00:00Welcome back to In the Bed with Babs. We have a very fun episode for you today.
00:06It's all about the promotion of the all-girls pajama party going down February 14th at Lit Nightclub in downtown Tampa.
00:14We got alcohol. My girl Meredith is coming through. My girl Victoria Skye is coming through.
00:20My girl DJ Luna is coming through. And I got a church guest.
00:24Oh, I forgot about the church guest, so we're going to have to stop drinking.
00:27And I'm probably going to have to get changed in my regular clothes, too.
00:30But, you know, it is what it is. Like the Lord says, come as you are.
00:34Welcome to another edition of In the Bed with Babs. The show starts now.
00:41In the Bed with Babs.
00:45And we're back. You see, we got the toesies out. I got my girls in the bed with Babs today.
00:52Now, today's episode, you're going to get to know a little bit more about us.
00:56So, I'm going to go down the line. I'm going to have the ladies tell you who they are and what it is they do.
01:02All right. First, we're going to start with Victoria Skye.
01:05What's up, you guys? Of course, she just said my name.
01:08And I would like to say that I am the CEO and president of BB Spirits.
01:12I'm the first black female in Tampa to own our own spirit brand with products made in Tampa, who's actually from Tampa.
01:18Oh. Period.
01:19And you know my girl, Meredith. But, you know, I don't know if you ever gave, like, a formal introduction.
01:24Hi, my name is Meredith Andrade. I am a co-host on Wild 94.1. And then I also do Q105 middays after that.
01:32And, of course, I'm in the bed with Babs every week. Period.
01:35And DJ Luna.
01:37Hello, hello, hello. My name is DJ La Luna.
01:39And I am a female DJ in the Tampa Bay area and all surrounding areas.
01:45Hey, so shout out to these ladies. We were here earlier today, so sorry if I seem a little tipsy.
01:50We were shooting some BTS, some footage for our all-girls pajama party going down at Lit Night Club in Tampa.
01:57We're going to have, like, a link or where you can get the tickets here in this episode.
02:01So you better be there. Okay. Period.
02:03We're going to play fun games. It's going to be one big sexy time.
02:06So Victoria Skye brought her After Dark.
02:10Yes, After Dark Rum.
02:11Yummy.
02:12After Dark Rum with us today.
02:14And we are going to play a game of Never Have I Ever.
02:18So I'm going to try. I'm kind of heavy-handed.
02:22So, sorry, sorry, sorry.
02:23That's okay.
02:24So the rules are if you've never done it, you drink or if you have done it, you drink.
02:30If you've never.
02:31Or do we just drink?
02:34I mean, hey.
02:34What are the rules?
02:36Viva's a generation.
02:38Is it when you drink?
02:40One of our camera guys.
02:41I think it's you drink when you have done it.
02:44Yeah.
02:44Okay, so when you have done it, you drink.
02:46Okay, do you want me to start it off?
02:47Yeah, you can start it off.
02:48Okay, Never Have I Ever Skinny Dipped Before.
02:56Okay, okay.
02:58All right.
02:59Woo-hoo.
02:59Never Have I Ever Had a Threesome.
03:05What are the rules again?
03:07If you've done it, then you drink.
03:08They just let me out here on the desert.
03:10Oh.
03:10No.
03:14The girl you met with.
03:18Hey.
03:19Wait.
03:21Never Have I Ever Been Arrested.
03:24I've never been arrested.
03:26I know that's right.
03:27Yeah.
03:28Because I'm a thug.
03:29Never Have I Sent A Naughty Video To A Man That I Was Dating While He Was At Work.
03:45Never Have I Ever Enjoyed Myself In The Car Before.
03:52Oh, girl, I ain't got 10.
03:53I ain't got 10.
03:57Am I going to be the only one drunk here?
03:58Never Have I Ever Been With A Married Man or A Man In Relationship, but I didn't know
04:06he was in a, I didn't know he was in a relationship and he lied to me.
04:09And then I found out later.
04:14Now, Meredith, you went viral on TikTok about this.
04:18Yeah, I did.
