:37We have to have the ultimate respect for his game,
03:39and he has the ability to go on runs by himself,
03:41you know, as we've seen when he was with us.
03:43And so, you know, the best thing we can do,
03:45the respect that we can show is just defend him at a high level.
03:47So we're grateful to coach him.
03:49And, you know, he helped us win a lot of games,
03:51and now we have to go against him.
03:52We've got to be ready to defend him.
03:54Andre, good luck. Thank you.
03:55Thanks.
03:56Well, coming up, it's a bit of a revenge game
03:58for Nikola Vucevic against a team
04:00that just traded him a week ago.
04:01Last chance to watch a season before the All-Star break.
04:03We'll tip it next.
04:04We'll do it next time.
04:08We'll do it next time.
04:10Most of you people don't want enough.
04:12I put the time in it, just sweat.
04:14It's been a journey to sum it up.
04:16Wanted the pains, wanted the gains,
04:17giving the blood, straight from the veins.
04:19Yeah, it was hard.
04:20Never complained, can't be contained.
04:22No SubnoQ comment.
04:23No shot clock reset, gotta put it up.
04:25May bad shot.
04:26He backed it home.
04:27Субтитры сделал DimaTorzok
04:57This group has been excellent.
04:58A net rating of almost plus 24 per 100 possessions.
05:02Key matchup is presented by Subaru of New England.
05:05Feel the freedom of driving a brand new all-wheel drive Subaru.
05:09Eddie, it's two guys who know each other well here.
05:11Yeah, they are two guys who know each other well.
05:13They played together for, you know, half the season pretty much.
05:16And we're going to need Derek White to stomp out the Inferno.
05:21Maybe extinguish the Inferno.
05:23There it is.
05:24Hey, he lit up the Bulls twice.
05:2627 in the second half against Chicago when they came here.
05:29Then 21 against the Bulls in the Windy City.
05:32And then they traded for him.
05:33Must have liked what they saw.
05:35Health report by South Coast Health providing exceptional care from people who care.
05:40Just Tatum for the Celtics, but it sounds like he's getting closer and closer.
05:43Abby will have more on that later on in the show.
05:45For the Bulls missing a bunch of guys as their slide continues.
05:49They've dropped five games in a row.
05:52It's time now for the Taco Bell Take.
05:55Eddie, what you got?
05:57Well, I think we could punish them in the paint, number one.
06:00So we got to do that.
06:02But at the same time, play at our own pace.
06:05Don't get, like, sucked in to just being like, we're just going to try to punish them that way.
06:12We got to get stops, move to basketball.
06:15A cool moment before the game.
06:17Jalen Brown celebrated Eastern Conference Player of the Month in January.
06:23Well-deserved.
06:24Maybe a month overdue.
06:25Got that tonight.
06:26And also Brad Stephens giving his mom, Michelle, that celebratory ball for Jalen being named an All-Star starter.
06:33Also for the first time in his career.
06:35The year of Jalen continues.
06:42But one more piece of business to take care of before the All-Star break.
06:46Celtics and second in the East alone after the Knicks lost to the Pacers in overtime yesterday at Madison Square Garden.
06:55Bulls 11th place in the East and losers of five straight.
06:59Celtics control the opening tap.
07:00And away we go from TD Garden.
07:03Drew, who got their bags packed?
07:05That's what we're going to find out.
07:08Who's locked in tonight?
07:09John Goble, Sean Corbin, Danica Baruti.
07:12Our officials tonight.
07:13Kata stood up in the paint.
07:15Modish Bezelis with the steal.
07:16The top-scoring sophomore in the NBA this season.
07:19Here's Collin Sexton, the young bull, as they call him.
07:22Gets to the basket and gets fouled.
07:28So look at how he is just strong, using his body.
07:32And then creating space and getting that foul.
07:35And going to the free throw line and trying to put the bulls up early in this game right here.
07:41You know what, though?
07:42I've never seen Bruce Ellison in person.
07:44I've seen him play, and he can play the game.
07:53He just has to develop his body.
07:55Because right now his body is still like a youngster.
07:58And once he's able to get that going, I think Rezelis would be a nice piece for the Chicago Bulls.
08:04And a 6-10, 2-0-9, second-year pro.
08:07He's really the guy they're trying to build around, really him and Giddey.
08:11You saw them make a bunch of moves.
08:12They made seven trades before the deadline, most of any team in the league.
08:18White lobs it inside.
