00:00Thanks Jonathan, it's a heady concoction of derby fever and cup fever here at
00:05Oakleview this Sunday night. Falkirk of course hot favourites to take their place
00:10in the last eight of the competition, but Stennismure pulled off a cup shock
00:14against their local rivals only last season and who's to say it can't happen again?
00:19To the sounds of the Falkirk schools pipe band departing the pitch now, adding to the atmosphere
00:37it's Stenny who've been going great guns in league one, though they stumbled at home to Peterhead last
00:44weekend, just one change from that one as Kinley Billam comes in for Finlay Gray, it's a different
00:52story for Falkirk who make half a dozen changes from the win over Livingston, Cole Donaldson
00:57starts for the first time this season having recovered from injury and Keelan Adams and
01:01Lewis Nielsen also come into the defence, Dylan Tate and Brian Graham at return and there's
01:07a first Falkirk start for 19 year old Ben Brodgeo.
01:13In the absence of Ross Taylor, Matty Aitken is Stenny's top scorer, looking to add to the
01:18double he scored last round against Morton.
01:24Ben Brodgeo signed on loan from Aston Villa at the suggestion of John McGinn, recommendations
01:30don't come much higher than that. Duncan Nicholson is the referee for this evening's game.
01:45Let's see just what these two local rivals can serve up.
01:57Falkirk to get us underway.
02:00Well, Stenny are unbeaten in 18 here at Oakleview.
02:12A run that is in serious contention for the league one title.
02:17But this is a stern test of that home form against John McGlynn's excellent Falkirk side.
02:22Nicole Donaldson will be delighted to be back in the staffing line-up and he clips a nice ball forward
02:31for Keelan Adams in an early opening here potentially for Falkirk.
02:34The last thing Stenny wants to do is concede early on here, but they have conceded a corner.
02:42That's the energy of Keelan Adams down that right-hand side.
02:45He'll keep making those runs, the passes well beyond, so it's important to match those runs, close that space off.
02:57It's the man we're talking about pre-match, Calvin Miller, to deliver this corner.
03:01You know how good he can be, he swings that one-back pose, Jameson on the stretch, gets a good glove to it.
03:07Danger's not over yet though, Stenny's Muir trying to work it clear and trying to possibly counter.
03:13Not this time, but they have dealt with the initial corner kick.
03:21Yeah they have, it's a good goalkeeper for Jameson, you feel that he's going to be called on quite often tonight,
03:26but a stretch, keeping that out of danger.
03:32Miller picks up once more, looking at getting the ball into the box, not this time for him.
03:40Cleverly down the line, and across comes Nielsen to deal with it.
03:49Another player who's been plagued by injury, having started the season very well for Falkirk.
03:56Unbound from Hearts. Here's McCann.
04:10They've not had to come far, but they've traveled in numbers.
04:23As they've been doing all season, in fact for the last two or three seasons you'd have to say
04:28an excellent addition to the top flight for all sorts of reasons.
04:31Ross Meekin who was a Darvaux hero back in the day.
04:39He's played his part in arguably the biggest shock in this competition's history.
04:45This wouldn't quite match it if Dennis Muir would compete Falkirk tonight, but it would certainly be a surprise.
04:55He couldn't get there, experience forward, but he's conceded the free kick there.
05:07Tate, it's a lovely ball.
05:21As Falkirk looked to advance here. Spencer wants at the edge of the box.
05:27But before he could get there, O'Reilly was there to sweep it out on the far side.
05:32Falkirk have started the way you guys were predicting, they would, they are on the front foot,
05:44they are looking to just take this game to Dennis Muir, treating it very seriously.
05:48Absolutely, they won't turn up here just expecting to win, because they're a couple of leagues above
05:53Dennis Muir, because they've got better players, they'll come and do it, right?
05:57You can see that early, you know, crucial to Falkirk's play, a lot of the forward players get the plaudits.