04:18Please get into it.
04:20Wedding rings come off and yeah, he was definitely married in the military.
04:24And then after we broke up, not only did he steal some jewelry of mine, but he also gave
04:29it to his wife.
04:30And then his wife called me six months later asking me if I had an affair with him.
04:33And I told her everything.
04:35I didn't know.
04:36I had no idea.
04:37Did you, did you talk to him after?
04:39No.
04:40He was so hot though.
04:41Oh my God.
04:42Probably one of the finest men I ever, he was like candy.
04:45I was, you know, it was a good time.
04:47Yeah, I was buying one.
04:47It was, I, great.
04:49Well, Meredith knows all about mine because weren't you in the studio when we had to call
04:53the girl?
04:54Yes.
04:54Because I was, okay, check this out.
04:57Check this out, chat.
04:59I was in a relationship with a man who had five kids and I did not even know.
05:04I thought he had one child.
05:06How I found out is one day I was in his car and this number kept calling, calling, calling
05:11on the car phone.
05:12And so I saved it in my phone.
05:15I called it when I was at work in the studio with Meredith.
05:18The girl was like, yes, I know him.
05:20And we have five kids together.
05:23Yeah.
05:24That's a lot.
05:25It was a lot.
05:26So I remember you walking out and being like, I just found out he has five kids.
05:29Five, five to my zero.
05:31You know what I'm saying?
05:32But you know, Victoria, Victoria has kids.
05:36I do.
05:36But Victoria got that bag.
05:38Okay.
05:39Yeah.
05:39Victoria got that bag.
05:40Victoria got that bag.
05:41Um, never have I ever been flued out, flown out somewhere by me.
05:51Most exotic place you've got flown out.
05:57Mine was Mexico and it was Oprah.
06:02We were staying at Oprah's next door neighbor's house.
06:05I don't even want to say mine.
06:08Staff on staff on staff.
06:10She was on Oprah's Island.
06:12What about you, Luna?
06:13Most exotic place?
06:14Most exotic?
06:15I would say Bali.
06:18Ooh.
06:19Okay.
06:20So I don't even want to say mine because I was just going to say downtown in Philly.
06:26They're talking about exotic places.
06:28All right, so never have I ever cheated on a man.
06:37What's the technicalities?
06:39Yeah, there is a technicality.
06:41There's an explanation.
06:42There's an explanation.
06:43With us girls, yeah.
06:45With us girls, it's always an explanation.
06:47We only cheat if you're treating us bad or you cheat on us first.
06:51If the relationship is great, we don't cheat.
06:54Men, you can do everything for a man.
06:57Be there for a man.
06:58Cook clean for a man.
06:59Help.
06:59You might be doing 50-50.
07:01You might be paying all the bills.
07:03And he will still not be satisfied.
07:04Mine was back and forth, breakup, back together.
07:06And after like the sixth time, I was like, I'm going to put a nail in this coffin.
07:09And I did.
07:10How has dating, I know Meredith is married.
07:13Anybody else married here?
07:14No.
07:14No.
07:15No.
07:17Everything is situational.
07:19Everything is situational.
07:20How, does anyone need more alcohol?
07:23Are we good?
07:23I do.
07:24Shout out to Victoria Skye.
07:25Get your Victoria Skye.
07:26This is delicious.
07:27This is very good.
07:28And you know what I like about all, oh, sorry.
07:30I like about all these girls is they are girls, girls that are sitting on the bed here with
07:34me.
07:34Very supportive.
07:35Very supportive and all doing their thing in the industry.
07:38So we're going to have their Instagrams, you know, where you can get links.
07:42Please book my girl DJ Luna to DJ your party, okay?
07:45One of the best girl DJs in Florida.
07:47Get your alcohol, best alcohol from Victoria.
07:50From Victoria Skye, my girl Meredith, hostess with the mostest, okay?
07:54And of course, Babs.
07:55Yes.
07:55And the Babs.
07:56Cheers to Babs.
07:57Cheers.
07:57Cheers.
07:58Cheers.
08:00So how has dating been in the Tampa Bay area for you guys?
