00:00Ghost story, Sam's big chance to exorcise his Patriots demons.
00:04I think we need to brace ourselves for one of the biggest comeback stories in NFL history.
00:08This dude can legit go from being laughed at for seeing ghosts to a Super Bowl champ
00:14and then being called a Ghostbuster.
00:16If the Seahawks beat New England and he plays well,
00:20then I think we need to redefine the definition of a bust.
00:24October 19th, 2019, what was that, six years ago?
00:28We all saw and heard this man at his lowest moment in his career
00:32in an awful performance against the New England Patriots.
00:40Seeing ghosts.
00:42Then we blamed him over the franchise and we called him and stamped a bust on him
00:48like a tattoo on the lower back of some chick partying in Cancun on spring break.
00:53Look, it's the NFL.
00:55A player gets the last live by winning.
00:58Especially a quarterback.
00:59But most of the time we use wins over numbers and stats at that position unless it's Jalen Hurts.
01:05And he's got a chance for some get back.
01:07This isn't Bill Belichick's Patriots.
01:09He was 0 for 4 against those Patriots with only one touchdown compared to nine INTs
01:14and a 41.2 passer rating.
01:172025 Patriots defense, yeah, they're still top 10.
01:20They're good.
01:20But who you gonna call on Sunday?
01:22Not Ghostbusters, Sam Darnold.
01:24And at the Super Bowl Media Day, he talked about the resiliency that he's had to have and how he's ready for this moment.
01:31The thing that matters is, you know, if you believe in yourself, that's really it.
01:38You know, I always believed in myself.
01:39I knew that I could do this at a high level.
01:41And that was really it.
01:42That's what kept me going.
01:44And I knew at some point an opportunity would arise.
01:46But even if it didn't, I knew that I did everything that I could to become a better player year in and year out.
01:53Go get him, Sam.
01:54For more on Darnold, the Seahawks, the Patriots, and of course the Super Bowl, you guys already know where to go.