06:02Their full backs are so attacking and that, you know, with Dennis Muir playing the back three with the wing backs,
06:08then it's going to be a big challenge for them.
06:11But there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Falkirk know the challenge that faces them
06:15and they will be here, ultra-professional, wanting to get the job done.
06:27The Stennis Muir will be looking to cause a threat of their own at times, Donaldson deals with that.
06:34The captain's armband once again.
06:45The captain's armband once again.
06:52Towards Graham Miller, stopped in his tracks there by Nicky Jamieson.
07:06Marsh out to Adams.
07:08Miller trying to take it in his stride.
07:14Well, it's been pulled back for a previous infringement there on Marsh.
07:24No advantage seen by the referee.
07:28No, but he saw the foul and it lets the play develop.
07:31See whether Carver Miller can get the advantage.
07:34No advantage are back for the free kick.
07:48I mean, that's the softest of soft fouls, I must say.
07:50No advantage, no advantage, no advantage, no advantage, no advantage, no advantage.
07:57A set piece for Stennis Muir to deal with here.
08:01Spencer and Miller over it.
08:03Spencer catching a glance back to his bench.
08:15It's going to be Miller.
08:16There's a dangerous ball high in the air.
08:20Can Stenny get it clear?
08:23Yes, they can.
08:25McCann returns it.
08:36A great stretch.
08:42With strength from Adams, the throw-in's quickly taken.
08:56назв fishing is slammer boots...
08:59the build down the left-hand side is McCann, it's a strong challenge, is it a free kick
09:26I think he's given, I think it is, I thought he took plenty of the ball there, Michele, it's over on the far side
09:51Here's Adams
09:54I'm just trying to get turned on the edge of the box
10:15Launched long, Donaldson
10:17He's got a slightly skewed header
10:20He gets back to recover though
10:22The
10:29He's a
10:32.
10:33John gordan guided to the semi- Finals when they were still in League One pack, 3 seasons ago, albeit they exited the competition at round 4 in the last two years
10:50But who's to say they can't go all the way this season,
10:54the way they've been playing.
10:56They do feel they could beat anyone on their day.
11:04That's Billam.
11:06Nielsen away.
11:09Archie Graham.
11:12Can't find a teammate. Spencer picks up, just overruns it.
11:16Breaks for Adams.
11:19Terrific, big switch of play from Cole Donaldson,
11:34right onto the chest of Leon McCann.
11:37Volker moving the ball about nicely, Miller, well tracked there.
11:42He made the challenge on Miller.
11:47How will Stennis Muir be feeling about the way they've settled in the first ten minutes?
12:02Yeah, they'll be happy. I think that, you know, they'll be well aware Folker will be fired up to get this job done as quick as they can.
12:19I think that, you know, they know how tough it's going to be.
12:22They have to be really concentrated when they don't have the ball and expect Folker to have it.
12:27More than them, close those gaps and make sure they're not easy to play through.
12:31And then when they can get on the ball, can they make things happen?
12:35I think, I think I think this will be happy with how the game started.
12:38come from a tent, what's that?
12:39Donovan and Marsh quickly close down though.
12:41Teat's got it back for Folker,
12:42Can I get in the way of the forward ball?