08:05These men are crazy.
08:09They are.
08:10They're babies.
08:12They're babies.
08:13They're men child.
08:14Would you prefer a more mature man or like a little bit older?
08:19I'd like, well, it's not even about age, but I'd like a very masculine man.
08:23One that knows how to take control.
08:26Because I'm a Scorpio.
08:27So I can be a little feisty.
08:28So if you're sensitive and all that, like, I'm not for you.
08:31Do you think men, a lot of men are living in their soft girl era right now?
08:37Can I curse?
08:38Yeah.
08:38Because I feel like they live in their soft bitch era.
08:40Yeah.
08:42Ballerinas.
08:43Ballerinas.
08:44I mean, that kind of girl, you know, you can still be prissy, but bitches.
08:48Yeah.
08:49Bitches.
08:49And not you guys.
08:50We have guys like here helping us or filming us.
08:53Not you guys.
08:53But, you know, just certain guys in the Tampa Bay area.
08:57Yeah.
08:57I don't know.
08:58I feel like a lot of, you know, a lot of like my, sometimes he's my co-host.
09:02He's my DJ, C. Nasty.
09:03He says that a lot of women are so masculine these days.
09:07But I feel like it's kind of because we have to be.
09:09Because the men have become so, like, soft.
09:12And we have to act in our survival mode.
09:16I feel like that gets thrown around very lightly.
09:18Because if you know what you want, you take control of your life, you're considered masculine.
09:22But maybe, just maybe, you're just a woman and they're just a soft man.
09:27I think the gadget is, you said dating in the Tampa Bay area.
09:30Don't.
09:31Exactly.
09:31Don't.
09:32Get out of Tampa.
09:32Get out of Tampa Bay.
09:34Go down to Naples and get you a chicken.
09:37Go out the state.
09:38Go out the state.
09:38Wait.
09:38Go out the state.
09:39But the New Yorkers.
09:40New Yorkers are good?
09:41Okay.
09:42Oh, wait, wait.
09:43Never have I ever dated a millionaire before.
09:47Yeah.
09:49I dated a millionaire, but I was dumb because I ain't get no millions.
09:53Well, listen, we're coming back from commercial with more.
09:57Welcome to In the Bed with Babs.
09:58We're having a slumber party.
10:00Shout out to Victoria, Sky, Meredith, and my girl DJ Luna.
10:04Hang out.
10:05We'll be back.
10:06I didn't get millions, but I was at the Super Bowl.
10:10And you sure did.
10:11I was at the Super Bowl when the Bucks played the Kansas City Chiefs.
10:15Girl, tell us.
10:15Oh.
10:16Welcome back to In the Bed with Babs.
10:26It is the slumber party edition.
10:28Of course, I got my girls here with me.
10:30We're a little tipsy.
10:31Victoria, Sky, Meredith, DJ, La Luna.
10:34We're playing Never Have I Ever.
10:36Now, you guys have some more questions.
10:37Now, you had a question for us.
10:40Okay.
10:40You want me to ask?
10:41Yeah.
10:41Wait, what game are we playing again?
10:44Never Have I Ever.
10:46Never Have I Ever got a guy named Tats with him.
10:50Ooh.
10:52Okay.
10:54Okay.
10:55Look, I drank to that.
10:57I know.
10:57Listen.
10:58Where is it?
10:58I said I'm not doing it anymore.
11:00So, this is my redneck boyfriend.
11:03His name was Ken, so I got a K for him.
11:06Did you say Ken?
11:07Ken.
11:07It was Ken.
11:08And now, I used to have, this was, did I ever tell you this very day?
11:14Mm-mm.
11:14You better tell me now.
11:15I don't know if I want to say it.
11:16Okay.
11:17Okay.
11:18Hey.
11:20So, I was married.
11:24Okay.
11:25Babs.
11:25That's for a little bit.
11:27Babs.
11:28How long have I known you for?
11:29I have Mrs. Schindle tattooed here, but it's a cover-up.
11:34That's a little bit.
11:34I got it at Davi's shop.