08:19Kata catch and release for two.
08:20Really good play right there with the pick and roll and late help on the weak side.
08:25And Kata keeping the ball up high and finishing.
08:28Good job by the Celtics right there.
08:30Expect the Celtics to get whatever they want in the paint against this Bulls team as Patrick Williams puts it in for three.
08:37That didn't look good when he shot it.
08:40But it went in.
08:42It looked good at the end of the shot.
08:43That's what matters.
08:45Williams, the former fourth overall pick in the draft.
08:47She was really plateaued this season numbers-wise.
08:50And the lid on the basket stays there for the Celtics.
08:53They had at least five or six of those Sunday against the Knicks.
08:57This is Rezelis with the cross.
08:58Kata shades over.
09:00No whistle at Celtics' ball.
09:02Good defense by Kata coming over to help right there.
09:06Good no call as well.
09:07She's trying to get their offense going after they only scored 89 against the Knicks.
09:16That was a season low.
09:1837% from the floor.
09:20That'll help from Jalen Brown.
09:23Our spacing was perfect in that situation.
09:26You had Kata in the dunker area, and he was able to get to his spot and take a shot from the elbow.
09:35There he is, Anfernee Simons.
09:38Celtic for half a season with a lot of highlights along the way.
09:42Tough, contested shot.
09:43Good defense from Shireman.
09:52Two minutes into the opening quarter.
09:54Celtics trailed by one.
09:57Here's White, who's scoring it at a high clip lately.
10:00Hauser's left alone.
10:01Bad idea for the Bulls.
10:02And Hauser!
10:04Now that looked pretty.
10:05Every time he shoots the ball, I think it's going in.
10:10That's high praise coming from you.
10:12Takes one to no one.
10:15Shooter's no shooter.
10:16That's right.
10:17We saw the Bulls in the month of February allowing more than 129 a game.
10:21Brusellis finds a cutting Simons, and he saves him at the end of the shot clock.
10:27Simons.
10:27Now Simons defending Hauser.
10:42Back in front.
10:43Hits the deck.
10:44Hauser left it short.
10:45Got it back.
10:45Couldn't clean it up.
10:46Third chances for Kata, and he puts it in.
10:53Billy Donovan seen enough after two offensive rebounds for the Seas there in front by two early.
10:58Hello, Drew.
10:59In case you missed it yesterday, Jason Tatum spoke with reporters for the first time since
11:04media day, and while he wouldn't set a timeline or even commit to a return this season from
11:09that ruptured Achilles, he does continue to take steps forward in his recovery.
11:14He's been recently cleared for five-on-five work, and on Monday he went through a practice
11:18with the G League Celtics at the Auerbach Center.
11:20Here now is Jason with more on what this rehab process has been like for him.
11:28Yeah, I mean, mentally it's been tough.
11:31It's been exhausting.
11:33It's been, can't stress it enough, it's been 39 weeks.
11:37It's been a lot of different phases throughout this process, whether it's physical, conditioning,
11:43trusting it.
11:44Every day I just feel a little bit better.
11:46It doesn't mean that, you know, I'm coming back or not.
11:49He's just following the plan.
11:54Yeah, for Tatum, he said it's really all about just improving by the day.
11:59He didn't give out a percentage where he is in his recovery.
12:02It's really about getting better by the day.
12:04And as you heard, they're not committing to anything, but, I mean, it's a good sign that
12:09he's back practicing.
12:10It's a great sign.
12:11And the other thing is that I would just like to see what those practices look like.
12:15Are they slow motion, are they game speed, or, you know, set, run, run, control, you know,
12:23those are things that I would like to see.
12:25But I know we're not going to be privy to that.
12:27And Simons rips the cords on a three.
12:31He can take games over in a hurry.
12:33We saw that first time.
12:35Yeah, he won about three games for us in a different half.
12:38The first half of one game and the second half of another game, and then just putting
12:43together a whole game and just not being able to stop him.
12:47No shot clock reset.
12:51Shireman pulls the cord.
12:54And Bozellis on the rebound.
12:57Now Simons has started all four games.
13:00Now he's played for Chicago.
13:02Averaging 20 in the first three.
13:04Bozellis knocks it down.
13:06All that starts from Sexton.
13:08Colin Sexton pushing the pace, collapsing the defense, and then kicking it out in an extra swing.
13:13So we're going to have to really pay attention to him because he's going to put a lot of pressure on our defense.