12:44into marsh quickly closed down though he's got it back for
12:48falkirk
12:55it's getting in the way of the forward ball and run out and played by marsh
13:14i thought stennis me would play with a five at the back but the way they've
13:22started this game it's almost like graham's playing as the right back and meekins
13:25quite well advanced on that right hand side maybe just a slightly lopsided five but
13:33they've done well so far a long way to go and miller
13:39causing problems here as he clips that one and looking for the threat of brian graham it doesn't
13:43reach him
13:50it was aimed at miller but didn't reach the winger and buchanan can knock it forward to aiken
14:00turn back to scott bain
14:11we're looking at the various ties particularly yesterday james and uh chatting with the guys in
14:18the sports sound studio and everyone predicted that there wouldn't be shocks and there weren't but
14:23but all of the games were were closer than maybe you would anticipate and and perhaps this one will be
14:29similar it won't just be a case of the premiership side turning up and
14:34and knocking out the league one side although calvin miller might have something to say about that
14:39i think you might have been listening to you because you were getting to your point there
14:43and calvin miller picks up stances inside great little shift and we know he's more than capable
14:50but he just can't test jameson and goal but you know your point is right you know i think that you don't
14:58there would be a shock if you're expecting it so i think that you know some games have been
15:03a lot closer than we felt they were going to be i think for falker they've been looking at the games
15:09not hoping for a shock but certainly the message tonight will be don't be the shock of the round and
15:15and you know the challenge for stennis muir is can you be the shock around can you have everyone
15:19speaking about you certainly they look like you know they're well up for it they're well organized and
15:24they believe they can go and you know cause falker problems i can still quite clearly remember even
15:31though it's uh just over 30 years ago when they knocked aberdeen out 94-95 beating aberdeen 2-0 here
15:40and a wet and windy it was a a muddy pitch that day it's a far more smooth surface
15:52and local view now as billen prepares to take this free kick but canon looking to attack it they are a
15:59a threat from set pieces as you saw those goals against morton three of the four coming from
16:04dead ball situations miller's through ball is way too heavy usually cleared by damn jameson
16:14yeah they need to try and make that count as much as they can but falker players that can go and
16:19defend that and also when they win it back lightning quick in the counter attack something you know
16:24you know stennis will be well aware of but definitely an avenue for falker to go and
16:28cause problems draw since we're in they think you know it's a great situation but if you don't
16:33switch on and they can cause them problems on the counter counter attack given away by miller in the
16:39midfield not forward by mcgill and then o'Reilly's done well now it's aiken they get the shot off here just overruns it in the end
16:54graham
16:58of course there's a decent one he can just couldn't make enough of it
17:05decent spell this though for the home side yeah i think he's got to try and head that in the bulk
17:09it's crossed then
17:13standing down the left again through o'Reilly
17:16down the left hand side brilliant great little skill end product i think that ball comes in to the box
17:37aiken has to go over his head for me
17:52just looking at the way i mentioned that the standing line up almost looks like a 4-4-2 the way they're
17:57they're lining up at the moment yeah it certainly does look that way maybe as you say a bit more
18:01lopsided um tucking in on the right hand side but certainly against the ball you know he's happy to
18:08go out there and engage it doesn't look like a 4-4-2 character eight can take it on spencer and
18:13take when the ball drops in and try and stop folker from playing through them
18:20but definitely yeah i think you're right a 4-4-2
18:22just keeping folker guessing he certainly played a back five of late albeit i think a lot of the season
18:34that has been a four there's a late challenge in spencer but uh referee content to allow the play to continue
18:42that's a good challenge on him coming in from ollie white there in the middle of the park and now
18:58aiken looking to stretch the legs so he's caught by donaldson wasn't he no he thought so i thought so
19:05referee didn't i did that that's the main thing marsh was definitely caught stennis we'll make their point
19:24yeah i mean clumsy but it's a foul called donaldson claiming to get the ball i think that is it a foul
19:30certainly an easy one to give in real time coming from a brilliant challenge from all the way in the
19:36midfield there adams looking to get the better of billam but it's billam who comes out on top
19:47donaldson has just made a couple of late sub appearances in the last few weeks including
19:52against livingston last time out but he's had to bide his time because henderson and allen recently
20:00have been excellent here come falker as a chance and it's brogio who lifts it way over the top