11:35Yeah.
11:36A Mrs. Schindle tattoo here, and-
11:39Girl, you better tell me.
11:40I have my ex-boyfriend's S-H-O tattooed on my ass, but my real name is Chandra.
11:46So, if anything, I could just get the stem added to the O in the N-B-R-A.
11:50Yeah, make it make sense.
11:51Yeah.
11:52I will never do it again.
11:53Like Lil Wayne says, Barty mocked her like a Subway in Harlem.
11:56I will never do that again.
11:58But, what about you, Victoria?
11:59You got a lot.
12:00Oh, man.
12:01Can I pee the pills?
12:02Yeah.
12:03Drink again.
12:04Drink again, drink again.
12:08All right.
12:08So, okay.
12:09How about this one?
12:11I actually have a name tattoo right here, but you covered it up.
12:13I covered it up.
12:15Never have I ever.
12:16Now, I don't know.
12:17Never have I ever dated a man who is intimate.
12:21I don't know.
12:22Mm-mm.
12:22I feel like-
12:23I'm never covering it up.
12:24I don't know.
12:24Mm-hmm.
12:25They could be on the DL.
12:26I feel like, yeah.
12:27Do you think we all have-
12:28Would you mind like openly dating a pansexual?
12:30Like, somebody who just-
12:32Yeah, I've never-
12:33I'm pretty sure we all have, but I don't know if we've dated a man who's intimate.
12:38I hope for afraid.
12:38I hope not.
12:39I don't think so.
12:40Probably did.
12:41Yeah.
12:41Yeah.
12:41You never know.
12:42You never know.
12:43Yeah.
12:43That's true.
12:44You never know.
12:44Yeah.
12:44But, voluntarily, no.
12:46Voluntarily, no.
12:47I did this segment on the radio, and this lady called up and said she caught her man in
12:53the garage with another man, but then she said it was the same man that they had a threesome
12:59with.
12:59Okay.
13:00So, I feel like if- because, you know, like, I've had threesomes, but a man would be like,
13:04oh, I would go get a girl.
13:07Right.
13:07But if a man says, go get another man, like, he's in the guys.
13:10Yeah, I have never had a threesome with two men.
13:12It was always another woman.
13:14Nothing with the choo-choo.
13:16Yeah, that's a train.
13:16That's a train.
13:17See, that's what-
13:17That's a train.
13:18Yeah, while I'm from, that's considered a train.
13:19That's a gangbang.
13:20Never have I ever said, I love you first in a relationship.
13:27More for y'all.
13:32We go outside every time.
13:34Cheers.
13:34Love them all.
13:37Love them all.
13:38Never have I dated an NFL player.
13:42Wait.
13:46It took me a second.
13:47I forgot.
13:48Hey, listen.
13:48I didn't get millions, but I was at the Super Bowl.
13:52And you sure did.
13:53I was at the Super Bowl when the Bucks played the Kansas City Chiefs.
13:57Girl, you coming in.
14:00That was a good game to be at, too.
14:01That was a good game.
14:02All right.
14:03Who's, you got a question first, Luda?
14:04Um, hmm.
14:07Hmm.
14:07Jeez.
14:08Jeez.
14:10Never have I ever done public nudity.
14:14Public nudity?
14:16Yeah, like, been public beaches.
14:18Like, flashed?
14:20Oh, like, nude beaches.
14:22Oh, I've done that.
14:23Yeah.
14:24Yeah.
14:24Yeah.
14:25But you know what's crazy about nude beaches?
14:26It's all, like, older people.
14:28It is.
14:29It is.
14:29So this is the only time I didn't drink?
14:31Oh, Lord.
14:32You need some more.
14:33You need some more.
14:34Hey.
14:36Sorry, I don't mean to tell it.
14:38But it's so good.
14:39It tastes good.
14:39Yeah.
14:40When I went to St. Martin, half of the island is French, and it's just nudity.
14:45Okay.
14:46And the other half, just, you know, people wear clothes.
14:48St. Martin is on the...
14:49Yes, it is.