13:19Kata on the roll.
13:20Caught it from Brown and put it in.
13:22Mesh Kata, three for three to start.
13:26Hamey down, holding on to his left ankle.
13:29Bulls playing five on four.
13:30White got a block as Kata jogs back to the play, and Bozellis hits again.
13:37Good sign that at least he's up and he's moving.
13:39Brown does not hesitate.
13:44Bullseye on a three.
13:46How great has he been all season long?
13:49Unbelievable.
13:5029.4 points a game.
13:52That's top five in the NBA.
13:56Sexton missed it.
13:57Good rim protection from the Seas.
14:06Now Brown to the dance floor against Williams.
14:08It's good again.
14:12We can't say enough about him.
14:15I mean, think about the point where we're at right now, where we're in second place, where he's at with almost averaging 30 points.
14:22Nobody thought that coming into this season.
14:26Except him.
14:28That's the only one that needed to believe.
14:29Yeah, exactly.
14:30He knew it was in there, and he's showing it this season.
14:33Sexton hits it from the free-throw line, and Joe Mazzullo will pull his first timeout.
14:42Jalen Brown catching fire early at the guard, and he's got eight points, including back-to-back triples.
14:48Jalen Brown catching fire early at the guard, and he's got eight points, including back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back.
15:06Ant says it's a little weird being back just eight days later, but he is nothing but grateful for his time here in Boston.
15:16Tonight's prime player, the results speak for themselves, as Drew has talked about.
15:21During Ant's time, and Greeny averaged 14 points a game off the bench.
15:24His plus-minus, a plus 164, helping the Celtics get to number two in the East.
15:30And then you saw those numbers there with the Bulls, an opportunity that Simons has to showcase what he's capable of in a larger role.
15:37He's started all four games.
15:39He says, I'm trying to take all the lessons that I learned here and apply those to this new situation.
15:45But one thing he knows, this Celtics team is not going to take it easy on Anfernee, no matter how much they respect him.
15:52He says, I know they are going to play hard tonight, and I've got to be ready.
15:56Yeah, Jordan Walsh said something like that when he was chatting with the media.
16:02We've got to go crush him tonight, but a lot of love for Anfernee Simons.
16:05Made a real impression in just half a season here.
16:10Pritchard in the game, not shy, and why would he be?
16:15Player P, knocked that down, didn't even hesitate.
16:21What a pretty shot, too.
16:22Rotation was nice.
16:24Did hit nothing but the bottom.
16:25You know, one of his first touches of the night.
16:28That's the Pritchard we've seen since he moved back to his bench role.
16:32Illegal screen on the Bulls' big Nick Richards.
16:35Ugo draws it.
16:36Celtics ball.
16:37And, you know, Ugo is so good at doing these things right here.
16:40He works so hard, plays so hard.
16:43He draws offensive fouls.
16:44He gets all kind of different kind of calls that these things aren't going to show up in the stat sheet.
16:50But if you're watching a basketball game, you know how important that is for the team.
16:58Celtics with a two-point lead.
17:00Brown sweeping to the basket, punched away by Richards.
17:04Here's another new member of the Bulls.
17:06Jaden Ivey came over from Detroit.
17:10Super athletic player.
17:11Missed his first shot there.
17:15Brown turns the corner with force and drops it in.
17:19Just a three-level score.
17:21He could get to the basket.
17:23He could finish at the basket.
17:24He could make it at the free throw line, mid-range.
17:26And he could knock down a three.
17:29I mean, his game has just elevated from day one.
17:33And I remember interviewing him when he was at Cal.
17:37Before he came out into the league.
17:39And his game was not where it is right now.
17:42It's just really good to see somebody elevate and evolve like that.
17:47The 10th year in the NBA already for him.
17:49Kind of hard to believe.
17:51The only player in double figures so far with 10.
17:53As Ivey banks it home in transition.
17:57Bulls will play fast.
18:01Top five in the league in pace.
18:03Celtics are 30th.
18:05It's been an adjustment for Anthony Simons.
18:07He's a little winded in his first game with Chicago.
18:12Bruce Ellis with the block.
18:16Ron Harper Jr. in the game for the first time defending.
18:19Modish Bruce Ellis.
18:24Ivey trying to go on Pritchard.
18:26Good defense from Pritchard.
18:28Williams reigns in a triple.
18:38Bulls have started hot from downtown.
18:42Gonzalez on the cut.
18:43Out of bounds off of him.