20:06and although it's not an easy one to take coming out of the air he'll feel that he should have done
20:10better yeah absolutely agree with y'all not easy but it's a brilliant run great little weighted pass
20:19he's got so much time and in the end there's just no conviction he just flicks his right foot at it
20:24he's waiting for it to come down which i can understand but go and meet it or let it drop
20:29across and strike that with your your laces he almost just it's like he gives up on trying to
20:35score them just flicks his right boot i think great vision and execution of the pass from dylan tate
20:43absolutely and that's when you have to go and match the runs because
20:47you know that you know they play high and wide when fall cut in the build-up phase the wide men but
20:53they go and make those runs in between full back and center back and you have to track them
20:57because they've got players that can execute the pass
21:05it's nielsen
21:16donaldson looking for adams who does win it against billham high in the air there from jameson
21:27donaldson nods it down for marsh it's a clever ball miller takes charge
21:33really with them
21:38tate first time well blocked
21:41there's ollie white getting in the way again
21:44one man on loan from motherbolt
21:51tate driving into the penalty area and then just poking it behind for the goal kick
21:57close the gaps in this occasion
22:03said it
22:04driving in trying to play that killer pass but every time he gets inside it doesn't have too much of an option
22:12gary neesmith giving some instructions to nikki jameson
22:17but uh stennis muir have got to that 20 minute mark and they'll just be counting these maybe the 10 minute stages off
22:27one by one as they can uh just work their way more and more into the game
22:33o'reilly really couldn't climb and reach that one
22:47i mean they've not been part of stennis muir
22:50folk have had their moments certainly look dangerous but
22:54peppering the goal and putting them under the mains pressure
23:03the goal and putting them under the mains pressure
23:08brian graham is coming back from an offside position to win that header
23:19he's saying it's impossible and we're going to get a look at it to see if it is impossible or not
23:23yeah i mean that's that's very possible unless there's a slight touch in the
23:39when the two go up for the header in the middle of the park in which case you would back well onside
23:44but from the initial clearance certainly a mile off it's certainly unlike brian graham to be disagreeing
23:52with the officials decision i've never seen that before
23:58good boy it's adamson a killer first touch
24:01riley getting back to just put them off and bill them claims for handball i think from the
24:07falkert fans behind that goal and that's going to be a free kick in stennis favor
24:22good boy it's just down below us to the right and they seem pretty satisfied by
24:40good boy their players efforts so far for sure
24:54good boy it's still empty lifting out to the left hand side broggio helping it on for mccann
25:06talking of the vicinity of the dugout to our commentary position james my ears are still ringing from
25:26when owen coyle was queen's park manager and we're playing here yeah that's a memory i was trying to forget
25:34well it was almost a great season for them
25:50probably gonna have the corner
26:04what was happening
26:06what was happening
26:07what was happening
26:09Brian spencer preparing to swing this in
26:15it's over jamieson it was his brother nicky who was on hand to head it clear actually
26:21bailing out brother darren marsh gets it back into the area and picks up once more
26:28there's no room for a shot
26:30it's a rather tame one but it might yet break
26:32for Graham
26:33and a deflection and Darren Jameson this time
26:36keeps it out, Miller, Darren Jameson
26:39once again
26:39with some heroics in the goal
26:42to keep his side on level
26:44terms
26:45that's an incredible double save
26:48the first one I think
26:50more impressive because I think there's a big
26:52deflection as it comes to him, yeah great reactions
26:55and then Calvin Miller
26:56just concentrating on the hit
26:58it's a save he should make but it's a really good double save
27:00the first save
27:01really good one for me
27:03first time he's really being called into action
27:08but he was more than equal
27:10to both efforts
27:11Graham slips it through for Marsh
27:22little change of direction
27:24the referee sporting and that came off
27:28the Falker player last
27:30Jameson brothers both
27:40putting their bodies on the line
27:42there's a lot of bodies in front of him here for this save
27:47and that little deflection could have gone anywhere
27:49his reactions are really good
27:51his second one
27:52is to get back up and get himself into position
27:55that's what makes that comfortable one for him
27:57but a tremendous first save for me
27:59he enjoyed him
28:00and you're going to need your keeper to make saves like that
28:03if you're going to produce a cup shock
28:05for sure
28:12I saw Carl Ferry do it last year at Ibrox for Queen's Park
28:15not so many of those today unfortunately for him and his side
28:20resounding revenge for Rangers in that one
28:24years
28:36I'm
28:37I'm
28:38I'm
28:38I'm
28:39I'm
28:42That's Brogiot, that's a good ball, and Miller,
29:06well off target.