14:50So if you're going to take a cruise or something, definitely go there.
14:52St. Martin.
14:52So do you guys have any wild, like, hookup stories?
14:57Like, what's the...
14:58So one segment that I do on my show on the radio, it blows up.
15:01Where's the craziest place you've had sex?
15:05Craziest.
15:05Oh, I'm thinking about all the places.
15:14Well, let's see here.
15:15Beach, movie theater, cul-de-sac, pool, jacuzzi.
15:21You guys do all those?
15:23That's not that crazy, but I'm just trying to go down the list.
15:26Yeah, yeah, yeah.
15:26Yeah.
15:26You guys hook up in a movie theater?
15:28I haven't.
15:29No.
15:30Mine.
15:31She's like, yeah.
15:32I don't know your days, but we're mine.
15:33We're mine.
15:34Yeah, I don't think I've had any, like, super, like, crazy places.
15:38What about a balcony?
15:39Balcony.
15:40Is that crazy?
15:41Is that considered crazy?
15:43Because I drink it.
15:44Some people would consider that crazy because people can see you and watch you.
15:47I'll drink this whole thing.
15:47Yeah, one of my exes lived in Chicago.
15:50Doesn't that have a whole purpose of going on a vacation?
15:52Yeah.
15:52There's a balcony.
15:53You know what it's for.
15:54How about the studio?
15:56You guys ever.
15:56At work?
15:57Sure.
15:58No.
15:59Oh, just in a musical studio?
16:01Oh, yeah.
16:02No, at work.
16:03Let's go with at work.
16:04Okay.
16:05Never have I hooked up with a co-worker?
16:08Ooh.
16:10Meredith threw shade at me one time because I went on Plead the Fifth on Orlando on the
16:14freak show.
16:15And I said, I hooked up with this co-worker and he was a street teamer.
16:19And she goes, did he drive the station van?
16:23It's a good question.
16:25It also narrowed it down for me.
16:28Let's try to figure it out.
16:29But next time I'm going to go up the ladder.
16:31You know, you got to go up the ladder.
16:32You got to go up the ladder.
16:33Never have I ever hooked up with a boss.
16:36I don't know.
16:37Like somebody you've worked for.
16:40I hooked up with my boss.
16:42I hooked up with my boss.
16:44And, yeah, I mean, he still helps me out to this day.
16:49It's not Orlando Davis, if you're watching.
16:52But I haven't been with a boss before.
16:55Yeah.
16:56So how does it just feel to be women in this entertainment industry?
17:00I want to ask you guys that before we, like, close it out.
17:03It's challenging.
17:04It's very challenging.
17:05I mean, just Saturday, somebody licked me on my back.
17:08Licked you?
17:09Licked you?
17:09Mm-hmm.
17:10Why?
17:11I don't know.
17:11I was feeling the kryptonite, I guess.
17:14What is that about?
17:15But, you know what I'm saying?
17:16Like, it's hard to be a wild, like, not a wild personality, but a vibrant personality without people mistaking that you want to hook up with them.
17:25Mm-hmm.
17:26Yeah, that's true.
17:27Do you feel like, as girls, and I always say this, I feel like a lot of dudes, even the guys that I do business with, they all feel like you should sleep together.
17:38Like, every guy, even if you're just doing business and they respect you, but I feel like once you shut that down, then they, but I feel like a lot of guys, even before you do business with them, they want to, like, you know.
17:50The door's open.
17:51I like to do this thing called a waiting list.
17:54Make them wait.
17:55Mm-hmm.
17:55Make them wait.
17:5510, 15 years sometimes.
17:57Well, sometimes you get a better opportunity if you let them think that they can.
18:00Yeah, true.
18:01And then it's not necessarily leading them on, because you're not going to be sexual with them.
18:04But let them think that, and then maybe you'll get more opportunities.
18:08Yeah, you know, I don't know.
18:11Sometimes I don't say nothing, and I just look.
18:13And for some reason, I was told that I hypnotized with my eyes.
18:16Yes, girl.
18:16So I got to go out with, you know, header blockers.