18:45Joe Mazzula might challenge this.
18:47Chicago ball.
18:49So you look at this right here.
18:53Trying to get to the basket.
18:55Good cut.
18:56But very handsy team.
18:58You brought the ball down.
19:00Comes off your leg.
19:01Ends up being a turnover.
19:03But a good cut.
19:04I like the spacing of our offense right now.
19:06We have really good spacing.
19:09Joe is pointed to the bench.
19:10Not for a potential challenge.
19:12But for a sub.
19:13I'm guessing for Ugo.
19:15Jordan Walsh at the scorer's table.
19:18Oh.
19:19That's a backcourt.
19:20Backcourt.
19:21Or a travel, rather, on Richard's Celtics ball.
19:24For the Celtics, number 27, Jordan Walsh.
19:28We'll hear it from Joe a little bit.
19:34Maybe because he didn't kick it out there and tried to go up with the layup.
19:39Joe was not happy.
19:40Yeah, but those things right there, sometimes you got to let a guy play two things.
19:45Let him get up and down once the time and then take him out and be able to talk to him to keep his confidence up.
19:52But Joe pushes all the right buttons.
19:53He has all season.
19:57Foul on Chicago as Vucevic was posting up against his former team.
20:01Rob Dillingham is called.
20:04That's a bit of a mismatch in the post.
20:06Dillingham, 6'2", 175.
20:10Another former Celtic in the house, Gershon Yabusele.
20:13They just got him from the Knicks.
20:15You know what the funny thing is, is when you play against your former team, they know all your tendencies.
20:19And so, they know Vucevic's tendencies, and we know Anthony Simon's tendencies as well.
20:29Vucevic, oh, missed it.
20:32Walsh had it for a second.
20:34It'll stay here.
20:35They didn't know that tendency.
20:38No, they didn't know.
20:39That was a good move right there.
20:41He just, you know, didn't finish right there.
20:43Pritchard, too strong.
20:57Toward the Bulls bench, Harper keeps it alive.
21:00Three rebounds for him.
21:01Nice.
21:01And this one leads to two for Pritchard.
21:03Pritchard!
21:03Speaking of Harper, riding stars, congratulations to him for that.
21:11Yeah, he'll be on the G League team.
21:14Glad he made it, because he's going to be ineligible pretty soon.
21:16I don't know what the qualifications are, but he's playing a lot here with the big club.
21:20As Vucevic gets his first two.
21:22And this is where we could kill them at.
21:23Do you know that Chicago's been giving up so much points in the paint in February?
21:31And I'll expand on that later.
21:34The Ambucelli almost banked it in.
21:37And comes Brown the other way.
21:41JB gathers and gets fouled.
21:44Under two minutes to play in the first.
21:49Look at this little good money.
21:50Good pass in the paint.
21:51Over the right shoulder with the soft touch.
21:54Easy paper.
21:56And so I was talking about the points allowed in the paint.
21:59In February.
22:00February 1st against Miami, 72.
22:02Milwaukee, 46.
22:04Toronto, 60.
22:06Denver, 60.
22:08Brooklyn, 66.
22:10Ooh.
22:12So you're saying the Celtics should go inside, try to score in the paint?
22:15That's what they should do.
22:16They should pound the paint.
22:17And I got to give Dick Leip the credit.
22:20Because he's the one that shot me those numbers right there.
22:24And I don't know where he'd find these numbers at, but he'd be finding them.
22:29It's a beautiful mind of Dick Leip.
22:32Tonight, the Celtics are winning the points in the paint battle.
22:34Eight to four.
22:36Jalen Brown leading the way, as per usual, with 12.
22:41Up by five here as Dillingham trying to create.
22:44Richard's a wild attempt.
22:45Walsh the rebound.
22:46And this lineup out here, I don't know if you think this lineup has ever played together.
22:53Richard, Harper, Vucevic, Brown, and Walsh.
22:57I'm not sure if I've seen it before.
22:59Well, you know who we should ask?
23:00Jay Dwight, we should ask.
23:03Walsh with a nice recovery.
23:04Got the steal.
23:05Well, the Celtics try to go three for two here.
23:12Vucevic left alone.
23:14Caps.
23:15Boots for three.
23:19That's what he can't do.
23:20He just stretched big.
23:24Where he has to get better on is on the defensive end.
23:27But he's a stretch big.
23:29He can knock down shots.
23:30Spaced the floor.