29:08That's a good move from Falkirk.
29:13Yeah, he's disappointed, but Falkirk now starting to get into positions
29:17where he'll reveal through it.
29:20I can see his frustration, but it's coming away from him.
29:24He's at full stretch, and he's just trying to keep that down,
29:27which is difficult, he's under a little bit of pressure.
29:31Yeah, again, it's Billam who's closest to him,
29:34just doing enough to ensure it wasn't an easy opportunity.
29:39Brian Graham, he's offside, the flag is up before he gets the shot away.
29:54Of course, VAR is not in operation here at Oakville View,
29:58so the assistant gets the flag up early.
30:02Let's see if he was right to do so.
30:06Yeah.
30:07Well, I'll tell you, it's a brilliant first-time pass,
30:09and he's maybe not expecting it.
30:11I think if he's expecting that, you see Brian Graham just shuffling
30:15to get himself back onside.
30:17It's a lovely pass.
30:18Credit to the assistant because it's a tight call.
30:22Bang on.
30:23And here at the other end, it's O'Reilly with the speculative effort,
30:27which just drifts a yard or so wide.
30:34Always worth a try, though.
30:35It is, but I thought he was going to hit it first time.
30:37He certainly eyed it up, and then that hesitation means it's not set.
30:42It's almost too late then to get the contact, the purchase you want,
30:47but slight sight of goal for Senesmure.
31:07O'Reilly trying to sneak that through for Meekin, but McCann gets it
31:11clear, the cannon, the header forwards, and then playing it down
31:16the right-hand side.
31:17Meekin helps it on.
31:19A free kick to Falkirk.
31:23A free kick to Falkirk.
31:25A free kick to Falkirk.
31:27A free kick to Falkirk.
31:32A free kick to Falkirk.
31:35A free kick to Falkirk.
31:38A free kick.
31:43Gary Naismith just calling on Ross Meekin over
31:47in the far side just to, I think, stay as narrow as possible.
31:53A free kick to Falkirk.
31:54Careg in the midfield.
31:56arquiv United.
31:58Here he is, knocking it forwards for Carrick.
32:00for Carrick, and he's given a free kick there
32:14it's a great first touch from Carrick and it's not a foul, there's loads of the
32:20you know little fouls are certainly collisions like that throughout the game
32:26that stops starting, to be honest it suits Dennis Muir, Fogart will play at a higher
32:31tempo than this but that is not a foul.
32:36It is a free kick to be taken by Gregor Buchanan, Nielsen with the header,
32:45this is White, he's back to goal trying to get turned, trying to help out to that right-hand side.
32:56Look to break here, Adams is on his bike down the right-hand side, that's where it goes,
33:00across comes Jameson, well read and well cut out.
33:21I think we've seen these guys before.
33:26It's past their bedtime in behind, I was going to say it looks comfortable but
33:33it's a bit cold, somebody get that man a cup of tea.
33:40Yeah, he's definitely pleased with the way things are going.
33:56I guess the longer they can keep it goalless the more perhaps frustrated and maybe nervous,
34:09although I've not seen a lot of nerves in the Fogart side this season.
34:13They just get that little bit of anxiety about a Stennis Muir goal going in, Fogart fans having a
34:23bit of fun with Darren Jameson who I think has given them a bit back as well.
34:26Yeah, they're throwing the extra ball and it helps Stennis Muir, it definitely does,
34:32because they're happy with the tempo, Gary Smith you hear him below us just you know telling his
34:37players well done and to get a breather, well that certainly helps them, that little delay,
34:42slight delay, any delay helps them.
34:44Speaking about Fogart, they won't get anxious, they won't get nervous but they might try and force it,
34:52they might play that extra risky pass or under hit or over hit and not really play it perfectly,
34:57but we're still a long way away from that.
