Some e-bikes can be changed to go much faster and are ridden on pavements. Do you think they should be allowed but controlled, or are they too dangerous and need cracking down on?

00:00I'm surprised they're not controlled, you know, not taxed, because we're taxed for everything nowadays.

00:17But if you do the modification, like some people put the engines in it, like a bike engine,

00:26A blind person can't hear their e-bike, but they're going at 25, 30 mile an hour.
00:36Not just on the road, but on the footpath.
00:38We are introducing a lot of these new rules and transportation methods around the city,
00:42so rules must be implemented so obviously people don't abuse the limits of.
00:49First, I thought the same, like, oh, it's just fun, let people have fun.
00:53But then, actually, if you are hit by the e-bike, it could be quite dangerous, and you don't want that.
