00:00What we're announcing today is a speeding up of the programme for new apprentices where we've got major infrastructure and investment projects.
00:11Sometimes when there's a new project in energy, in maritime or defence, they need a new apprenticeship course.
00:19Up until now it's taken a bit too long to get those new courses approved.
00:23So I've asked Skills England to narrow that to make sure they can be approved in a few months.
00:28It's all about making sure we can get investment going quicker and when that investment comes, making sure that the companies involved get the skills and the staff that they need.