18:19Yeah.
18:21Shout out to Akapu.
18:22I can't even look at you.
18:23I know it's hard being a girl in this industry, because even though we are all, like, all of us are really great at our jobs, you know, you walk into a male-dominated field, you're just automatically sexualized.
18:36So you always have to continue to really prove yourself, and that's what we continue to do each and every day.
18:43And don't excuse our niceness that we want you.
18:45We're just, you know, we have manners.
18:48We're not my name.
18:49You're not my name.
18:50I'm telling my name.
18:51Yeah, exactly.
18:52Well, you know what?
18:53Shout out to these ladies again.
18:55I hope you come join us at the all-girl pajama party going down February 14th at Lit Night Club.
19:02Like I said, we're going to have all the information in this episode about where you can get your tickets.
19:06Zay Francis performing.
19:07He is so sexy.
19:09Please follow him on the ground.
19:10He is fine.
19:11I was like, who is this?
19:12And she was like, oh, you got to come out.
19:15We love you.
19:16Lailuna is DJ.
19:17I'll be there hosting.
19:18My girl Meredith is stopping through.
19:20Shout out to Victoria Skye.
19:22She's a curator.
19:22Yeah, she's a curator of VV experience.
19:24VV experience.
19:25Come on out.
19:26See us February 14th.
19:28Now we got a church guest coming up.
19:30I got to sober myself up a little bit.
19:31Cheers, ladies.
19:32Cheers.
19:32Cheers.
19:33We drinking Jesus.
19:35We talking about church and I'm cussing.
19:37No, it's okay.
19:38He working on it.
19:38You ever seen it?
19:39He working on it.
19:40And we are back in the bed with Babs.
19:52I have a very special guest with me that has finally come to the bed.
19:55I mean, I've seen him on all the news shows.
19:58He was on the radio.
19:59I had to hit him up.
20:00I was like, uh, when you gonna come get in my bed?
20:03Shout out to Jay the Influencer.
20:06Welcome to the bed.
20:07It's good to see you.
20:09It's really good to see you.
20:10Even though I've been seeing you all over TikTok, you have been going super viral.
20:15So for the people who don't know, I need you to let us know, like, who you are and what's been going on.
20:21Well, to be honest, I was supposed to be the apartment review guy, right?
20:26And out of nowhere, I wanted to talk about my experience at a particular church.
20:31And then that video went triple platinum.
20:34And now I'm here.
20:36I'm on the radio.
20:37I'm on the news.
20:38And I'm here with you, Babs.
20:39So I'm pretty excited.
20:41I love that you're here with me.
20:42I'd love to be here with you.
20:43Now, okay.
20:44So did you grow up in the church?
20:46I did grow up in the church.
20:48I did.
20:48I did.
20:48So did I.
20:50And I, you know, there's such thing called, like, church hurt that I've seen on a podcast.
20:54And it's a lot for me to unpack because I went through so much.
20:59And my experience kind of made me not want to go back to church.
21:05Like, I just started going back, like, dibbling and dabbling here and there.
21:08But church hurt is a real thing.
21:11And it sucks because a lot of people who are in charge, a lot of people who are influential into putting things together.
21:18Just make you not want to go back.
21:19Right, right.
21:20Well, I mean, in my opinion, I still love the Lord.
21:23I'll go to church.
21:24You know what I'm saying?
21:25But my whole situation was just an eye opener.
21:28You know, it's one of those things where you live, you learn.
21:31I was super young.
21:31It was six years ago.
21:32So I'm not really mad at it anymore.
21:34I just wanted to share it and let people know what took place for me.
21:37But it's not going to stop my relationship with God.
21:40Because, I mean, at the end of the day, it's between him and I and not him, I, and the church.
21:45So.
21:46Well, say you just want to watch it on TV from your house.
21:49Yeah.
21:49Like, do you think that's still valid?
21:51I feel like it's still valid.
21:53I mean, personally, I didn't skip a couple Sunday services.
21:56So I don't watch it like that.
21:58But at the same time, I turn on some Marvin Sapp, some Fred Hammond in the car.
