00:00I have never performed in Europe. Does it feel different? Do they laugh at different things?
00:04Is the rhythm the same? Actually, they get so much American television. Okay. I started there in 1989
00:10and I met all these people when they were young comics and I said, hey, which way to the loo?
00:16And they're like, you don't talk down to us. The great thing about working in Europe is there's no
00:20and they don't put up with pandering. And that's one of the things I learned from working in Europe
00:25is how much we as Americans pander. The first line on my audition at the comedy store in London,
00:31I said, it's great to be here in London. And the guy yells, a bullsh**. And if I didn't come
00:36back,
00:36I was over. I said, you're right. It's a sh**hole. Smells like piss. And the crowd cheered because I had
00:4110 minutes and all the comics and the guy who ran the place, they were like, make us laugh American.
00:47There's no pandering over there. They don't put up with that. Let's hear it for the troops.
00:51I'm going to go, hey, ladies and gentlemen, f**k the troops.
