Taiwan’s Vice Premier Cheng Li-chiun and chief trade negotiator Yang Jen-ni have departed for Washington for what officials describe as the final round of talks on a Taiwan-US trade deal. Once finalized, the deal will be made public in full and sent to the legislature for a vote.