23:3137% from deep this year.
23:37Ivy ends the 9-0 Celtics run.
23:41So the Celtics in the last three games were 5 for 36 from deep in the first quarter.
23:46They're 5 for 10 tonight.
23:47There's number 6.
23:50Watch your mouth.
23:51Watch your mouth.
23:53Boy, you can even get the numbers out.
23:54Peyton Richard will step back.
24:01And Dillingham quiets the crowd momentarily.
24:14The Celtics have been struggling to score in the first quarter lately.
24:18Not the case tonight.
24:19They shoot 50%.
24:2054%.
24:23Better than 50% from deep.
24:26Pritchard on his way to the basket.
24:28Drops it in again.
24:30That's buzzer beater P.
24:32Point six seconds early.
24:35He came to play tonight.
24:37Ten points for Peyton Pritchard in the first.
24:39Yeah, that was tough money too, man.
24:40I mean, the whole start of it, that's not an easy basketball move to make.
24:46An easy finish or anything like that.
24:47Fantastic.
24:50A start for the C's.
24:51Up by 9 after 12 minutes in the final game before All-Star.
24:55Welcome back.
24:57Here in Boston, the Celtics lead by 9 over the Bulls as we start the second quarter.
25:02That's on the scoreboard brought to you by Toyota's official website for deals via Toyota.com.
25:07Back here inside the guard.
25:08And the stats are by Jason Stone Injury Lawyers, official injury law firm of the Boston Celtics.
25:13Injured?
25:14Better phone stone.
25:17Pritchard catalyzing the Celtics bench with ten.
25:21Vucevic has the other five.
25:26Here is Rob Dillingham, one of the shiftiest players in the league, but Pritchard took his cookies.
25:31Three on three, Pritchard all the way.
25:33Out to Hauser.
25:37White kept it alive.
25:39What a play from Derek White.
25:41Tommy Point.
25:43And then Pritchard finds him.
25:45White all over the place on this possession.
25:47Vucevic sends it with two.
25:49Vucevic.
25:49And while that defensive possession was going on for the Celtics, I was looking at their energy.
25:56And I was like, I like how they're moving.
25:58It's stripped by White off of Sexton's Celtics ball.
26:02I see their energy, but I think it all starts with Jordan Walsh.
26:05His pickup points is high.
26:08He's fighting over screens.
26:10And then Peyton Pritchard is switching.
26:12That's contagious, man.
26:13Things like that are contagious in the basketball game.
26:19White too strong.
26:20Simons the rebound.
26:22Switches it ahead for Ivy.
26:24Right back to the Inferno.
26:27Off the rim and Vucevic the rebound.
26:29We can't call him that now.
26:31Not allowed?
26:32No.
26:32How about Pritchard?
26:34That'll be an illegal screen on Vucevic.
26:36He said Ivy grabbed him.
26:40First foul on the big man.
26:45Let's see how this looks right here.
26:48Yeah, it's a movement screen.
26:49You can't do that and extend your arms.
26:51It's going to get called for a foul every single time.
27:05Sexton too strong.
27:07Pritchard the rebound.
27:09You said Belly has got – he a BMW.
27:13Body made wrong.
27:17You got the ball of the number 28 here, Sean Young.
27:20He's gotten in shape since he was with the Celtics at the start of his career.
27:31BMW.
27:32He's not the one you want to drive.
27:35There is Pritchard.
27:38Dillingham and Yabu swarmed him.
27:41Now, Bussel out of the ground.
27:42That BMW showing off the motor.
27:47And a timeout is called by Chicago.
27:48The option has said nothing.
27:50Heard you.
27:51Heard you from the floor.
27:53Can we still call him the dancing baron?
27:55I'm not calling him BMW.

28:07Well, a couple of former Celtics on the floor right now for the Bulls,

28:26How about this little nugget from Dick Light?
28:29Yabu is the first in NBA history to play for the Celtics, Sixers, Knicks, and Bulls.
28:34He finally got out of the Atlantic Division now in Chicago.
28:37That is very interesting.
28:40But you know what?
28:41I got another one.
28:42I can't talk bad about him because I was in the bad body club, too, when I played.
28:47I didn't have no six-pack or anything like that.
28:50But look at this.
28:51Walsh.
28:51Ooh, and the energy and the pilfer and the punks.
28:54That's what I was talking about.
28:55Remember I said his pickup point where he's picking them up,
28:58he's putting pressure on them,
28:59and it seemed like the rest of the defense kind of, like, follows suit.