35:11Adams is always an outlet on this right-hand side, it's not a bad ball in either, Jameson once again is there.
35:20Marsh trying to keep it alive, White gets it further clear though, Donaldson.
35:27Miller, Billam right up his tail, he's done well though, Calvin Miller.
35:34Marsh wins the header and Evert coming in from Brozio again, comfortably held by Jameson.
35:44Yeah he doesn't catch it, it's quite how he would like but it's a brilliant delivery from the right-hand side,
35:48great little knockdown and again he's probably waiting for that to come down a bit lower, he's set,
35:54he knows what he wants to do, probably bounced up a little bit higher than he would like which means
35:57he can't then get the power to get that ball on the way down and it's a comfortable one for Jameson in the end.
36:03eight.
36:13SWPL highlights on the bbc scottyne channel tomorrow evening at half past seven
36:1710 pm
36:18And the excellent interview with Lewis Ferguson is available on iPlayer now.
36:25Give that a watch, it's a really good interview with him.
36:32Really interesting to hear from Lewis out there, that Bologna.
36:38Including some fluent Italian from the young man.
36:41A bit like his old man, really, isn't it?
36:43Yeah, I mean, that'll probably be the biggest achievement for Lewis
36:46that first Ferguson to speak another language.
37:03Calvin Miller.
37:06Up against O'Reilly.
37:10Spencer.
37:15Trying to work the room.
37:18Spencer's not going to be able to keep that in.
37:21And Falkirk are just getting a little bit frustrated.
37:24Because Senesmuir are very well organised.
37:27Very hard working.
37:29Disciplined.
37:31And their game plan is working to this point, you've got to say.
37:34Yeah, absolutely.
37:35You know, you mentioned the shape, the 4-4-2.
37:38It means that the white men are going to have to do an awful lot of work.
37:42Because you spoke about how attacking Falkirk full backs are.
37:45They're closing the gaps well.
37:46Working really hard as a team.
37:48And if Falkirk do get beyond, then they work hard to go and help each other out.
37:52There's Marsh picking up on the knockdown from Graham.
37:55There's a real coming together there with Buchanan.
37:58What's the referee going to decide here?
38:01Marsh has certainly come off worse than the collision.
38:07I must admit, I'm pretty unclear as to what actually happened.
38:19He clears the ball, Buchanan, and then Marsh is running towards him,
38:22and he just grabs him and wrestles him to the ground.
38:25Buchanan does.
38:26I don't think there's any need for it.
38:28So Buchanan's certainly in the book.
38:37Yeah, I mean, that's ridiculous from Buchanan.
38:46I get that he needs to clear it, but he does not need the afters.
38:49You see here, dragging him to the ground.
38:53Especially when he gets the clearance in.
39:07No hard feelings, it seems, and the free kick has gone Stennis Muir's way.
39:18Yeah, I mean, he's got a wave on there.
39:24I think the gist of what Brian Graham was probably saying to him,
39:26was there, try that on me.
39:28That would be a fairer battle, wouldn't it?
39:32Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing that.
39:35They are having absorbed.