22:02You know, the waterworks start coming.
22:04And, you know, I'm still praying in the car.
22:06He still loved me.
22:07Even when I took this shot earlier.
22:08Okay.
22:09We just, we drank, we don't call it Jesus juice.
22:11Jesus juice.
22:11We drank some Jesus juice today on the bed.
22:14Now, you know, church is not your whole identity, right?
22:16You love the Lord, but there are so many things about you.
22:19You're a great singer.
22:20You're a great influencer.
22:22And speaking of singing, can you sing something for us real quick?
22:25Oh, my God.
22:25Well, I'll sing like five seconds of the national anthem.
22:28Are you ready?
22:29Yes.
22:30Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light.
22:39That's it.
22:39That's all you do.
22:40Okay.
22:40Okay.
22:41Yes.
22:42All right.
22:44So now that you have went viral on TikTok and all the platforms, what is it that you want
22:49to do going forward?
22:50I don't know.
22:52I don't know.
22:52Listen, I didn't expect so much to happen so early on.
22:56You know, I started social media in 2024, December of 2024.
23:00I had just lost my job during that time.
23:02I was working as a property manager and I was like, you know what?
23:05I'm depressed.
23:06The job market was horrible.
23:08And so I said, let me just put my thoughts online and see what happens.
23:12And I started doing one video, went nowhere.
23:15Another video went nowhere.
23:16Then I started going viral.
23:17And then from there, last year, I decided to get into apartment tours.
23:21People started asking me and requesting me to do certain things.
23:24And then those started picking up.
23:25So it's just everything is happening all at one time.
23:28But my true vision, I've always wanted to be a singer.
23:31I've always wanted to be an actor.
23:32I always wanted to be on the radio.
23:34And it's like, we're only in January and we're checking off the list one by one so far.
23:39So I'm excited for what's to come.
23:41I really don't know what it looks like, but I'm excited for whatever comes my way.
23:44You know, everything happens for a reason.
23:46And it's all been happening so fast for you.
23:49So, you know, that's why it's always good to give your testimony.
23:52Because I feel like you throwing your testimony out there has opened doors up for you for other things.
23:57It really has.
23:58It really has.
24:00I've always been that person to like to give back.
24:04There was a point in my time, like a point in my life where I was working a lot with children.
24:08And it was just because of the fact that it was healing some childhood traumas from back in the day.
24:13And every single day I felt like I was making a difference.
24:15So when I stepped away and I was finally able to focus on myself and then now I'm online making a difference for other people.
24:22Like I feel like I'm just really checking off the life scoreboard right now and going hard.
24:27And that's what I'm excited about.
24:29Absolutely.
24:30Now, getting back into like, you know, the church thing for a little bit.
24:34What were your thoughts on the Drewski skit?
24:36Because a lot of church people did not like it.
24:39But then there were a lot of church people who agreed with it and said that he wasn't necessarily focusing on religion.
24:44But he was basically taking a jab at those mega church pastors.
24:49Yeah.
24:50I feel like, first of all, if you mad about what Drewski said online, obviously there is some truth to it.
24:57And that's the reason why you're upset.
24:59Just like people were upset at your video.
25:00Yeah.
25:01And, and, and, I'm curious, right?
25:03Yeah.
25:03I don't give a damn.
25:06Um, yeah, I mean, at the end of the day, I had to handle those hate comments the way I had to handle anything else you deal with in the real world.
25:12You know?
25:12But I just feel like if you are upset about something that a comedian does, you're taking it too personal.
25:19And every joke has some truth to it and it's touching base somewhere.
25:23So that's why you're pissed off.
25:24And I would be mad at the fact that you're spending your tithes and offering at a church who don't give a damn about you.
25:29Sorry, not sorry.
25:31What do you think the church has to do to really get the young community to start coming back and being members?
25:36I think that they need to upgrade their times just like we need to upgrade the declaration and, and start allowing the young community and teaching things for the young community.
25:45They, they go by this old biblical book and I respect the Bible 100%, but those old ways that you think back in the day is not the new generation.
