00:00C Monsters, Seattle D pummels pathetic Patriots and super slaughter.
00:05Absolute snooze fest.
00:06I think this is the first Super Bowl in a long time that people were actually sober at the end of the game.
00:12Didn't wake up on Monday morning with any sort of hangover.
00:16There was absolutely no reason to drink.
00:18That game was dry.
00:19I guess, you know what, let me back up a little bit because from an X's and O's standpoint, great game.
00:24Both teams' defenses look and play like they belong there.
00:28But Seattle's defense, I don't think we've given them enough credit for what they've been able to do,
00:33not only throughout the season, but that game as well.
00:36But from an entertainment standpoint, that was probably one of the most boring Super Bowls we've had to watch in a while.
00:44And the commercials just absolutely sucked.
00:46Nothing really lived up to the hype except for that Bad Bunny halftime show.
00:51And it got me thinking, the Super Bowl is for rock star quarterbacks, not for the mid-tier like quarterbacks.
00:59The exciting moments, the thrills, the memorable moments that we're used to, those are made because of elite quarterback play.
01:06We drink, we party, we celebrate, we stand right there in front of the TV waiting for big moments because of elite play from guys like Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, Eli Manning.
01:18Heck, even I'll throw Jalen Hurts' name in there.
01:21So congrats to Sam Darnold.
01:23He is now a Super Bowl champ and a Ghostbuster.
01:26And no disrespect to Drake May.
01:28I mean, my man was one vote away from being league MVP.
01:31But when you sit back and you watch, those probably weren't the guys or the quarterback for that moment or that big of a stage.
01:38But at the end of the day, it's always and only about the game.
01:41So congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks for being crowned champs.
01:45All right.
01:46It's been a fun six months.
01:48The season may be over, but our NFL coverage is about to ramp up even more.