40:04and absorbed Falkert's pressure so far can Stennis Muir go one better and get themselves in front here
40:11shortly before half-time Ross Meekin has said knows a thing or two about cup shocks
40:17winding up a long throw in here
40:25flicked on by Jamison trying to cause some havoc down goes Aitken
40:31and Bean claims it Aitken was certainly going down looking for a penalty but that's not forthcoming
40:40and Falkert trying to spring the counter but Miller won't catch it
40:44yeah well you could tell they really fancied causing problems here Gary Naismith out telling his players
40:52where to go
40:53I'm not sure there's much contact I think it was a hopeful claim from Murray Aitken more than anything else
41:11and Stennis Muir certainly making life awkward for
41:35their local rivals
41:37he said get himself into trouble against Carrick here just have to be careful guides it back to be
41:50Tate looking for Adams but well cut out by Willem
42:03Spencer in front of Aitken though
42:08Falkert getting their noses in front another full-blooded challenge from Jamison who's right up for this as the rest of the Stennis Muir team
42:21Donaldson fell by Aitken
42:34Donaldson fell by Aitken
42:36he's Brogio for Marsh
42:43it's Brogio for Marsh
42:49he's Brogio makes the move forward
43:04charge down there by McGill
43:06Tate with the ball ends and inviting one had to be turned behind
43:22I thought Buchanan got the last touch but maybe Graham was one to just knock it by the post it's a great delivery
43:31it's a great delivery none the less
43:33it certainly shouldn't be surprised that Dylan Tate puts a good ball into the box
43:49one of the several Falkert players who have come through all the way from League One
43:56of the several Falkert players who have come through all the way from League One
44:06there's a real nucleus of the Falkert squad who have come through the ranks if you like trusted by John McGlynn to make the various steps up
44:16you have to see he's also added to that squad very wisely on the whole number of good loan signings
44:32on for me john mcglennan his ability to improve players outstanding and it's mad you're speaking
44:39about players here that played in league one and we are speaking about this you know of saying
44:43this will win it how big a shock it would be and it would be a huge shock it just shows you how far
44:47they've come you never know if they finish top six and win the scottish cup it could be in the
44:58running for a third manager of the year award that'd be some achievement now it's definitely
45:06within the reach but they have to get the job done here tonight first yeah absolutely
45:10that's by no means a foregone conclusion at this stage the half time almost upon us
45:15drop of the shoulder from brogio but no way through
45:38here's miller adams is with him
45:51uses him as a decoy miller sends it in but can and clear
45:55miller collects once more
45:59and tate now donaldson
46:02out to mccann
46:07for good trying this time from the left-hand side
46:11rodgers cross cut out though
46:13the defendant so well sinis we are you know they're trying to block those gaps try to stop you know
46:18crosses coming into the box and even when it goes over the other side the shuffle across very well
46:24put that pressure on
46:25this hasn't been a slack folk performance you know folk have played this tie exactly how i expected them to
46:33but sinis we would have been so well organized
46:35but uh a wild day for there from louis marsh
46:49just a minute uh added on at the end here we're into that now
47:09looks very much like we're heading in goalless at half time unless
47:17thought we can come up with something here
47:23there's nielsen here just tries a straight ball down the middle we can in there
47:42kept in by graham or not he's out now certainly
47:47final attack of the first half call donaldson
47:57nielsen
48:00to brogio
48:01closed down by graham brogio's got the break of the ball though
48:05it's going to come to dylan t can you get a shot off here he's crowded out brilliantly by
48:09stennis muir o'reilly then fouled by spencer and that will relieve the pressure and that will
48:15pretty much be that for a first half of which stennis muir worked ever so hard
48:22yeah they have it excellent from o'reilly you know he's playing this wide area but
48:26narrows up really well spots the danger and not only that he wins the ball and gets the
48:31foul for his team takes the pressure right off from which was a promising position for falker
48:36well darren jameson taking his time over the goal kick but it won't be required because the referee has
48:49brought the first half to a close a goalless first half much to the delight it would appear of the
48:57stennis muir fans who have gathered here this afternoon
49:03darren jameson with a new bit of goalkeeping kit there that is uh taking off with him and uh certainly
49:11gary naismith and brown ferguson the stennis muir management team will be happier than that man john
49:16mcglin as the sides go in for their half-time team talk uh falkirk have um well they've been decent
49:25forcing a couple of changes a couple of saves from darren jameson a double save after 25 minutes to
49:33keep the score lines blank but um but other than that stennis muir have been dogged in keeping
49:40falkirk at bay and uh ultimately the premiership side haven't been able to find a way through
49:48and so at half time in the fifth round of the scottish cup it's stennis muir nil falkirk nil
