00:00G'day, it's Steve and Katrina Sanders from Ballybourne, Murray Grays on the edge of the Clare
00:10Valley. Hi, I'm Amy Nankerville from Asheville, Murray Grays here at our sale at Tung Kierlo,
00:16our first beef week. We've been in it since inception but that's no real reason to still
00:21be in it. We're in it because we just think it's a really good way to showcase our herd and our
00:27sower bulls and I think it's a really good day. On display here today at Meadows there are
00:3422 or three bulls that we've got coming up for auction on Saturday. So our sale is on March the
00:4011th here at Stony Point, Narracourt and at the moment we've catalogued 42 bulls and we're doing
00:47a specially selected pick of the pen of six heifers. We have two bulls for sale, nine females
00:56and we just wanted to be part of beef week just for a little bit of exposure as we're a new stud and
01:01yeah this is the first one so we're excited to see how the day goes. So we've got 45 bulls
01:06on offer on Monday the 23rd, we've got them on display and we've got a group of young cows,
01:13group of teadrop rising four-year-old cows. A lot of our normal customers have been through,
01:19a lot of them are local, have had some interest from as far away as New South Wales and people
01:25have come just to see some of the different broad lines that I've been talking about. I suppose
01:30geographically we seem to be either first or last and so we had visitors here at eight o'clock this
01:35morning and there's been quite a steady stream through which has been really good looking at
01:40both breeds so there's certainly been people here to come and look at the Angus and there's been
01:43a number of people here obviously looking at the shortlands as well. We love the field days,
01:49it's a great opportunity for our clients to come and visit us, have a look at what animals we've
01:53got on display and have a bit of a barbie and a few beers.
