00:17and according to a recent Zillow study where potential buyers ranked houses and how much they'd pay
00:22based on the exterior and door color, the differences were thousands of dollars apart.
00:28On one end of the spectrum, pink doors made houses look cheap and shabby,
00:33resulting in an average decrease in value of over $6,500.
00:38And on the other end, painting your door black can increase the value of your house by an average of $6,449.
00:48So much for the saying, don't judge a book by its cover.
00:52According to Verenda, the top color trend of 2022 is a gray-green,
00:57as agreed upon by leading paint companies Benjamin Moore, PPG, and Sherwin-Williams.