29:02Look where he's picking them up at half court.
29:04He was the one who said,
29:05we're not going to go easy on Anthony Simons in his return to the Garden.
29:09And he just picked his pocket, almost had another steal there.
29:13This is an 18-4 extended run for the Seasers.
29:17Sexton lays in.
29:18You know why he said he ain't going to go easy on it?
29:21Because he was taking his minutes.
29:23Tell him.
29:29White.
29:29Oh, gets inside for the layup.
29:31Very quick.
29:45Dillingham missed it.
29:46Walsh the rebound.
29:48Outlet to Pritchard on the break.
29:49Matched up with Simons.
29:51Houser.
29:55Bullseye.
29:57Just how quick he gets that off.
30:00His hand.
30:01As soon as he catches it, it goes straight up.
30:03There's no dip down with the ball.
30:06There's no wasted motion.
30:08It's catch and shoot.
30:10Pure shooter right there.
30:11Walsh called for the foul in the backcourt.
30:15I love seeing stuff like that.
30:17The foul was on number 27, Jordan Walsh.
30:19That's his first.
30:20Not the foul, but the shot.
30:21The shot was nice.
30:25Uchovic hits the bench, as does Jaboucelli.
30:29And you see Keita back in there after.
30:31Looks like he might have tweaked an ankle.
30:33There's Walsh again with a high pickup point on Simons.
30:41Dilling it so quick.
30:43Houser boards the miss.
30:51White slow plays it.
30:54Walsh ends up with it.
30:56Gets inside and scores.
30:58He's locked in.
31:00He's locked in.
31:01And I always say this, Dad.
31:02When somebody's locked in defensively,
31:04it seems like offense usually comes a little bit easier for him.
31:08That's where he has earned his money this year,
31:11with Jordan Walsh on the defensive end.
31:13That time, Simons goes with a baby hook.
31:18Seven points for Anfernee Simons.
31:20High score for Chicago.
31:25Pritchard turns the corner on Richards.
31:27Oh, put him in the weight room.
31:28Yeah, that was a gangster basket right there.
31:30That's what I call a gangster basket.
31:32That was a big fella that he pushed off like that
31:34and created his face.
31:37Loves going up against those big guys.
31:39White with the steal.
31:41Seven turnovers against the Bulls.
31:46K to the early post up against Simons,
31:49who just wraps up his old teammate.
31:53So just check out the pickup point right there.
31:55Using his long arms, his reach.
31:58Getting that steal and just going up to the basket and finishing.
32:01And then Jordan Walsh, a plus 19 in eight minutes.
32:16Making it impossible to take him off the floor.
32:18Richard again with that matchup on Richards.
32:26Ridiculous.
32:28It's just a space that he can create.
32:31You know, whether it be underneath the basket
32:33or creating space for his step back.
32:37That's a Hooper's Hooper right there.
32:38He's got those 14 points and four assists.
32:51Tata rebounds.
32:52The Puzelas miss.
32:55Pritchard's feeling it.
32:56Navigating, surveying, out to White.
33:06Keeps it hot for Hauser.
33:09Cash is out from downtown.
33:11Hauser!
33:12Three!
33:15From Derrick Lake.
33:17Timeout Bulls.

33:40It's time now for the FW Web Assist.
33:43Eddie, you love this spacing.
33:44Yeah, look at the spacing on that.
33:45Derrick White relocates to the corner and then
33:47Sam Hauser not just standing still,
33:50putting a lot of pressure on the defense
33:51by Peyton Pritchard getting into the lane
33:54and kicking it to the corner.
33:55And then that extra pass, wide open shot.
33:58Sam Hauser shoots that thing.
33:59Look how pretty that looked.
34:01Knocks it down.
34:02First assist with heating, pipe, valves, fire protection,
34:04and more of the pros go to FW Web.
34:09You think the spacing tonight's been better than it has lately?
34:11Yes, like the last three games, our spacing had a little tight.
34:14And I think that's when Vooch came over
34:16trying to figure out the spacing for this team.
34:18And, you know, those things take time.
34:23And since he's not on the court right now,
34:25these guys have been playing together.
34:27So they're spacing.
34:28They understand where they're going to be at
34:29and things like that.
34:30So I like the pickup points as well on defense.
34:37Jordan Walsh has been fantastic tonight with that.
34:40White for three.
34:42Celts making it rain.