25:54We got to update and go with the times.
25:56And I feel like because it's so Bible beaten, the young community pushes away from it so hard.
26:02So, I mean, I feel like if it's a more all-inclusive church where people feel welcome, people would want to go, especially the younger crowd.
26:09Man, you just said a word, you know.
26:12I remember the specific incident where, a situation where Glorilla won best gospel song.
26:20That shit was crazy, right?
26:21No, I'm sorry.
26:22You thought it was crazy?
26:22I did.
26:23Okay, okay.
26:24You got to explain, you got to explain, explain.
26:26Because, okay, let me tell you my point of view, right?
26:28I feel like, you know, a person like Glorilla would be kind of like a person that the younger generation would listen to.
26:38So, if she is speaking about God, they're going to listen.
26:41Now, that's my side of things.
26:43You know what I'm saying?
26:43Give me the saint.
26:44Give me the saint side of things.
26:45Listen, listen, I'm going to be real with you.
26:47When I listen to Glorilla, I'm ready to either tear some ass up, right?
26:52Or I'm ready to turn up.
26:54So, I'm not really listening to Glorilla to feel the gospel, but that does not dictate your walk with God.
27:00If you are an R&B artist and you're talking about slapping cheeks left and right, to and fro, turning everybody every which way but loose, but then, you know, you want to do a little gospel on the side, that's your own prerogative.
27:12But her winning the gospel thing that she won at the BET Awards was a little off-putting to me, just because it was one gospel song.
27:22I don't see how it really, it didn't go platinum in my house, you know?
27:25If I'm listening to gospel, the last person I'm going to listen to is Glorilla.
27:29No shade.
27:29But, you know, that was crazy to me, you know what I'm saying?
27:33It was some actual gospel artists in the house, and she won over them, which is, which is, it was a little blasphemy to me.
27:40A little blasphemy.
27:41Just a little bit.
27:41Blasphemy.
27:42Now, speaking of gospel artists, Mount Rushmore of gospel artists, you only get four people.
27:47Damn.
27:48I really like Israel Holted, the back-in-the-day one, not the one that's married to Adrienne Bailone.
27:53Oh, I hope these people don't come for me today.
27:55Wait, what's going on?
27:57Oh, Adrienne Bailone from 3LW?
27:59Yeah, yeah, Cheetah Girls and all that.
28:01She married to a gospel singer?
28:03Yeah, and had a baby with him.
28:04Oh.
28:05Girl had a baby.
28:06Has he changed since he got married with her?
28:08Well, he bald-headed now.
28:09She didn't do something to his ass.
28:11I'm going to be real with you.
28:12Sorry, but I like Israel Holton.
28:16I love me some Fred Hammond.
28:18Okay.
28:18You a real nigga if you know Fred Hammond.
28:20I'm sorry.
28:21Oh, my God, I don't know what to say on this show.
28:24I love it.
28:24Oh, my God.
28:25Let me see.
28:27I like some Juanita Bynum.
28:29I don't know how to say her last name.
28:30Juanita Bynum, right?
28:31Yeah, I think that's how you say it.
28:32Okay, Juanita Bynum.
28:33Yeah, yeah, yeah.
28:34And then we'll throw some Tasha Cobbs up in there.
28:37Tasha Cobb.
28:37But I also kind of like that new girl, Jacqueline, Ja'Kalen, whatever her name is.
28:42Jacqueline Carr, Ja'Kayla Carr, whatever her name is.
28:44Yeah, man.
28:46I like it.
28:47Solid Mount Rushmore right there.
28:49You realize they all black?
28:50Just so you know.
28:52Ain't no shame, though.
28:53Now, you know, I like what you said about the Declaration of Independence needs to be changed.
28:59A lot of the pastors of the megachurches are really shocking me with how they feel about a lot of the social issues right now.
29:10Yes, I think that, in my opinion, if you're going to go to church, preach the word of God, make it feel authentic, make it feel real, make the reality real, but keep certain shit out the church, right?
29:23The gossip, keep it out the church.
29:25The politics.
29:26The politics.