34:449 of 14 from distance above 64%.
34:52That's coming off their worst three-point shooting game of the season
34:55where they were 17% against the Knicks.
34:57Cato, the stuff on Richards.
35:05White, top of the key again, this time from the mid-range.
35:08He got himself another good look.
35:12Just too strong.
35:13Here comes Bruce Ellis.
35:20Sexton slows it down.
35:22Likes the matchup against Cato.
35:25Tough test for the big man here.
35:27Sexton shoots over him and knocks it in.
35:29Oh, and he says something to Joe.
35:33Joe starts talking back to him.
35:34A little spicy out here.
35:38I like that.
35:42Fouls on Williams before the dunk by Walsh.
35:47We'll be a side out for the Seas.
35:48Number 44, Henry Williams, his first third team haul.
35:54I don't know what Sexton said to Joe,
35:56or maybe he just gave him a hand gesture.
35:58I'm not sure.
35:59Well, it don't even matter.
36:01You know it don't take anything to get Joe going.
36:03He admitted the other day to making stuff up in his brain for motivation.
36:09I'm telling you, that's what all of the greats do.
36:12Man, I'm telling you.
36:13Kevin Garnett did it all the time.
36:17You know, I'm quite sure Pat Riley did it, just didn't tell us.
36:21MJ did it for sure.
36:22Oh, ain't no question.
36:25He took that personally.
36:27Whatever Colin Sexton just did, I think Joe took that personally.
36:29Yeah, he did.
36:30So after it happened, now they didn't have the camera on him,
36:35but after it happened, he spun around like three times.
36:37He spun, looked at the bench, spun back, then he spun again,
36:40and then he looked at it, and then he was like kind of with a little mug on his face.
36:45Like, yeah, he took that personally right there.
36:48Five to shoot for Brown.
36:52He's doubled late, shot clocked White.
36:55He thrives in those situations.
36:57He's fouled.
36:59And free throw's coming for Derek White.
37:02Followed by Kata.
37:03Doesn't count.
37:03The White to the line.
37:04You can hand a grenade sometimes with three seconds left.
37:09You just got to make something happen,
37:11and Derek White went to the basket and, you know,
37:13ended up getting fouled, get two free throws out of this thing.
37:16Third foul on Nick Richards.
37:22Right to the line.
37:23He's got five points, five assists.
37:24Celtics as a team have 13 dimes.
37:27And here's a message from FanDuel.

37:51Vucevic back in there in place of Kata.
38:00D. White averaging 19 over his last three games.
38:13Look at the pickup point right here.
38:25Dillingham to the corner.
38:26Sexton drives it, kicks it.
38:29Ivy shoots it.
38:33Sees are a plus 11 on the glass.
38:3620 to 9.
38:38Brown goes down.
38:39No whistle on Williams.
38:43They'll be letting John Goble know that should have been a foul
38:45as Dillingham gets to the cup.
38:48That's the one thing Vucevic has to work on is defense right there
38:51and have a little bit more resistance.
38:53That was too easy for Dillingham.
38:56Oh, nice find.
38:58Walsh on the cut.
38:59Gives it up.
38:59White right back to Vucevic.
39:01Oh, yeah!
39:03Vucevic, ball three!
39:06But he can do that.
39:07Derek White.
39:12And Vucevic, one of the most skilled bigs in the league.
39:15And that was gorgeous ball movement.
39:17White finds the cutting Vucevic out to Walsh.
39:25Offensive rebound for the big fella.
39:28Jordan hangs, hits, and he's fouled.
39:31He balling.
39:33Jordan Walsh is out here balling right now.
39:35I mean, I'm talking about the effort that he's putting out on the defensive end,
39:39and then he's getting the opportunity right here.
39:41You should check it out.
39:43After a missed three, cuts, hangs in the air, tosses it in against the and one,
39:48goes to the free throw line right here.
39:50But it's all starting with his defense.
39:52On the defensive end, he is locked in, and you can see it.
39:59Eddie, who is the guy you played with who were coming off the bench
40:03and just provide energy like that defensively, offensively?
40:08Offensively?
40:09Who's the guy?
40:10I mean, I know you're that guy offensively.
40:11How about defensively?
40:13T.A.
40:13Tony Allen.
40:17It was Tony Allen.
40:18Would the rest of the team feed off of that?
40:20Of course.
40:22But you know what?
40:23The thing is that we really never—that team, that 2018, we never had to feed off of that.
40:30We never had to find our own energy.
40:32We had the energy.
40:34We had the battery already, and that was Kevin Garnett.
40:3822 on that clock?
40:40He going crazy.
40:41Don't talk to him.
40:43He's going to be in his mode.
40:45He's sweating.
40:47He's over there in his own little world,
40:49and everybody else fed off of that.
40:51And, you know, we just followed suit with him.
40:54He was definitely the leader of that team,
40:56even though Paul was the face of the franchise.
40:59But he was the leader of the team.
41:01He had the battery.
41:05He was always charged.
41:06Oh, man.
41:10After the IV in, Juan Brown gets two back on this end.
41:14Dillingham, after the driving kick, it ends up with Simons.
41:28Gonzalez taps it out to Pritchard.
41:35JB, man on a mission.
41:37Their paint protection is, there is none.
41:45Lacking.
41:48Oh, Dillingham couldn't spin at home.
41:51He's behind the play.
41:53See if the Celtics can add to this lead.
41:58Vucevic, the offensive rebound.
41:59The post against Simons.
42:04Inside, Pritchard lost the handle.
42:07Out of bounds, Chicago ball.
42:09For Chicago number 44, Patrick Williams back into the game,
42:13replacing Jaden Ivey.
42:15Just how easy is this right here?
42:17Spin move, be strong, finish.
42:19There is no rim protector that Chicago has
42:22when you start looking out there on the floor,
42:24and we're taking advantage of that.
42:25They're playing Yabusele at center.
42:33It's just 6-7.
42:39Simons short rims it.
42:43This is a 27-point Celtics lead.
42:47Yabusele called for the foul against Brown.
42:49And that was a hack right there.
42:53Chicago foul is on number 28.
42:55I mean, come on.
42:56This is a hack right here.
42:57This ain't even a regular bat.
42:59Look at that right there.
43:01That's almost a tackle.
43:02Football season is over with.
43:03We playing hoop right now.
43:15Yeah, I wouldn't want to get hit by him.
43:17No, you know that hurt.
43:22He might be a BMW.
43:24Jalen Brown is a Ferrari.
43:26Ain't no question about that.

43:37Murky big man, Lachlan Ulbrich from Australia, checks in for the first time.
43:49When the Bulls were here last time, Scal said Ulbrich plays like Scal did.
43:53See if you see the resemblance, Eddie.
43:5547 at Ren Black.
43:57I'm going to check him out.
43:58The Celtics' ninth time with at least 70 points in the first half this year.
44:05Williams missed it.
44:06Ulbrich there on the cleanup.
44:08I don't know if Scal was doing that.
44:14The good news is he's definitely not watching right now,
44:17so he's not going to have to defend himself.
44:20Oh, Pritchard almost behind the backboard.
44:23Pritchard!
44:28Final minute of the first half.
44:41Ulbrich drives it, keeps his pivot foot down into Vucevic.
44:45Can't finish with a left.
44:47He was working though.
44:48He was trying.
44:51Tried, denied.
44:58Celtics up by 29, their largest lead tonight.
45:01Vucevic looking for a whistle.
45:03There is none.
45:06Bruzelis just slammed on the gas, threw it out of bounds,
45:09but it's Bulls' ball somehow.
45:11And Bruzelis got bounced.
45:18Check this out.
45:19Bruzelis has bounced, so you do have to be careful
45:21when you're messing with him.
45:23But look at Ugo.
45:26I don't know how that's Chicago ball.
45:28I know there was a strip from, it looked like D-White stripte.
45:32But the ball still went that way, so it should be Celtic ball.
45:38Simons cold here.
45:40Got his own offensive rebound.
45:43Four or five second difference.
45:45Shot clock and game clock.
45:46Dillingham steps inside.
45:49Gonzalez went straight up and called for a foul.
45:51I love Ugo's energy.
45:58He plays hard.
46:00And he's not going to give up anything easy.
46:02He's going to contest everything.
46:04He's going to run the floor hard.
46:06He's going to play.
46:06Everything that he does is extremely hard when he plays.
46:10And you've got to respect that line right there,
46:13especially when at the end of the day,
46:16your minutes are flip-flopping.
46:18You don't know if you're going to play.
46:20You don't know if you're going to get X amount of minutes.
46:23Like, that's a level of professionalism that, you know,
46:27a lot of people don't have.
46:28Tonight, after Celtics postgame live,
